I almost forgot to tell you with the snow and everything. I talked to Archie Friday at school and I told him – very plainly (because that’s the only way you can talk to Archie) – that he should NOT get me a Valentine’s gift.
I think Betty’s right; we need to put a stop to all this Valentine’s Day nonsense before it ever starts. I don’t think it’ll happen this year. You know, this might just be the first time EVER that Archie, Betty and I aren’t mad at each other for Valentine’s Day. Wow!

Aren't you and Betty worried about Cheryl? If you two turn Archie down, then he may ask her out for that day. Unless... maybe the whole gang could get together for Valentine's Day. Do a little something different like a secret Cupid gift with a limit of $5 or $10, a nice picnic or dinner, and go dancing- as a group. That way no one feels left out and you all get to enjoy each others company without any hurt feelings.
