I am sooooo sorry that some of you couldn’t find a free comic book last Saturday. For everybody who did – Yippee! Hope you are enjoying it.
You know, I live in Riverdale and comics is what I DO, so I guess I figured EVERYBODY had a comic book store in their town! Boy, do I feel DUMB! (And I don’t feel dumb very often!) I did some checking and this is what I found out:
Places like Wal-Mart, Barnes & Noble and Borders don’t participate in Free Comic Book Day, BECAUSE they sell all sorts of books.
Only stores that just sell comic books participate, and then I heard that not all of them do - Bummer!
I’m going to see if I can’t get a list of participating comic book stores before NEXT May’s Free Comic Book Day! I’m also going to see if stores in Canada participate.

Hey Ron! Thanks so much for letting me know! Unfortunatly (sp) I dont think i have a comic book store around where i live! So as sad as this is, i don't know how i would get a free comic book on next freee comic book day! I hope i can find a comic book store thats near me before next may!
You'll check for us Canadians? Wahoo! Woot, woot! Canada rocks (not saying that the U.S doesn't but I'm just a girl that's very proud to be Canadian and am glad that Ron remembered about us!)
Aww, thanks. Here in Canada, there are not many comic stores but there are a lot in Toronto, even through I live near there, I still don't shop anyway but China town =l

That's a good idea! Another place I know where they sell comics too is at "Rite aid." My brother got a lot of Archies today.

It's ok Ronnie. It doesn't matter if all people in America get a free comic. But I can say the people who got some are lucky!

OK I agree with u Canadians.. But what about us poor kids who dont know of any other place for comics exept wally world and barnes n noble etc... I dont know of ANY in Houston...
For 1 thing, I know that stores in Canada participate. I once went to Canada for a wedding, and one of my cousins showed me a comic they got on Free Comic Book day at the mall. Maybe it's the part of Canada you live in? Anyways, that was just something I remembered.
