So, I was in Pop’s last night with Reggie, when Betty comes storming in and tells me – in front of EVERYBODY – that I am SELF-ABSORBED! Me, self-absorbed, can you believe it?!
Then - before I had time to
say anything – she shoves this paper in my face and yells, “READ THIS!!!” So, I did.
And do you know what it
was? A blog post from Archie Comics Management about our Makeover! I didn’t even know Management HAD a blog! When did this
happen? It seems that everyone in the
free world – BUT ME – knew about it!
Anyway, when I read that
post all kinds of alarms went off in my head. Their statement is DREADFUL! I mean, I think they really ARE
going to replace us!!! You don’t use
phrases like, “tried-and-true duo”
and “they are dear old friends” to
describe your most valued and successful business associates! You use them to describe last season’s
clothes… that are bagged up and headed for the thrift store!
We sound OLD in that post!!! As in comfortable OLD SHOES!!! Scuffed up ugly ones! Probably brown… Eeewwww!!!
I have been so side-tracked
by my lack of bloggy visitors that I just didn’t see this coming. Well, my popularity crisis will just have to
wait…
Betty is right! This IS trouble!

Ronnie, Just forget about popularity, whats the big deal?? Just because your not the most popular person doesn't mean its the end of the world! I hate this whole makeover thing!!! The makeover better not be for real! I like you both how you are! Not the new ugly versions of you and Betty!!! This must stop!
Ronnie, you don't have to worry about anything. I don't think that they'll replace you. Although I am afraid that fans will like the new Betty and Veronica once they see it in comic books, so fans, remember to stay against it! About the whole popularity thing: Put it aside; as long as you're happy with yourself you'll be content.

AHHHHH! DEFINATLY NOT!!! IT LOOKS HORRIBLE!!!! I like as they always have been! why would people want to change a good thing? puh-leese!!
They better leave you alone - I don't believe the makeover is temporary either!!! If they do change you for good, which I have a feeling that's what it's going to end up as, you sue for a lot of money!!!! Like I saw someone say in one blog - if you two were their dear, old friends, they wouldn't change you at all! I say they have rocks in their heads!!!! BIG TIME!!!!
