Did You Like It?

Nobody will stop mentioning that... I know a lot of people like High School Musical, but I HATE it. I absolutely HATE it. It annoys me very much. They're on back-packs, note-books, etc. It's very irritating. I just watched TMNT and there was a commercial about Danimals with them. Ugh... "You can win and you can get a visit from us! Zack and Corbit!" Oh, wow! That's really groovy. And I'm being sarcastic. And please do not correct me if I spelled the names wrong. I really HATE High School Musical and no, I have never watched it and I never will. I am not into those kinds of movies. But I absolutely want to have at least one day without somebody mentioning it. Even from the television or computer ads. Anything. And I'm glad that High School Musical won't be popular anymore and one day somebody's going to say, "High School Musical is SO Yesterday!" And I can't wait to here that. Please do not be offended. For everyone has their own opinions.

Not really a fan. I thought the first movie wasn't too good and the sequal...ehh so-so. BUT I am a big fan of the song "Bet On It" by that guy...with the brown hair.

It was good and so was the first one but it isn't like it is the best movie ever! I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT THIS IS GETTING SO MUCH DARN ATTENTION! NEITHER OF THEM WERE THAT GREAT!!! THEY WRE GOOD BUT IK DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY EVERYONE IS MAKING SUCH A BIG DEAL ABOUT THIS!!!!!!!!!!! Two of my friends loved the first one two hated it I liked it but didn't love it so I'm a neutrel party. But we all thought the second one waas good but I don't think it deserves all the publicity it is getting!

I've never seen Hight School Musical, let alone Hight School Musical 2. What's it about?

I was surprised! When I saw the previews, I was like it's not good and I liked the first one better, but once I saw the 2nd one, I was... surprised! I loved it better than the first one.

By the way, did you see Miley Cyrus in the scene somewhere the end when they were dancing by the pool? I even checked a online database and says she really was in it. Only thing is that it says she is portrayed there. She looks like she was an extra. (extra is when one is in the background of a movie or show and doesn't say a word.)

Anyways, it was fun! :D

HOWEVER...

Have any of you heard of the Stage Version in San Fransisco? Auditions for it were in the San Fransisco Chronicle...
Anyway, I auditioned, and out of 275 people, only 30 made it. I'm one of the 30!!!

AND, Pureheart, it is MUCH better than the movie.
It is less corny/cheesy (though not entirely cheesy) and much LESS focused on only 4 people. MUCH BETTER- the songs are AWESOME, too. Not like the movie- where all the voices are synchronised...

Anyways, I highly dislike the movie, but like the stage version MUCHMUCH better.
Tell me if you agree!

I LOVED HSM2!!! I had a lot of favorite songs and scenes in the movie! In fact, this movie series reminds me a lot of you and your friends, for two reasons:

1. The whole family-friendly atmosphere.
2. Troy, Gabriella, and Sharpay = Archie, Betty, and you! (No offense!)

This movie was definitely a classic!!!

Hey Pureheart, i didn't think it was going to be very good either before i watched it but i now i think their fun and cute! Although they aren't something that i think will be a classic movie in years to come i think their fun to watch. You might want to just watch it and see if you like it. Just a suggestion though.
To Veronica: I really liked the second one! i thought it was almost as good as the first one!

I LOVED HSM2!!! i went to my friends house and all of my other friends were there my fave songs were bet on it and gotta go my own way and i heard that some of the original ppl rnt going to be in the 3rd hsm!!! It wasn't as good as I thought it would be honestly.

I love music and singing, so that part was just fun for me. But the plot was horrible. In the end of the first one they made like everything was resolved between Sharpay and Gabriella, but in 2 she's (Sharpay) is after them again. They should have stuck with the plot. I think they tried to hard and just should have kept the same quality as last time.

I saw it and LOVED IT! I think it was much better then hsm 1. I'd tell you which song I like best but I love more then one! So I'll just list all the songs I liked. Let's see, there was 'what time is it, fabulaus, work this out, bet on it, you are the music in me(kelsey's version), can't dance, gotta go my own way and all for one. basicly I love all of the songs! If I had to pick one song though, I'd ethier pick work this out or what time is it. That's my two cents about hsm 2.

Julia VP, I don't know what movies I think will be classics someday. I know some movies that I want to be classics, but I know that they won't be. But, I like many movies. All sorts of movies that is. TMNT, Fantastic Four (all), Ghost Rider, X-Men (all), Disney movies (not all though of course), The Archie's in Jugman (:D), Donnie Darko (sad...), Harry Potter, Black an White movies (I will not list all...too long), uh---- I watched a lot of movies. And I mean A LOT. Not only the ones I listed, WAY more. :)

Ugh. HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL?!?!?!?! That thing is for 2 year olds! Troy has no personality, and they are all so annoying with no talent! You want to watch a GOOD musical movie thats WORTHWHILE?!?!? Watch Hairspray, Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory (the old one), The Wizard Of Oz or Dreamgirls. I cant beleive you guys actually liked that horrible movie!! HSM3 & HSM4 are going to be in theaters!!!!!!! it think it is so wierd how EVERY SINGLE GIRL LOVES zac efron! i seriously dont think he is all that good looking and he didnt even sing in the first HSM! (that makes me like him less) but he did sing in HSM2 and Hairspray and actually sounded good! :D

i think HSM1&2 have great songs but both stories are kinda weak. i loved the songs Bet on It and Faboulous on HMS2. I hope the third one will rock even more! I think the dance moves are totally asum!!!!!!! Luved IT!

HSM seems awesome for me but there's one song I hate so much and that's "The status quo" one from the HSM 1. Everything else was soooo cool!

I thought I read somewhere online long ago that they are gonna make 4 movies of HSM. Not 100% sure though. If it's true, then we have 2 more to go.

I loved High School Musical 2!:) I loved the songs sooooo much and can't stop listening to them on my MP3! It was absolutely fantabulous!:)

shea, whoa I read a little about that too. I read that the main characters are not sure about filming and want more money. I didn't read the story, just the headline on a search engine.

But I also looked it up and learned that the director is currently in talk with the main characters like Corbin Bleu, Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens and Zack Efron.

If they leave, there's a chance they risk their career reputation or something. I think. One rumor (read it in a magazine clip but still don't know if its true) I heard Hilary Duff's mom or people wanted more money but the Disney company didn't agree, so that is why she only got to film one movie and that's all for that company.

The cast of HSM should at least wait a little longer before moving on, but hey, it's their decision. :D At least they gave us two great movies to remember.
