I guess you could consider shopping on Black Friday a holiday tradition – I mean, people like me look forward to it every year. There are some traditions though that I just don’t get. I’d like to discuss some of those between now and New Year’s if you don’t mind.
Let’s start with Eggnog.
My opinion: YUCK!!!
Daddy loves the stuff. So does Smithers. I’m thinking it must be an old person thing – though I could be wrong. Daddy’s not all that old. Eggnog is loaded with calories, has an ugly name, NO carbonation, and it a very unattractive color. I mean, holiday beverages should not be beige.
That’s my take on eggnog. I would like your opinion. :)

i love eggnog! i've loved it since i was a little kid.
eggnog is great have you tried the stuff give it a trie you just might like the calorie filled beige drink.
I used to like the drink, but over the years I've lost the ability to swallow it. I think it's an aquired taste. ^^

Who cares about the calories? :3 Eggnog is goooood. *heart*
A few extra calories won't make you blow up. And even if it does- Well You should accept people for WHO THEY ARE, not what they look like. It saddens me to see how many people forget that.
Of course, eggnog is not for everyone. I'm not judging. (A few of my best friends dislike it, and I can't figure out why... but I still love them dearly.)

LOL, Ron, it doesn't matter how old one is to like eggnog. And it's not bad if a person likes it or hates it. We all have different tastes in things.
I used to hate eggnog but now I like it. My older sister loves it like crazy, lol!!
And who cares about the calories. All's good in moderation. ;D If you were gonna gulp down on heavy espresso all day then I'd say, "What are you drinking?" lol!
Oh I forgot to warn you, I do tend to say lame jokes so heads up, lol! ;D

i think eggnog is completely gross and i dont see why it is a tradition also. i tried it once and i dont plan to try it again for a while.
I LOVE eggnog. But like Gottapenname, I like apple cider more! I LOVE apple cider! And I like hot chocolate too! =9 yum.
if i am not wrong, eggnog is made out of eggs, sugar, salt, milk, vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon. it tasted totally GROSS and it is indeed high in calories. I really do not enjoy the taste at ALL.

hey veronica the eggnog here in the philippines is quite different from yours.here we eat it..it is shaped like a dome and comes in different flavors.its delicious.

It's not the calories, it's the carbs! That'll hurt ya right there! And whatever you do, skip the sugarfree or splenda hot chocolate! Totally gross! One thing about T1 diabetics: they can eat whatever...they just can't DRINK whatever! *now where did I put that diet dr. pepper*
