So, it’s almost Halloween, and finding the perfect costume can be grueling. You can always go with the classics like vampires, witches, and black cats. Or dress up like your favorite movie or comic character. Halloween stores have plenty of ready-made character costumes all prepackaged; all you would need are some accessories. But honestly, it is more fun to create your own costume. This can work with whatever you choose to be. If you have a movie character that you just adore, print out a picture of her/him and go hit up the stores and see what you can find. Thrift stores come in really handy here – they are affordable and have so many hidden treasures when it comes to costumes. Just the other day, Midge was at a local thrift store and found this oh-so-funky, way-old wedding dress for really cheap. She was thinking of getting that, a black wig, throwing on some ghoulish make-up and being the Bride of Frankenstein. And then there are always the super cutesy girly costumes, like fairies, French maids, genies, and cowgirls. And that classic rule I always stress: accessorize, accessorize, accessorize. The little things can improve your costumes soooo much. They give it that authentic look. And most importantly, have fun! Halloween is a time to be daring, and a little kooky. It’s a time to be someone else for a day. Are you usually the tomboy type? Then glitz it up for Halloween and get dressed way fancy like a pop star diva. Are you usually a glam girl? Then dress all spooky like a zombie. You can look like yourself any other day. Don’t dress in a way that will make you feel uncomfortable of course; just try something different.

im going to the thrift store and im gonna get a pair of bell bottom pants and a long sleeve t-shirt( not sure what color tho, any ideas? )
and a vest either black or brown. and put a whole bunch of patchs that have peace signs on them.
and get a peace pendant and ( hopefully ) find a big goofy hat and some clip on extensions for my hair..........what do y'all think?

pureheart, you're going to dress like Jughead? AW-SOME. The Archie costumes are cool...but the betty and veronica ones arent very interesting. I dressed up as a hippie once too! I dressed in a really, really way to big tie-die shirt, and a colorful vest, black would do fine though. extentions: Good Idea. But im not so surabout the hat.....Don't make it so crazy that people wonder what you are for halloween. but other wise, its a rally, really fun idea! Good luck, Sage!

GREAT!Im gonna go as my favorate (one of my favorates) disney PRINCESS!Her name is belle,from bueaty and the beast.A classic disney pricess.Oh,Kulsoom,My sister a few years ago,dressed up as a ghost,it was a charlie brown ghost.It was made out of a bedsheet,marker and scissers.The marker was for charlie brown,he said in the halloween epesode``I had a little troubol with the scissers.``So she put LOTS of holes (marks) on the ghost costume.Your new friend,Lucy

That's great, Ann! :) I love Mario games! My favorite brother, out of those to, is Luigi. Man... Mario exercises a lot, but he hasn't lost a pound! Hahahahaha.

Oh, and for the Jughead Costume. I am NOT going to buy it. There are two reasons why...
1. The clothes... look---er---- "Non-Jughead" even though it's a Jughead Costume
2. No kids size
The Jughead Costume is not so great. The shirt... it doesn't look like Jughead's. Etc. My mom is going to make me Jughead's Shirt ("S") {My mom can make clothes...}. It'll be a blue turtle long-sleeved Turtle Neck with the white letter "S" on it. So far, I just have black pants like Jughead. And his beanie... so I just need his shirt. OH! And--- I'm buying his kind of shoes (the one that my Jughead doll wears). I'll look exactly like my Jughead doll. ;)

well...i think i'm gonna be a goth. i don't need to buy those costumes cuz they look so childish. i already have all the things to be goth. it's fun cuz i'm gonna paint my nails black and but black eye liner and black eyeshadow and my lips will just be neutral lipstick. and for my clothes i'm gonna pick my totally cool black shirt that says 100% me and it has rhinestones. for my pants i'm gonna pick my black skinny jeans. and my shoes will be chuck taylor. and my accessories will all be black. oh and i'm making my hair super straight. anyway i chose this goth look cuz it's edgy and since last year i was an arabian princess.
