They aren't mocking Betty. They are just acting. Betty may say that on her blog but she knows thats not whats going on.

At least veronica had the decency of consoling her best friend. I however believe that Veronica will not be so happy when she faces the hardship of marriage,I cant wait see veronica's face when she realize that the grass always appears to be greener on the other side.

Really ronnie? When I read archie comics I always thought you were alittle snobby, but now you are just a stuck up, spoiled brat, who doesnt care who she hurts and how bad she does as long as she gets her way. You disgust me at times.

You know, I'm getting pretty fed up of how people are portraying Betty as this dumb blonde who is nothing but Archie obsessed.

Can the comic creators please do something to spice up the series? Why not introduce actual new characters that'll stay on for longer, and totally different ones that don't feel up some "stereotype" or meet some sort of "quota"?

I knew a guy who put us in mind of Archie, but let me tell you - he was no in the least bit popular or fawned over. So I don't get how there's so much hype over his character. It's just...old.

No offense people, but Archie has ALWAYS made it obvious that he has preferred Veronica over the years, even if Betty IS better for him. And I'm sure if Archie proposed to Betty, you wouldn't be bombarding her blog with comments like "How could you do this to your best friend Ronnie? How dare you, Betty!"

Yes, Veronica can be selfish, but she didn't force Archie to propose to her and she had ever right to say yes. She has had just as much claim on him as Betty has. People feel bad for Betty because she has always been hopelessly in love with Archie, despite his flaws. Well, Archie has always been hopelessly in love with Veronica, despite her flaws as well. Besides, Betty has been way to clingy and pathetic when it comes to Archie in the past, constantly letting him walk all over her and make her second fiddle and treat her like crap. Veronica has certainly done the same to Archie, but why is Betty's obsession a sign that she and Archie are meant to be, but Archie's obsession is a sign that he and Ronnie are all wrong for eachother?

Archie is just following his heart, regardless of what everyone else in the world thinks. It's HIS DECISION. And Veronica is not to blame.
