I saw a story online this morning and just had to post about it!
Kudos to Nancy Grasmick, a school Superintendent in Maryland, for encouraging her middle and grade school teachers to use comic books in their classrooms! Do you know why I mentioned this? Because she grew up reading US – Archie Comics! Said so right there in the article!
I don’t know how many schools use comics to teach, but if YOURS does, let me know!
Gotta run. Bets and I are appearing for Free Comic Book Day tomorrow and I’m off to get a manicure!

My school doesn't use comic books to teach but one of my teachers puts you two as the perfect role-models to becoming good people!
Nah, my teachers never taught us with comics but I wish!
I guess not many are open-minded.
my teacher would NEVER allow comic books
THats neat! I never am taught with comics but that would be awesome! I read them all the time though and i learned to draw comics through them!
When we talk about healthy, kind, generous people we always bring up you two. She brought a comic book of hers once but never on a regular basis
Yeah none of my teachers would do that, but then im in advanced classes so....
i wish i could say that my teacher's use comic books to teach ... but i can't ... because they don't!
