Not this Year, anyway! Yesterday, I saw all the great outdoors I care to see, thank you very much. Yesterday was the big School Picnic. It started out great… but we decided to explore the old Riverdale Cave and it’s like a half mile though the woods.
So, we hiked there. I was in shorts. And I went straight through a big patch of – you guessed it - poison ivy. I’ve never been so miserable in all my life! I didn’t think you could get poison ivy until July!
I am covered in calamine lotion and, although it’s pink, it is the most unattractive shade in the world. I itch and I look terrible!
What a way to start the summer :(

Ouch! I hope you get better. Here are some tips for the next time you might go on a picnic!
1.Put a sweater on.
2.Wear pants to avoid scratches or mosquito bites.
3.Bring aloe leaves! Those work for cuts.

well i hope u get better ron! how was the picnic wat did u eat? this morning for breakfast, i ate german pancakes. they are the best pancakes in the hole world!!! they are like scrambled eggs with a little extra. it was/is soooo yummy!!!!!!!!!!!

Awwww Ron! If it makes you feel better, at the track meet the other day I aced a high jump...but then I tripped on a wet drain and now my whole left leg is covered in scratches...ouch! I've got to put this horrible white cream on it every night to make sure it doesn't get infected!
That's 2 bad, Ron! U should always bring a lot of fisrt aid kits n stuff when ur camping or hiking!- Amal*F
