Ronnie- the only person who is the villan here is OPINION. You see, Betty didn't need help, your OPINION was that she did.
You think you did right, Betty's OPINION is that it was totally uncalled for. So now, you just need to listen to everyone elses thoughts- not just yours.

It seemed like you were trying to change betty and thats how it all started so i think thats the reason why people were mad at you. But if you truly were only trying to help her than talk to her about it and let her know that you never meant to change her, you were only trying to help. I agree that what she did on her blog was very mean, but i think she was just upset because people kept trying to change her. I agree with Gypsy that all you should just talk to her and let her know that you only wanted to help.

We all know how you are Ron but Betty knows more than me. You did not have such a good track record on being the good friend but you did do some good things too for Betty.

This thing about Betty's hair style, whoever really did those hairstyles on the billboard, who knows! And I have no idea what your intentions were at first but it does sound like you are trying to help Betty.

The problem seems not from your side but from Betty's. It obviously struck a nerve on Betty and she burst out in a panic mode over hairstyles. It is weird to see Betty like this though. She is usually understanding, caring and reasonable, but this incident made us see a side of her that she usually pushes aside.

So in my opinion, why don't you talk to Betty and tell her how you feel and what you think of all this. Help her (by talking to her.) and most importantly, try to remain calm while you talk to her. She may explode on you but try to understand how she feels. When a person is like this, it's hard to focus on what one is trying to reason about. In other words, saying.

Ijust went to her blog, she said that all this commotion about those ugly pictures made her upset, paranoid and a bit too self-absorbed, as she said, because I wouldn't say anything bad her. She didn't mean to be a jerk. But please talk to her because she didn't want to lose her best friend, which is you Ronnie. So if she comes over or calls you please don't get mad at her, because she is trying to tell you that she is sorry about what she did. Please forgive her.

Veronica, Betty wants to be your freind still. She said that she acted like a JERK. She must be feeling terrible when she said that because that is not usually not like Betty! Personally, I just want you to stop fighting. Here is my advice: I think you should go over to Betty's house and say you still wanna be freinds. I would if that was me and my best freind, Emily.
