I’ve decided to do a solo in the Talent Contest tonight because, frankly, Archie just wasn’t cutting it. He’s adorable, but I personally don’t think his voice is as strong as it was the last time we sang together, and I certainly DON’T want him to embarrass me on stage!!!
I have my outfit picked out. I know how I’m going to wear my hair, and I’m going downtown for a manicure NOW. I am NOT going on stage with chipped nails!
That rat, Reggie, sent me a gift this morning – a big red TOMATO with a note that said, “Dear Veronica, Good luck in the talent contest. I hope you don’t see any of these flying at you! Love ya, Reggie.”
I hear he sent one to Ethel and Dilton and everybody else entered, too. I know what he’s up to; he’s trying to psych us out so we’ll mess up! Well, it won’t work on THIS girl!

I want to be Veronica in the Archie comics. Even though she could mean sometimes. Betty's mean a few times. :)
Town Girl, don't be so harsh on Reggie. He is not a rat, maybe at times he can be one, but not all the time. He IS nice. :) You can see him being kind in a lot of Archie comics. I remember in Jughead with Archie digest #161, Archie had twenty dollars and he was going to use it to buy Veronica flowers (it was an anniversary of when Archie first gave her flowers). Then, Reggie said from the corner of the wall in Riverdale High, "Oh, Archie! How sweet! Har! Har!" Then, Archie told him to clam it up and Reggie said the same back to him. Then, Reggie made a bet with Archie for twenty dollars that he couldn't keep his big trap (mouth) closed for the rest of the school day. And Archie though, "Hmm...With an extra twenty, I could by her flowers and take her out to eat!" So, Archie took the bet! And Reggie said, "Fine! If you speak one word before the final bell, I WIN!" "Remember... no talking or you lose, chump!" Then, Reg though in his mind, "...and Ron will be furious! Then I can ask her out!" Later on, Moose comes up to Archie and says, "Reg says that you asked Midge for a date and that you can't deny it... is it true?" ------"Well...speak up!!" Then, Jughead explains to Moose that Archie can't talk because he made a bet with Reggie. Later on in class, Miss. Grundy asks Archie what the answer was to a question. Then Archie shakes his head trying to tell her that he can't speak, then Miss. Grundy says, "Why are you shaking your head? Is something wrong? Don't you know the answer? Okay...forget it!"
Archie says, "GRR!" in his head and Reggie, also thinking in his head, says, "Ha! Ha! Archie's going to lose this bet yet and make Ron mad at him!" Then Reggie sees Archie behind him shocked and Reggie says, "Yuk! Yuk! What's wrong, Arch? Are you afraid to open your mouth?" In front of Reggie is Svenson cleaning the slippery floor with his mop and there's water all over the floor. Plus, there was a bucket too. Then Archie thinks, "Gulp! Reggie doesn't see that bucket! He could trip and seriously hurt himself!" --- "But if I open my mouth... I LOSE the bet!" Archie waves his arms around crazy and Reggie says, "Yuk! Yuk! What are you waving at, chump?"
Then, Reggie was nearly close to stepping on the bucket and on the slippery floor until Archie yells, "Reggie!! Look out!! Stop!!" Reggie stops and says, "Phew! That was close!" Then Reggie starts laughing and tells Archie that he spoke and says, "Yo! You spoke! You lose the bet! Twenty dollars please!" Then, Jughead says, "He talked to warn you! He saved you from having an accident!" Reggie replies, "Hey! A bet is a bet! Pay up!" And Archie says with tears, "Humph! Here's your money! Now thanks to you, Ron will hate me! SOB!" That night, Archie is at Veronica's door. He rings the doorbell saying, "Some anniversery! No money and flowers! Gulp!" Then, Veronica opens the door and says, "Archie! Darling! Come right in!" Archie confused says, "H-huh?" Veronica continues and says, "You remembered! The roses you had delivered are beautiful!" Archie was even more confused with a question mark hanging over his head. Veronica continues, "Yes! Reggie brought them over!"
Archie confused says, "Reggie?" Reggie was watching them behind a bush. Then, Reggie walks away smiling and says, "A bet is a bet and a debt is a debt! No matter how much it PAINS me, now we're even, Arch, Ol' Chum!" :) And that's the end. Reggie was very kind to do that. :) He may be mean at times, but he's very nice. :)

If you look in the comics, Reggies character is mainly a RAT!
Thats how they wan't him to be!
SOMETIMES Reggie is a quarter less Ratty... But thats just his character!
He wouldn't be Reggie without that RAT! Attitude! Thats what he was ment to be!
Also, I follow the golden rule, but in Bloggy Rules, it says to be nice to the REAL people... These are comic characters!
But it does SEEM real with these blogs!
98% of the time he is his ratty old self!
