School starts NEXT WEEK. My back-to-school shopping is done (can you believe it?) and this is a holiday weekend – the LAST one of Summer 2007! I can’t think of a better way to spend it than with my friends. ?
I think I’ll invite everybody over for a pool party this weekend. Sunday night sounds good. We’ll swim… and maybe have a cookout… I’d better talk to Gaston and see if he’s ready to fire up the grill again! He’s still recovering from the camping trip! LOL

You should do something fun like a raffle or goodie bags!!! Pick a theme and decorate your pool to match it, like hawaii and put up palm trees and give out lais.

maybe you should think about having the party on saturday afternoon. sunday the night before school starts should be a time for getting ready for school the next day, and a lot of kids parents might not let them out. but if you do it saturday afternoon, the sun will be shining. by the way, 2 PM is the hottest time of day, so you should probably do it around then. blast some music and decorate it hawaiian
