That’s what I am going to call my book! Like it? I have decided to write about Cookie’s life before I met her. I just have to speculate, because I don’t know very much about her life before me, but I thought it would be fun trying to put the pieces together.
If my book is good, (and I truly hope it is) I would like to write some sequels:
Cookie Goes Shopping
Cookie Goes to the Doggie Spa
What do you think? I know Bets asked all the horse lovers a bunch of questions on her blog. I can’t think of as many questions as she did, but I did come up with a few:
Do you have a favorite dog story?
How about a favorite dog movie?
Are there any good dog story authors out there?
Do you like scary dog adventures or sweet happy-ending stories?
I would love to hear from all the doggie lovers out there. (That’s YOU!) if you have any suggestions, put ‘em in the comments! Hurry - we have a book to write!

P.S. I almost forgot – Ms. Grundy LOVED her gift. Bets and I got her a new paperweight for her desk and a little box of peppermints. (It’s her favorite candy. Go figure.) Ms. Grundy also asked me to thank everyone for the “kind birthday wishes” – that’s a quote. She loved them!
Q.Do you have a favorite dog story?
A. Yes, it's called "One Small Dog"
Q.How about a favorite dog movie?
A. Yeah, Doogal. Okay, it's a totally fiction... well,Fantasy movie but it's main character is Doogal the dog.
Q.Are there any good dog story authors out there?
A. Johanna Hurwitz, the authour of "One Small Dog".
Q.Do you like scary dog adventures or sweet happy-ending stories?
A. Not to sound sappy and sweet, but I'd say sweet happy-ending stories. Okay, scary ones give me jitters in the night!
Hahaha, like "Finding Nemo." ;) Hope you don't get writer's block. Very frustrating while getting writer's block when writing a story for the Story Starter (Contest)... -_-

Because Of Winn-Dixie is a pretty good book AND movie. But still, happy books are better :). If you want my advice, ur stories should be for little kids, cuz little kids like happy pet stories more n then u could have cool colorful illustrations! :) - Amal*F

2. favorite dog movie, well i love the movie, "my dog skip" Its so cute and sweet, even though it is sad its really sweet too.

4. I like happy endings.
thanks for the questions! It was fun! I can't wait to hear about your story!
No offense, Veronica, but you sound a little like Cookie Monster (from Sesame Street). I would name my dog some thing else based upon his personality-is the dog friendly? Name him/her something like...*Friend* or something-I'm lame at coming up with names...
I have two puppies, a Shih Tzu and a Pikanese, They are so wild but I love 'em! My fave dog story is called The Summer of Riley. I read it at least 5 times when i was in 4th grade.
I HOPE IT HELPED!! jomo

Hi veronica! i am a good writter for a girl like me and so maybe for your dog story of cookie maybe you can use a problem as like for example, Cookie was found on your doorstep and her first owners moved away without her or something like that. i hope it helps your story!:)
hey i posted a note on bets blog and i luv horses just as much as dogs but i dont know any extra good dog movie i like them all =)
I much prefer happy dog endings.
my favorite dog story isn't actually a book. it's a story about my dog Nellie. We found her outside our house in November back in 1998. She was a stray and very thin, we couldn't figure out how old she was. we put ads in the paper and signs up saying we found this stray dog. no luck. We ended up keeping her, and had her for about 9 and a half years until she died about 3 weeks ago while being petted. She had a happy life and a good family not to mention plenty of siblings. She was lucky, a lot of dogs aren't.
oh and a real book about dogs that I love is "Where the Red Fern Grows" unfortunately it's very sad at the end and always makes me cry.
I think you should write a story about a dog that accidentally gets life behind at his owners cottage when they leave, and how she has to make her way back to her owners are find new ones.
