With fall coming up, the must-have on every girl’s list is blazers, blazers, blazers. They were in last fall, and are still just as chic this year. They go great with everything: skirts, black pants, jeans, dresses, you name it. And there are an unlimited number of styles to choose from, such as all the different fabrics, like wool and twill, to different patterns like plaid or striped. And of course the classic solids and tweeds are always a stylish choice.
Put aside your contact lenses this season, girls, and wear your glasses with pride. Thick-framed eyeglasses are all the rage this fall. Classic black fames go with everything, but if you want to get a little funky, there are a variety of bright and bold colors to choose from. And though all the top designers may have some fantastic frames, there are fabulous and more affordable ones for those of you whose fathers aren’t billionaires like mine. And even if you don’t need glasses to help your vision, do not fret! You can pick up a pair of non-prescription frames just for the look.

YES, glasses are in! I really don't get where the idea 'if you wear glasses you're a geek' came from. I mean, I wear glasses so that I can see the whiteboard and I'm nothing close to a nerd . by the way, no offense inez but i found your comment a bit insulting. Mainly because I wear glasses and I think it's cool that people want to wear our look. How is that weird?

Glasses are soo not in. were they ever? especially when you wear them for no reason. the style for glasses are contacts. Defintently NOT thick and colorful. I ditched my christie brinkley metal pink glasses cause everyone was staring at me wierd. and plaid is most definently NOT in. I think solid color simple dresses are in now with HUGE sunglasses are in.

OMI! I HAVE DESIGNER GLASSES! THEY'RE THE LASTEST THING!!!!! oh but ugggh blazers. i like shrug blazers though. we have a stupid blazer 4 7-12 graders at my skool. and u suffocate the second u get in it!

It really is... a lot of people are wearing thick-black framed glasses... the boys and the girls. :) I see it a lot... And...uh---- that's all. Bye. Just wanted to inform you guys.

OK, first of all, it's not the "nerdy" look. It's the sophisticated look. I look like 3 years younger than I am without my pair of designer glasses. Did I tell u they're the latest thing? oh yeh i did. oops. my bad.
Yeah, ur not a geek if u hav glasses! Glasses r cool n can make u look more mysterious, intellectual, cool, etc.Wearing empty frames and spending all that money seems pointless 2 me, but if u do need something 2 help u c better, glasses r the answer. Contacts r reaaaaally bad 4 ur eyes so u shouldn't wear them till u're 16 n ur eyesight # is stable, if at all. Tweed n plaid r cool.Its was really sad when Sirius Black died in the 5th book, n the epilouge was extremely satisfying. It was a good way 2 end the series, though J.K Rowling should write more! Glasses r meant 2 help ppl who hav weak eyesight so nyway, u should b able 2 make them work 4 u so luckily they're in now.- Amal*F
Whenever I hear About Harry Potter, it makes me think of A Series of Unfortunate Events. I love that series! It teaches you all sorts of stuff, too. Now I know the difference between nervous and anxious! (nervous and anxious are not the same thing.)I've read the first 9 books of the series, and watched the movie.
glasses are becoming more popular nowadays. a lot more people wearing. Now I see more people wearing them in fashion magazines. anyways back to school orientation is today for my school (great bridge middle school) and school starts on tuesday! great bridge wildcats rule!
