I can’t believe all the fuss everyone’s making about Valentine’s Day! I mean, NOBODY has bothered to ask if I’M okay. ARCHIE seems be the one getting all the attention!
I’ve been getting teased a lot at school; I try to laugh it off. Miss Grundy has been staring at me over her glasses, and Mr. Weatherbee called me into his office Thursday morning. He didn’t actually say anything to ME; he was on the phone with my dad the whole time.
Speaking of Dad, I think he’s a little miffed at me, too. That hot air balloon I rented got tangled in some trees or something when it landed and it ripped. Now, the balloon company wants HIM to pay for it. I had no idea those things were so EXPENSIVE!
Last night, Dad asked me why I sent Archie flying over Riverdale. I said, “Daddy, it’s Archie! What more do you need to know? He made me angry and I just… lost it!”
And he said, “Are you still mad at him?”
And I said, “Of COURSE!!!”
“Okay, then. Until you cool down, you shouldn’t drive,” he said. “I don’t want you ramming Archie with your car in front of Pop’s.”
I could NOT believe it! Dad took my car keys; he’s NEVER done that before! Reggie is coming by later to pick me up. We’re going to a movie - in Greendale - I don’t want to see all my friends right now.
Betty tried to talk to me at school, and she’s called me like a dozen times, but I don’t feel like talking to her yet. She’ll probably tell me I was wrong.
You don’t agree with her, do you? Just curious.

Veronica, I'm going to say something that you really have to come to terms with - you are a snobby rich girl that no one doesn't particularly like to hang around with. Now, I'm not saying that the girls that are writing in this blog don't like you (we all love you :) ) but I'm saying that what you did to Archie was mean - I have to agree with Betty on this!

Have you ever really stopped to think why you put up with Archie all the time? It seems to me that both you and Betty are more in love with the idea of him than anything. You both set out on every date with him with high expectations, and then he'll inevitably break something, run out of money, or date both of you on the same night.
If you and Betty called a truce -- you're best friends, you should be able to talk this over -- and agreed that neither one of you would date Archie until he finally made a decision, your lives would be much easier. He'd be forced to try and win you over, and would stop taking you for granted like he does now.
You're both young, attractive, bright women who are sure to go far in the world, and you deserve better than Archie's been treating you.
It was a nasty loss of temper, but given Archie's history, he earned it.
I do kinda agree with Betty.... but I mean you made a huge fuss over license plates??!!! I mean it is a really bad.. gift, but it's the thought that counts right?! it seems

Well sorry Ronnie but you really lost it. I know Archie can be kind of well dumb. Betty didn't loose it and I think you desirve to have your car keys taken away. I also think your the one who should be saying sorry to Archie!
It is time for you to grow up, finally.
You have done alot of trouble, especially because you just care about yourself and not anyone else's feelings, especially Archie's, when he had done his best to impress you.
But it will blow over in time - and once you take responsibility for your own actions - and of course, everyone would forgive you and your father will give your car keys back. Good luck.^_^

You know what Veronica? You really need to grow up. I've seen you do some pretty shallow things, but this is by far the worst thing you've ever done. I would be surprised if Archie even talked to you again. You did a mean thing, and you deserved your punishment.

You are such a snobby, bratty rich girl who think that the world revolves around you. If you don't start showing some respect for the people around you, then you might be ignored by everyone. Do something nice to them besides criticzing and bragging.
I've seen you do some pretty shallow and disgusting things but this is one of the worst things you've ever done. I hope that sometime you realize that Archie might have put alot of thought into that present. I'd be surprised if Archie ever talked to you again.
You should stop acting like you're the only person on this earth and pay attention to what you do. Imagine. Put yourself in Archie's position and think about what you've done. Archie must be feeling really bad right now, all thanks to your behavior.
The punishment your dad gave you was right. For what you did, it will cost him a fortune. What will happen when someday your dad goes broke buying you all this stuff? You will find out what it is like to be Archie and Betty.
You have to talk to Archie or Betty again, and try and see what to do. You did a really mean thing to a boy you claimed to love and you should take full responsibilty for that. You shouldn't feel innocent, you should feel guilty for your actions.
I used to think you were cool, but now what you did to Archie changes that.

Well, you might have been wrong for the whole hot air balloon incident, but the gift you recieved was a little bit well, dorky. I'll bet it was shiny, though! Well, I'm home sick from school today! it is TERRIBLE! I have a really bad cough and a fever, so dad kept me home. Ron, I know license plate frames aren't the best gift in the world, but, REALLY! You've got to be my favourite Archie Comics character, and you still are. Archie is my least favourite, but that doesn't excuse what you've done.
Obviously, you lost your cool on Valentines Day! I agree that your punishment wasn't enough. You've disturbed a lot of lives when Archie was in the hot air balloon, especially Archie's. He could have been hurt real bad!
Still, I don't think you care only about yourself because if you did, you wouldn't have given him such a great gift. Walking away from your friends at a time like this isn't the answer! You have to talk things out and apologize!
