I got a call today. It was an invitation for The Archies to play at a VALENTINE’S Dance! This is NOT the way to avoid Valentine’s Day and I really don’t want to do it.
It’s not ON Valentine’s Day; it’s the Saturday before, but still – the place will be all decorated, and we’ll have to play love songs, and Archie will be there, and so will I, and so will Betty.
I told Betty. She doesn’t know what to do either. I guess we should tell the guys. What do you think?

I think you should go ahead and do the dance(you guys could probably use some extra money:) But I would cooperate with Betty and agree to just kind of ignore Archie, focus on someone else, like Jason! Or Adam! You do HAVE options:D :D Remember that and play like you are playing to someone else:D

I think you should do it, but instead of singing songs that say things like, "You are my one and only" write a couple of songs that aren't directed at people. Write about love itself, not being in love. That's really all I can think of, but I think that it's a good oppritunity for the band.
Simple. tell JUGHEAD that Ethel will be there and he will refuse to come.
My advice is this get over yourselves.I mean honestley you guys played love song together before as a gourp without any trouble. If you really want to skip the melo drama as you like to call it, cool off and just treat as another "The Archies" gig.Oherwise your'e being incerdibly unfair to rest of the group as well as your fans hoping to see you preform.

Hey Ronnie and BBs. I need help. I have a problem with valentines day too. So there are two special ed kids in my school that like me because I am one of the only kids that will talk to them. One of them is nasty, picks his nose and stuff like that, and he gave me his phone number. The other is just not very nice to anyone but me. I am scared of what will happen on valentine's day because they both gave me stuff at Christmas too. WHAT SHOULD I DO? HOW DO I MAKE THEM STOP WITHOUT HURTING THEIR FEELINGS???? I think you should go anyway. A valentines party would be great epecaly if Archie is the host. You should do it and I bet you and Archie would have a great time.
just do it. i know that you made a resolution to stay out of the valentines junk but you can't let down the band! I know it will be hard to not get caught up in it but you have to do what you have to do. remember: The band is counting on you to be there and you can't let them down because of a silly resolution.

Valentines day isn't that bad, you shouldn't try to avoid it, its a great holiday! I'm sure you'll be fine playing at the valentines day dance, i bet it will be fun!

Well, I think you and Betty should talk it over with Archie. You need to agree on one thing like Archie can't dance with any girls except for you and Betty. And Betty and you need to agree that you each can only dance with Archie ONCE to ONE song. Maybe that will help. Also remember to just have fun=)
you and betty can decide it or you can take turn.but have fun.
For some odd reason, I don't see what the problem is with this. You are all going to the dance. Consider it a regular gig. Hope this helps!
