SOS!!!!!!!!!!

I actually like the new look. I have checked out not only the first page but the story teaser that they gave us to look at as well. I can't wait 'till the four issue arc comes out. I hope that we get a chance to see what all of our beloved characters would look like if they were sitting on the couch next to me reading their own story. I hope that the made over characters get their own magazine line while all the rest of the Archie comics titles remain cartoonish, for those die hard fans who prefer to imagine what everybody might look like in reality. I know I have tried imagining what Jugheads nose and other characteristics would look like in reality. I have been a fan for almost fifteen years, and now that I am an adult with a job i can actually afforod to go to collectors shops and get old issues. I own several pep comics. I even own the first issue of Jugheads Diner. In case no one else has noticed over the years the artsist rendering of our favorite teens have changed and evolved to be more realistic. (In pep often times the eys were nothing more than dots on the face) While I like the new look I do think that the artist might play around with the looks a little bit in order to give our girls a little more of the accepted idea of their looks. Remember that the whole basis of Betty's look and personality is that she is the girl next door, while Veronica is a sexy fashionista. Also dual pigtails went out of fashion with punky brewster. Betty only has one pony tail and that is one of the signatures of her look. With that said I'd like to take a moment to point out to the execs (who set up this blogging arena for Betty and Veronica in order to check fan response) that if they really wanted a less biased response they might have had Betty like the change while Veronica disliked it, with both girls reserving final opinions until after the four issue spread came out. I'd just like to say one more time that I would really like to see all of the characters in the make over look. I would like to see a portrait of the whole gang all standing in the same frame, perhaps posed for a photograph, or maybe at a party or the beach. Considering how long this comment is if you have actually made it all the way to the end here Thanks for taking the time to read it to the end.

The makeover is HERENDIOUS! I hate it! I hope the editor sees these requests against the makeover and thinks again before they do something so foolish...

I think it should go like marvel. Have normal archie comics and then have a "Ultimate Archie" kind of. One that isn't in the archie universe that has 4 part arcs and realistic drawing. If you do that,please get better art still.

I don't know...some things need to be changed, but overall I think it looks cute. you can see more awesome details than usual, and I think that people don't like it because its not what they're used to. If we had only ever seen the makeover betty and veronica, we might not like the ones we have now,you know?

I hate the new makeover! Yes, it's different and that might be part of the reason why i don't like it. i've always loved that small-town feeling of riverdale and the cute look of betty and veronica, but with this new makeover it makes betty and veronica look like big city girls instead of cute and small-townish. I prefer the old look much better. If it they go ahead with this makeover I doubt I'd want to read it. The old look was cuter and classic. The new look is more realitic but it's not what I'd want to look at while reading it, someone refered to it as looking anime but real anime is even cuter than this new look. PLEASE DON'T CHANGE THEM.

This new look is ridiculous!!! I grew up reading your comics and for them to change the look is absolutely crazy! I hope no one buys the new books because i know I'm not and thats really bad because Ive got almost 6 boxes full of archie, jughead and betty and veronica comics! People, for the sake of Archie Comics and for Riverdale, DO NOT VOTE FOR THIS MAKEOVER! I know that they have made changes in the past for these comics, but these have gone too far! I mean, I remember when I first saw the new magna series for Sabrina & Josie and I remember thinking "Why the heck would they do this? These are not the people I know!"

I saw the new look Veronica said was hedious and it really did make my eyes burn. I cant believe I just found out this morning!!!

Veronica,I want to tell you something important.Why are you fighting with Betty for Archie all the time?I mean if you do not like Archie and if Betty goes out with him,you get very angry.Try to control yourself Veronica.Anything works out if you are going to be patient.If Betty is still going out with Archie,tell her her how much you have affection in him and I hope she will understand it.That way,you learnt to be patient and not being mean all the time!Also try not to fight with Archie just because he goes out with his other girlfriends.You just ignore him.
