Well, it’s here. I reaalllly thought this day would never come. But here it is. The Makeover Issue is on sale. People everywhere will be buying it, and reading it, and deciding if they like “them” better than us – the REAL Bets and me.
I wore black to school today. I plan to wear black all week. It’s the only way I know how to show everyone how I feel. Bets is not wearing black. She said she’d going to act just like she always does and hope our fans will come through.
I am not that confident.
I asked Daddy to look into starting our own independent comic, should readers choose “the new” Betty and Veronica over us. I was thinking we could hire out as fashion consultants. That would make fun reading. Or, we could be private investigators – that sounds kinda fun, I guess.
I don’t know. I guess I’ll just wait and see what happens this week.

I really don't like the new look. I always bought archies when ever they came out, but now I'm not so sure. Please keep the classic (and best) versions too!
In the 1950s archies look a bit different than they do now, but this is such a drastic jump.
I don't really like the new comics Ron, the story is good, but I like the classic look much better.
I don't really like the new look, Ron, the classic look is much nicer. The story seems good though, maybe you should ask your dad about using that story in the traditional look in a separet comic book.
Dont worry ronnie you can count on this fan sticking around 4 you The new you and betty look so awful i mean do they have any idea what is an actally good idea for a comic book so i refuse to even look at those fakes so dont worry
ohhh ... ronnie it's gonna be FINE. barely anybody likes this makeover, and after the 4 things are through with, everything will be back to normal :)
i agree ronnie. i don't like the new look at all, and i think it makes you look like you are forty or something... no offense. the classic look is waaaaaay cooler and awesomer that the new one. luv ya! :)

keep your attitude positive, don't let it get u down. about the comic that was stuffed in ur locker, check if there are any fingerprints, and then u will know who did it.

Ron, don't worry about it, go with Bet's "i dont care" attitude! The new comics are sooo hideous that I could hardly stand the preview. You look 40 on the cover and 8 inside! Bets looks awful too and poor Midge looks anorexic!!!!!! and her sweet innocence is gone, cuz she looks gothic!

I have to say that I do NOT like the new "Makeover" Betty & Veronica. These are comics books, NOT graphic novels.
There is something to be said for keeping things the way they are!

the new look of the characters is ok, but how are you going to draw all the details of the face in alot of the box'es? thats going to take a long time drawing them! by the way betty and archie should be together, :P and veronica should be with reggie! betty is perfect for archie they are the best couple.
one thing: You guys are cooler, more confident, definitely our faves- and Management's faves too! They just have some contract with the faux duo, and once it runs out, they will all return to their life in an eggshell on Jupiter. Besides, you would NEVER go out with a bad boy like Nick St. Claire, so you don't have to worry. =) Keep smiling! We're in this together!
