You’ll never guess. Okay maybe you already know, so I’ll tell you. It’s National Dog Week! I didn’t know that dogs get the whole last week of September for a holiday, until I talked to the lady at the Riverdale Adopt-A-Pet Animal Shelter. We’re playing at their big fund raiser next weekend. I learned so much neat stuff about dogs! Like:
They sweat through their feet.
And they should never eat grapes.
And some of them don’t shed at all - which is a plus if you have a wardrobe like mine!
This week, I am going to talk about dogs on my blog (maybe not very much because my knowledge of dogs is a bit limited. In fact, the only dog I know even halfway well is Hotdog!) But I love dogs and I want to learn more about them before we play next weekend.

My dog, Kya, is amazing. She is an Australian Shepherd. She has an adorable collie face, which is why, even though she is 5 years old, people think she is a puppy. She has a blue mearl body, and big brown eyes. She is medium size. She LOVES chasing squirrels... she caught two! She doesn't eat them though. We don't even need a fence! She stays right in our yard. She loves playing ball and for inside, squeaky. She is so protective of me! She barks even when my daddy hugs me! She also LOVES attention.
doesnt Ron have a dog in the comics? anyway, i HAD a dog. she used to be my brother Alex's, but he's 29 now. and he got her wen he was about 10 or so. she died wen i was 5 [im 11 now]. sniff. she was such a good dog! she never barked, or bit, and she loved kids. but, now my dad is allergic, so we can't get another =*(.

My doggy's name is Duncan. He's a lab pointer mix and I love him so much. We got hime from the shelter. But Ron, knowing you, you'll probably get a purebreed. But it would be really nice to adopt a pet from shelter. Some of the dogs are really, really sweet.

Hi Ronnie, I have a dog his name is Rookie and he is a chocolate lab. He is pretty big but i love him. He is 4 years old. We take him for a walk two to three times a day but my dad takes him running at night, dogs need lots of excersize and attention so if you get a dog be prepared. We feed our dog two times a day once at 7:30am and again at 5:30 and you need to make sure you always have water out for your dog. If you do want a dog you just want to be ready for alot of work epcially if it's a puupy so if you get one don't get a puppy get a dog that is aleast2 years old

i have 2 dogs...and they are my besetest friends!!! one is a german shepherd mixed and a doxie!! they weren't friends at first but they are now!! my german shepherd mixed is named Sweetie and is really old but still strong! My doxie name Lymo is only 2 or 3 years old! they are so cute together and i cant imagine my house without them or any other dogs!!!
I have a mixed breed. Her name is Sheila, which is australian for "girl". We named her that becasue she is part Australian Shepard. She is also part labrador. If you get a dog, dont feed it chocolate or grapes. Mixed breed's temperments are sometimes better, but purebreds are nice too. Good luck convincing your dad!

I love German shepards but I rather not have a dog because they shed and poop and that's gross and time consuming. Plus, it would be painful when they die. I had a rabbit i loved so much and it was painful when he died. :(
I heard dogs can't eat chocolate cause it's poison for them.. and cats too. That's all I know about dogs. I thought I heard that since dogs cant sweat they pant through their tongue... something like that. I'm not sure though, so don't take my word for it, lol.
I have two dogs and one of them just had puppies! My sister has a dog too. Well anyway, if you wanna know about them then here it goes...

*It would be a good idea to study about the type of dog you think you might want as your new pal*
*Dogs need to be fed 1-3 times a day depending on how much food you give each time*

1. Chow Chow and the Shar-pei, both with black tongues

Ronnie, I have a gold pomeranian named Chenel(the purfume) I love her soo much. And the great thing is that they fit into those adorable stylish little bags that complete and outfit better then any other accessory
You should totally get a pomeranian, just cry alot if your dad says no and you'l be sure to get one.

i have a little miniture schnouzer!!! her name is sasha and she is adorable. she is very vocal and loves to talk (bark) when she wants to play she will come and grab the edge of my skirt and pull on it!! her ears stand strait up too and that is what makes her so cute!!!
