Pureheart the Powerful:

Scary Yet Merry
By: Pureheart the Powerful

It was late at night and the stars were up shining as the moon stayed in it's position as grey clouds could past it. Archie, Reggie, Veronica, Betty, and, Jughead each sat down on the thick, medium-sized pieces of logs waiting to hear the scariest story yet. The logs were arranged in a square and circled shape way around the camp fire. While holding sticks with marshmallows stabbed to the end, Archie said, "So, does anybody here know a scary story?"
Jughead chewed off his marshmallow, "Yeah…."
Archie replied, "Great! Let's here it!"
As Betty and Veronica were getting ready to get frightened so that they could cuddle next to Archie, Jughead began to start of his scary-story.
"I was walking alone during midnight towards a room that was pitch-black…" Jughead began.
"And then?" Reggie asked.
"I opened a door and this bright light suddenly blinded me…and there was mist beginning to flow right on-top of the smooth floor…" Jughead said scarily.
Betty bit her lips, "Uh-huh-----?"
Jughead looked around, "The mist made me shiver and when I looked into the small rectangular-room…"
"What!?" Veronica said grabbing Archie's arm.
Jughead screamed, "THERE WAS NO FOOD IN MY REFRIDGERATOR!"
Everybody screamed.
Archie opened his eyes, "Hey, wait a minute, that's not scary."
Reggie laughed, "Some story… even Jellybean can tell a scarier story than THAT."
Veronica said, "Geez…tell us another story… that's ACTUALLY scary."
"Okay, okay. Well, I thought it was scary," Jughead replied. "But I assure you, this next one is the most, horrifying, scariest, ugly, story that you will ever, ever hear…"
Jughead adjusted his red and yellow striped scarf, "It was a sunny typical day in Riverdale, and everything seemed to be fine… until I began to walk at Pop Tate's."
"Pleeeaase… don't tell me that this story ends with you not having anymore money to buy burgers," Veronica sighed.
"No! It's nothing about food, " Jughead said.
"Good," Reggie smirked.
"As I was saying… I began to hear foot-steps walking towards me without a stop. I began to walk faster and faster, but, this person or thing continued to follow me." Jughead shivered as he spoke. "I decided to walk faster and faster, and I didn't even notice that I passed Pop's."
"Did you look back?" Reggie asked.
"NO, that would have been too risky," Jughead replied. "Well, I decided to run, but I still heard the foot-steps. Coming closer…and closer…and closer…."
"Eeeep….then?" Veronica shivered.
Jughead looked around again, "This thing kept on moaning, 'Jughead….Jughead….I'm going to get you!'"
Everybody began to look into the forest to make sure that nothing would appear out of nowhere.
Jughead continued, "It's voice sounded like terror to me, and I began to run faster and faster! I walked into a thin alley made of bricks. So, I kept on running to find a way out. But----- it was a dead-end!"
"Wha---what happened?" Archie asked.
"There was a enormous brick wall in front of me and I bumped into it. I began to walk backwards slowly to see how far up this brick-wall went. Then before I knew it… this thing grabbed my shoulder!"
Betty sat even closer to Archie, "Oh my gosh! What did you do next?"
"I opened my eyes wide and I didn't even want to look back… but I turned my head slowly and gulped…" Jughead replied.
"What did you see?" Archie said biting his nails.
"I----I saw------" Jughead said in suspense.
The rest of the gang was getting ready to scream and said, "Gulp….what---what was it?"
Jughead yelled, "I SAW VERONICA WITHOUT ANY MAKE-UP ON!!!"
"AAAaaah! Then what hap----why Jughead! You jerk!" Veronica shrieked while throwing the marshmallow bag at him."
Jughead ran laughing while holding his beanie tight to his head.
"I don't even think that Jughead KNOWS any good stories." Reggie sighed. "Maybe your scarf is on too tight, Jug. It probably stopped your blood circulations from reaching your brain."
"I do know scary stories!" Jughead said angrily pointing his finger on Reggie's chest. "I know much more scarier stories than you."
"Alright, then prove it," Reggie scoffed.
"Hmph! Fine!" Jughead replied.
As Archie, Reggie, Veronica, and Betty sat down on the logs, Jughead adjusted his beanie.
Jughead began to start his story, "There was a full-moon in the sky glowing and it was midnight. The grey clouds began to swift across the moon while I was sleeping in my nice, comfortable, warm, soft----"
"Enough information about your bed, get on with the story!" Reggie exclaimed.
"Alright, alright," Jughead replied. "I was in my bed sleeping and my parents just went on a vacation to Greece. I smiled as I was sleeping while grabbing my pillow until I heard a 'thump' downstairs."
Archie looked at Jughead, "Did you know what it was?"
Jughead looked back at Archie, "No, I just woke up."
"Oh," Archie replied.
"After hearing that sound, I just put my blanket over my head and I went back to sleep," Jughead continued.
"And then?" Betty asked.
"And then…" Jughead replied. "I forgot the rest."
"What?" Reggie said. "That's it? That's the end?!"
"Haha! Just kidding," Jughead laughed.
The gang groaned, "So, what happened next, Jug?"
"Well, I un covered the blanket on my head. I heard that thumping noise again. I thought I was just imagining something, but later, I didn't think so. I looked away from my room-door and I faced towards the wall. Then, I heard it walking. Slowly---I heard footsteps going towards the stairs."
"What happened, did it eat you up?" Veronica asked in excitement.
"No," Jughead replied, "But, every time I made just one little sound, that thing would come up upstairs one step at a time. I got more scared and then I heard it go up two stairs saying, 'One….two…'"
"Oh my gosh! I would have jumped out of my window!" Betty screamed.
Jughead looked at all of them, "Then, it said, 'three…four…five…six….' and then it stopped. I expected that I was just going nuts. So, I decided to go out of my room to see what the thing was."
"Talk about stupid," Reggie laughed.
Jughead looked at Reggie, "I went out of my room slowly without turning on the light…then I walked downstairs looking down at each step as I walked without looking up. Until I reached the third step."
Archie gulped, "Did---did you see anything?"
"Yeah, I met something alright," Jughead said, "I reached the third step and saw two other feet, with black shoes on, facing towards my feet."
"Er….then?" Reggie said pretending not to be scared.
"I looked up slowly…and….then, and then I saw----------" Jughead said spookily.
"And then?" Archie gulped.
"And then I woke up," Jughead finished as he smiled. "I guess it was all just a bad dream."
"I knew you didn't know any scary-stories! This is boring! You're going to wish that this was all a bad-dream!" Reggie smiled as he put his fist in one hand.

THE END

Archie, Jughead, Reggie, Betty, and Veronica finally reached the top of the hill, after two grueling hours of hiking up to it.
“I don’t know why you had to pick a tall hill for our campsite, Archie,” Reggie gasped, as he lay down on the ground.
“Yeah Arch! Man, I’m hungry!” Jughead searched in his knapsack for something edible to eat. “Aw, nuts! I ate all my five peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and drank my three juice boxes on the way up here!”
“Oh forget your petty problems! Just look at my hair! And my French manicure is horribly chipped!” Veronica examined her unusually dirty hands. “Is there a salon anywhere here?”
“Of course not, Ron! That’s the beauty of it! There’s nothing here except for what nature provides for us!” Archie answered, breathing in the pine scent.
“I don’t see anything beautiful about that,” Veronica mumbled.
“Okaaaay… shall we put up the tents?” Archie grabbed a blue tent and began struggling to open it.
“Here, let me do it.” Betty grabbed the tent and in a few minutes the tent was up!
“Wow Bets. You’re really good at that!” Archie exclaimed.
“Well I did go to plenty of summer camps when I was little,” Betty blushed.
“Puh-leez! Anyone can put up a tent. Watch and learn!” Reggie pulled open Betty and Ron’s pink tent and got tied up by the strings. He struggled with the tent until he tripped on a rock and fell on his stomach.
“I’m watching Reg, but I ‘aint learnin’!” Jughead said as the rest of the gang erupted with laughter.
“Shut it, needle nose!” Reggie snarled.
And so Betty wound up putting up the pink tent as well.
“Okay so what do we eat?” Jughead asked as he helped Betty and Archie make the fire.
“What else but marshmallows?” asked Archie, happily.
“Marshmallows?! Eeeyuck! I’ll have some caviar and French bread and for dessert, Toffee Swiss Cake.” Veronica smoothed her cream-colored shorts and sat on a log, ready for her five-star meal.
“Um, Ron, we don’t have caviar or cake… so you’ll hafta---”
“Eat marshmallows! Like the rest of us!” Reggie snatched the marshmallow bag out of Archie’s hand and stuffed his hand inside.
“Are you serious?!*sigh* I suppose I can’t starve…” So the gang gathered around the fire and began cooking their stale marshmallows.
***
After they ate they began getting ready to sleep.
“Are you sure you attached the ‘Special Scent-a-Way’ tent freshener that eludes bears and other wild animals?” Jug asked Archie, referring to a small bottle that hung on the tents by string.
“Huh? Oh yeah! Of course,” Archie answered, not sure of his answer at all.
“Well I think we better turn in. We have a big day ahead of us!” Archie smiled and went into the boys’ tent.
“What did he mean ‘big day’?” Betty asked nervously.
“Who knows. But coming from Archie, you know it’ll turn into a ‘big’ mess!” Reggie answered following Archie into the tent.
“G’nite girls,” Jug said zipping up the blue tent.
“Good night!” they both answered back.
“Hey, what’s that aroma? It smells like hamburger.” Ron sniffed the air.
“Say! You’re right. I bet Jug was cooking something for himself.” Betty giggled and zipped up their tent as well.

***
“D-do you hear that?” Veronica rubbed her sleepy eyes and tuned in to the scratching noise outside their tent.
“Y-yeah…wh-what is it?” Betty reluctantly got up and moved closer.
“I-I don’t know! Do you think it’s a bear?!”
“No way! Remember the freshener Archie put on the tents? And anyways, the noise sounds too light for a bear,” Betty answered confidently.
“Th-then wh-what could it b-be?” Ron shuddered at the thought of a snake. Or a bat, or maybe even a huge spider! But whatever it was, it certainly wanted to get in the tent!
“I bet it’s the boys! You know how they’re always waiting to pull a prank on us ‘helpless’ girls!”
“Yeah! C’mon! Go open the tent! We’ll surprise them!” Ron giggled.
“Right.” Betty slowly edged to the zipper and began unzipping. As soon as she had unzipped half the tent, a skunk jumped in!
“EEEEEEEEK!!!!!” the girls screamed and scrambled out of the tent, slipping on the pillows and comforters.
“WHAT HAPPENED?!” the guys came scurrying out of their own tent, horrified.
“Th-there’s a skunk I-in our t-tent!!” Ron hurried behind Archie using him as a shield against the skunk.
“Maybe it’ll come out if we scare it,” Reggie suggested, studying the pink tent for any movements.
“Are you crazy Reg?! Oh, hold on, I know you are…but we can’t scare it! It’ll stink up our whole campsite!” Jughead told him quite sternly. Quite un-Jugheadish.
“Jug’s right. Maybe if we all stand here, it’ll leave,” Archie suggested.
“I’m not! I gotta go get my sleep!” Jughead began walking but Reggie got hold of his shirt.
“No way! If we have to stand here so do you!” Reggie exclaimed.
“But Archie, I still don’t understand. I thought you put that freshener to elude beasts from our campsites,” Betty asked, confused.
“I did. Or at least…I think I did.”
“ARCHIE ANDREWS!!!!” Veronica screamed so loudly that the skunk took off out of their tent in a flash…leaving behind its signature scent of course.
“Aw nuts! That reeks!” Reggie pulled his T-shirt up to his nose.
“This is going to be a long night.” Archie sank into the ground.
***
“C’mon guys! Wake up!” Archie said shaking all four snoozers that were lying on then cold earth.
“Wh-what time is it?” Veronica asked lifting her head a little.
“Who knows and who cares! C’mon let’s start early we have a long way to go!” Archie clipped his knapsack on his back and shook the gang for the sixth time.
“Long way to go where?!” Jughead bolted right up.
“Shucks, Jug! You know! We’re going hiking in the forest to see some wild life.” Archie adjusted the camera that was around his neck.
“I think we’ve already had enough wild life,” Betty said grouchily, reminiscing about the other night.
“Oh c’mon guys! The skunk is long gone! C’mon! COME ON!!”
“OKAY!” Reggie stood up and strode to their empty tent.
***
“I’m *gasp* so tyyyyyyred…,” Betty panted as they reached for their campsite once again.
“I have nooo idea why I let Arch talk me into these things!” Jughead sat on a stray rock and dove into his knapsack that was full of berries.
“Ugh! I still have some berry goo on my legs and I’m filled with mosquito bites!” Veronica whined.
“You think your’s is bad?” Reggie challenged, “I got stung by a bee and a deer chased me through and out of the forest!!”
“Ha! Ha! That scene was almost worth coming down here!” Jug laughed.
“And I got some great pictures!” Archie said, finally arriving. “C’mon guys, lighten up! We still have so many other things to do! We have to go canoeing in Justintimber Lake and---”
“No way! No way Archie! I am not going anywhere else, except for my house!” Veronica cried sternly.
“Yeah! Sorry Arch but I can’t take it here!” Reggie added.
“Year Arch. Whenever we’re with you, something always goes wrong.” Jug said, picking up his things.
“It’s okay Archiekins, but things really do go wrong with you,” Betty agreed, patting Arch on the shoulder sympathetically, as she left with the rest of the gang.
“You know, why I’m not surprised?” Archie asked (looking at us!).
“ ‘cuz it’s the story of my life!”

Jamilee-Bad Camping Place (PART 2)

Day 6 Jamilee 10:30a.m.
We are writing less and less. The reason is that many of our things have gone missing and we are trying to replace them. Today our breakfast and lunch have gone missing. Some one is hungry on this island. UH-OH Veronica just screamed. Be back in a second----------------------------------back! Veronica lost a few clothes! That means the mystery man is a girl. We are going to investigate this right after breakfast.
BETTY COOPER-JUNGLE GIRL!!
~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~

After Breakfast
"Well who do you think is taking our stuff?" Jughead asked biting on his t-shirt.
"Eww! Jughead stop that!" Veronica said moving away from him.
"I can't help it I'm hungry!" Jughead moaned.
"Well we'll split up and look for clues!" Betty said standing up.
"Yeah!" Archie cried.
They walked a short distance until they came to many different paths.
"Now what?" Reggie asked.
"We split up now." Betty said.
"Betty and Veronica and Me, Juggy and Reg." Archie suggested.
"Great!" Betty smiled, "But the only problem is that there are three routes!"
"Ok then.....Bets and Ron, Reg and Jug and I go alone!" Archie suggested again.
"NO! WE stick to the first plan! We can search the thrid later!" Betty said, "Meet back here at 12:00 noon. If you're not we will come to find you."
"Suppose we are a little late? Can we start searching at 12:30p.m.?" Archie asked.
"Welll.....alright!" Betty said.
They seperated.

BETTY AND VERONICA

"I hope we don't meet any snakes on the way!" Veronica said tugging on her hair nervously.
"There are no snakes found here!" Betty said as she walked past Veronica.
"Hey don't leave me behind!" Veronica shrieked.
"What ever you do don't let go of my hand!" Betty said.
They caught each others hands and gripped them.
"I'm too beautiful to die!" Veronica moaned after a few mintues.
"Be quiet! I can hear something." Betty said crouching down.
"What?" Veronica asked as she bent down next to Betty.
Betty pushed the bushes back and out popped a monkey. THe girls screamed and fell back.
"Oh it's only a monkey." Betty said pushing herself up.
"ONLY A MONKEY?" Veronica shrieked.
"AWWWW! It's sooo cute!" Betty said.
Veronica sat up.
"Get up lazy pants! We have got to keep looking." Betty said.
She held out her hand for Veronica.
The walked a few steps.
"I think some one is following us!" Veronica said squeezing Betty's hand.
Betty turned around.
"The monkey is following us." Betty said smiling, "It wants to accompany us."
"Ok then come along Lily!" Veronica said tunring around.
"Lily?" Betty asked.
"She has got to have a name. So why not be Lily?" Veronica asked as she held out her hand to the monkey.
Betty pulled it back.
"It's wild remember? She might bite you." Betty told her, "Let her follow us!" They turned around again and continued to make there way through the trees.
After a few minutes-
"I think I see our napsack on that tree." Betty cried as she squinted her eyes.
"Well climb it then!" Veronica said.
Betty made her way up the tree.
"It's definately the cover." Betty cried.
She threw it down for Veronica to catch.
She climbed back down.
"I hope the boys are more lucky than us!" Veronica said to Betty.

ARCHIE, REGGIE AND JUGHEAD

"Have you found anything on your side Jughead?" Archie asked.
"Nope not yet." Jughead called back.
"Let's take a break." Reggie siged as he sank down below a tree.
"Why are you taking a break? WE were doing all the work." Archie said annoyed.
"Reggie's right! We should take a break." Jughead said.
"Oh ok." Archie said sitting down beside Jughead.
WHACK
"OUCH!" Reggie moaned rubbing his head.
Archie and Jughead jumped up.
"Monkeys!" Archie screamed.
They were every where glaring at the boys.
"I think we diturbed there beauty sleep." Jughead gulped.
One monkey picked up a coconut took aim then fired it at Reggie. Reggie ducked at it hit the tree behind him.
Then the war began.
Each monkey now had one coconut in each hand.
WHACK. WHACK. WHACK. WHACK.
"Let's get out of here." Archie cried.
The boys started to run.
"Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!" Reggie cried again and again.
They finally reached the end of the monkey territory.
"Ouch.....that was the last one." Reggie sighed.
His head had many bumps on them. But Archie and Jughead had many more.
"I hope the girls aren't with any monkeys." Archie said.

BETTY AND VERONICA

"Lily!" Veronica said sinking down under a tree.
Lily, their pet monkey, had just brought them a banana each to refresh them.
"How sweet!" Betty cooed.
Betty looked at her watch.
"It's 10 minutes to 12 we better leave." Betty said getting to her feet. Veronica got up as well.
They turned around and started to walk back.
Finally 15 minutes later they reached the pathway in which they had split up.
"12:30." Veronica reminded Betty.
"Yeah yeah." Betty sighed as she leant against a tree.
A few minutes later the boys appeared covered with bruises.
"I hope we have a first aid kit." Veronica said.

BACK AT CAMP
"Speaking of monkeys meet our new pet monkey Lily." Veronica grinned.
Lily came out from behind Veronica.
Reggie screamed.
"Perfect blackmail!" Veronica smiled.
"Can we have lunch?" Jughead asked.
Betty took out the left over of their dinner and split it up.

Day 6 Jamilee 3:00p.m.
Reggie is scared of monkeys can you believe it? Lily is sooo cute! I can't believe Reg is scared of him. I wonder what Mom and Dad are doing at home. Not worrying about me I hope. Camping out here was a brilliant idea. It must have been Mr. Joker's idea. Lily is no trouble at all. She goes to find food for herself at the meal times that way we don't have to feed her. I'm glad because Jughead would have killed her by now. I have to go now Veronica wants to write.
Bets

Day 6 Jamilee 3:10p.m.
Lily Lily Lily Lily. I just LOVE Lily! I think after half an hour Arch, Juggy and Reg will get up. We will then party!! We have got food from the jungle thanks to LILY! Now only to find a spring.
VERONICA

Day 7 Jamilee 10:00a.m.
We stayed up late partying! It was AWESOME! I better get Betty up.
Veronica

~)~)~)~)~)~)~)~)~)

"BETTY!" Veronica cried shaking Betty.
"Huh?! What?" Betty said rubbing her eyes.
"Get up!" Veronica screamed in Betty's ear.
"Found a spring?" Betty asked sitting up, "I hate being sweaty and not able to have a bath."

Yeah I have! Now get up." Veronica told Betty as she exited the tent.
Betty pulled on her sweater and followed her.
"Lily will lead you there! She took me there too I had a bath." Veronica said as Lily ran to her.
“What? Why not you?” Betty asked.
“I have to be here when the boys get up otherwise they will be worried.” Veronica said.
Betty sighed.
“Ok. Lily lead the way.” Betty said.
Lily disappeared into the trees, Betty ran after her taking a towel and a new set of clothes.
Veronica smiled after them.
Lily ran fast with Betty lagging behind.
“Slow down Lily.” Betty panted.
Lily stopped suddenly. She took a right. Betty followed. But little did she know that she was going the wrong way.
“What is this?” Betty said as saw a small camp site.
Lily pointed at one of the tents. Betty pushed her way passed a few branches and crept into the tent.
“Good! No one is here.” Betty thought.
On the floor of the tent there was a video camera with a cassette lying near it. Betty pushed it into the camera and hit play.
“Hey this is us! Some one has been recording our every move!” Betty whispered.
“Hey Boss! We’ve got a visitor.” A voice cried from behind her.
Betty turned around. There was a man at the entrance of the tent. There was no escaping this. A few men appeared beside the man and took hold of Betty.
“Ah there you are Lisa!” One of the men cried, “Did you bring this girl here?”
Lily (Lisa) nodded.
“You naughty girl.” The man cooed.
“That’s Lily.” Betty cried.
The man ignored her.
“Take her out of the tent! We need to talk to her.” The man said bending down so that Lisa could climb up.
Meanwhile, Veronica…
“Wonder where Betty is!” Veronica thought as she put the plates onto the sand, “It’s been over and hour! I thought she would take a few minutes. I guess I was wrong.”
“Hey, Ronnie!” Archie yawned as he stepped out of the tent with Reggie and Jughead following.
“Where’s Betty?” Jughead asked.
“She went for a bath.” Veronica replied.
“ALONE?” Archie cried opening his eyes wide.
“Yeah, anything wrong?” Veronica asked looking at Archie curiously.
“No nothing…you know which direction she went?” Archie asked picking up his plate of food.
“Yeah, Lily guided me there. Now, she’s doing the same for Betty.” Veronica replied.

~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~

Day 7 Jamilee 12:30p.m.
Betty is missing. She’s been gone for over 2 hours even I can’t take a bath for that long! I wonder where she is. Maybe she is hanging over a cliff. Maybe she’s been kidnapped by tribal people and is now being boiled in a pot of water. UGH! I can’t think of worse things…Oh Betty please be alright.
Veronica…

~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~

“We’ve waited long enough for Betty.” Archie said losing all his patience, “We have got to go and search for her. Veronica, lead the way.”
Veronica got up and walked through the first row of trees. She looked back to find the boys behind her.
“Come on…faster.” Archie urged her.
Veronica walked to where Lisa stopped but she, then, took a left.
“Here it is.” Veronica said pointing through a few bushes.
They walked to the small spring. No Betty was to be found.
“It’s official she’s LOST.” Archie cried.
Veronica sank down to her knees.
“I didn’t think…” Veronica said putting her hands to her face.
“Get up…We have no time to cry. We have to find Betty where ever she is.” Archie said in a severe voice.
Veronica looked at him with a tear stained face.
“Archie’s right! We came here with Betty and we are going to leave with her.” Reggie said confident of their success.
“Wait here! I’ll go and get our lunch.” Veronica told them.
“No! First things first no one goes ANYWHERE on the own.” Archie said.
“Reg, come with me.” Veronica said pulling him.
They came back in a few minutes, holding a picnic basket filled with food.
1 HOUR LATER…
“Where is Betty?” Archie cried.
“WE need a break.” Jughead said.
“No breaks! Betty has to be found.” Archie said.
“Archie, listen to me! We will find her but we will continue only after we have our lunch.” Jughead said pushing Archie down.

Day 7 Jamilee 3:00p.m.
We all are taking a break AGAIN. Jughead and Veronica are sleeping. Reggie is collecting fruits from the bush next to them. WE haven’t found Betty yet. I wonder where she is. She can’t be far.
Arch.

Day 7 Jamilee 3:10p.m..
Reg here! I am so bored! I wish Betty was here then I can go back to the beach and build that sand castle.
Reggie

~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~

“We better head back.” Archie said looking at his watch, “It’s already 7:00p.m. and it’s getting dark.”

Veronica

Day 8 Jamilee 8:00a.m.
I put Ronnie to sleep. She’s very frightened (I read her entry). I better get breakfast ready.
Arch…

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

“I can’t find our stuff.” Archie said looking into Veronica’s knapsack.
Veronica pushed him aside and looked in it herself.
“I’m GOING MAD!” Veronica screamed.
Jughead slapped her.
“Thanks I needed that.” Veronica sighed.
“We need a break!” Archie said, “Today WE ARE NOT GOING TO SEARCH FOR BETTY!”
Veronica fainted.
“Harsh!” Reggie said looking at her.
Archie poured water onto her.
“Archie, how dare you!” Veronica cried.
“We are going to have a day of fun.” Archie said determined to feel happy.
“Where is our diary?” Veronica asked.

~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~

Day 9 Jamilee 12:00 noon
Betty here! You’ve guessed it! These men have been stealing The Archies stuff! Now you’re wondering why I’m just sitting here doing nothing (no I’m not locked up). These men work for a TV show called survival. Lisa guided me here by mistake. So now instead of being a part of the show I’m now the crew!
Betty

~&~&~&~&~&~&~&~&~&~&~&~

“It’s day 10!” Veronica announced, “The last day of our troubles! Now we can send out a search party!”

~_~_~_~*~*~*~*~_~_~_~*~*~*~*~

Day 10 Jamilee 10:00a.m.
We’ve been here a long time! But not writing at all! Well, we are going to surprise The Archies by sending me in the same plane that took us here. That’ll scare them.
Betty ?

~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~

“I can here the plane.” Veronica shrieked.
Archie put the last flashlight into their bag.
“OVER HERE!” Veronica screamed.
The plane landed in the small opening.
“CONGRATULATIONS! YOU MADE IT A WEEK ON SURVIVAL!” Betty cried jumping out of the plane.
“BETTY?” Veronica cried.
“You just won 10, 000 dollars!” Betty said smiling.
Veronica slapped Betty.
“You know how worried we’ve been?” Archie asked her.
“I know I know but I had too! They made me!” Betty said pointing at a group of men. Out of it emerged Mr. Lodge.
“DADDY, you’re here?” Veronica screamed.
“Now I know you can live alone without any maids!” Mr. Lodge joked.
“Daddy…” Veronica said tearfully.
“Veronica, dear this was for the Archies!” Mr. Lodge said, “Now you can new instruments!”
“Do you have a piece of wood?” Jughead asked.
“A piece of wood? Yeah, it’s at the back of the plane.” Mr. Lodge said staring at Jughead.
He ran into the plane. A few minutes later he came back out. He pushed the piece of wood into the ground. It said-
WARNING FOR CAMPERS-JAMILEE IS BAD CAMPING PLACE BUT A GOOD PLACE TO BE ON TV!

THE END………………….
hope you like it.......my story.....NAME: SURVIVAL ON JAMILEE

Phua E Z:

I woke up and the first thing I saw was the sun rising. It was really nice, soft and majestic. I quickly ran to the bathroom and brushed my teeth then bath.
Today, the gang and I were going to Lake Breeze. Jughead volunteered to bring most of the food, Archie wants to bring the drinks, Reggie the bread, Ronnie is bringing egg salad for the bread and I’m bringing the marshmallows and biscuits.
After that, I carefully put my tent into my duffel bag, and then I put the food inside. Putting the food is really tricky for I might squish it. But I and dad go to campfires a lot so that was easy.
After the food, I started packing my Frisbee, volleyball and my fishing rod. I and the gang always want to play “captain ball”. I and Ronnie always volunteer to be the captain.
After I pack, I said a bye to my parents and put my bag in the boot.
The gang and I agreed to meet at Pops. On the way to Pops, I stopped at the supermarket. I bought extra drinks just incase Archie forgets them.
At Pops, I saw that Ronnie and Archie were already there. They put their bags into the boot and we waited for Juggie and Reggie. And you know what? Archie didn’t forget a thing!
We had to wait very long but we’re now at Lake Breeze. We’re going home tomorrow morning. The boys played Frisbee while Ronnie and I fish. We caught…actually I caught a lot of fish while Ronnie didn’t because she was too busy talking on her cell phone. When we went back to the campsite, we started playing volleyball. Ronnie and I against Archie and Reggie. Well, I and Ronnie won while Reggie argued with Archie for his clumsiness.
We had our tents put up and we started to cook the fish I caught. Luckily, Ronnie brought paper plates for us to eat the fish properly. Then, we made mores out of the marshmallows and biscuits I brought. Jughead ate the most, as usual… We started to tell ghost stories until Reggie went to his tent to sleep. We still continued to tell ghost stories until Ronnie saw a great big bear! Reggie was still snoring loudly from his tent so it couldn’t be him! We ran around in circles until the bear hit a bee hive with its head. The bees flew over to the bear until it (the bear) jumped into the lake and waited till the bees flew away.
The bees managed to sting the bear until Archie and Juggie went to the lake and rescue the bear. But, when they got there, they started laughing madly…I know why, that’s because it wasn’t a bear, it was Reggie! Reggie’s face was full of spots and we couldn’t stop laughing. It seems that Reggie put a recording of his snoring into his tent.
The next day when we had to go home, we all still could laugh at Reggie….it was too funny! On the way home, I said: Serves you right, you rogue you!
And it does, do it?

The Gang was sitting around the camp fire on one of the last few days of summer. After a dinner of hot dogs and pop they settled in for a night of camp fire stories and S'mores. Jughead of course was in charge of bringing the food and brought loads of marshmallows, chocolate and graham crackers. So after everybody had made a s'more they all sat down and each told a memory they had of growing up. The story Chuck told was of the first day of Kindergarten. They were five years old and they had a teacher called Ms. Burgandy. She was very nice and friendly and you could talk to her about anything. Anyway she had this activity for all the classmates to get to know each other. Each student pulled out a name from a hat and that student would have to find out information about that other person and present their findings to the class. Betty had Chuck and learnt that he loves to draw and his dad is a high school gym teacher. While Chuck learnt that Betty has a older sister and she enjoys shopping, baking and camping. Next Veronica and Reggie presented. Reggie learnt that Veronica loved to travel first class around the world, shopping and hanging out with Betty. While Veronica learnt that Reggie loves looking at himself in the mirror, playing pranks on his friends and hanging out at Pops. Ethel was next, she learnt about Moose. She learnt that Moose likes to chase Reggie, play football. Moose learnt that Ethel likes to chase Jughead, hang out with friends and shop. Archie presented Jughead and he learnt that Jughead likes to eat, eat and eat some more, hang out at Pops and hang out with Archie. Jughead learnt that Archie likes to eat, camp, bike and hang out with Jughead. Ever since that day they have all hung out together.
Back at the campfire no one else remembered that story of how they all met. Betty mentions how it is great that Archie remembered that story. They had all been together for so long that it was like they were from the same family.

Town Girl:

The Best Campfire Story Ever!
By Town Girl
Part 1
Betty was packing...
Goggles, check! Swimsuit, check! Towels check! Matches, check!

Betty was packing for a camping trip to Hollow Woods!

Luckily for Veronica, it was a decent place to camp!

Ding Dong! The doorbell rang...

Betty answered the door...

Oh Archie! Betty exclaimed happily.

I'm just finishing up packing! Come in!

Hello Betty! Archie exclaimed.

Veronica is still packing, Jug is finished...

And every body else is almost done! Archie explained.

Oh! Well that's good! Replied Betty... I just need a few more things on the list!

Betty finished packing...

Later...

Hi Veronica! Midge, Nancy, Chuck, Moose, Reggie, Dilton, Jughead, Ethel! Betty greeted every one...

Hi Bets! Veronica exclaimed...

Archie... I hope you didn't forget the map! Betty told him.

Don't worry! I have it all here! Said Archie, patting his huge tote.

Alright... Should we hit the road? Asked Nancy...

Let’s go! Decided Midge.

The gang hoped in Archie's huge truck... And hit the road!
Later...

Archie... Are you SURE you know where you’re going? Questioned Veronica.

Yes, yes! I know! Exclaimed Archie.

Hmmm... It's not correct! There’s no ancient pine tree! Dilton called from the back.

Oh no! Betty noticed Archie was holding the map, UPSIDE DOWN!

Archie! Archie! WAIT! Betty called.

Archie was nearing a cliff... Wait!

Part 2

The truck was tipping...

STOP! STOP! Every one called...

I can't! Archie explained...

The truck began to fall...

Gang? Archie asked.

Yeah Arch? Replied Chuck...

This truck is a rental! Archie yelled...

That just made every one scream MORE!

Help! Help! Veronica called... Clinging to Archie...

Calm down Veronica! Exclaimed Betty... If we do fall, we will land in the water!

Every one looked down, then SCREAMED!

That's too far to land!

It's a 50 foot fall! Calculated Dilton...

Duh... Is NOW a time to do math? Moose asked.

We are falling! Reggie reminded them.

AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

The truck fell down....

SPLASH!

Help! We are sinking! Ethel cried...

Not even a triple cheese burger can make this better! Admitted Jughead.

Every one! Get out of the truck! I have a life boat! Gasped Betty. STEER!

Later...

After 3 hours of steering, the gang FINALLY reached land!

They all got off their boat and climbed up a sandy beach like place.

I will NEVER set a FOOT on water again! Veronica sighed... Falling on to the ground...

Guys? Archie asked.

What NOW? Asked Reggie.

I lost the bags when we fell! Archie explained...

ARCHIE!!! Every one yelled.

Except Betty.

Come on every one! We came here to camp, and that is EXACTLY what we are going to do! Betty told every one.

But how are we going to get home? Asked Chuck.

Think about that later! Ordered Betty. We are going to have a good time!

But we are stranded! Midge reminded her.

Duh... Yeah, there's no one here except us! Moose added.

We will camp with what we have! Betty Decided...

But I have one question... Hesitated Jughead...

And what's that? Betty questioned him.

How will we EVER hope to get home if Archie forgot to tie the life boat? Jughead asked...

Every one turned, and saw the life boat going out to sea...

What will we do now? Asked Nancy.

What we ARE TO do! CAMP! Betty replied.

Jughead, start looking for food! Dilton! Go with him! Nancy! Chuck! Start building!

Veronica! Scout the beach! Reggie! Look for wood! Moose! Midge! Start finding supplies! Ethel! Look for water! Every one! GET TO WORK!!!!!!!!!! Betty instructed.

What about me? Archie asked.

Come with me! Betty instructed.

Archie obeyed.

I managed to keep 2 fishing rods! Betty explained. If we can catch some fish, we can cook it! Betty explained.

Let’s go! Archie exclaimed.

So he and Betty went fishing...

Meanwhile...

Bananas! Jughead exclaimed! Relieved.

I found some coconuts! Dilton called...

Hey Dilt? Jughead asked.

Yeah? Dilton replied.
Are these berries okay? Questioned Jughead...

Noo! Jug! Don't touch that! It's a milaro berry!

The most deadly berries heard of! Dilton explained.

Whoa! Exclaimed Jughead, backing away, good thing Betty told you to come with me!

These are okay! Macadamia nuts and pineapple! Pointed out Dilton.

YUM! Exclaimed Jughead. Let’s go tell the others!

Dilton and Jughead went back the way they came, carrying as much as possible!

Mean while...

Nancy and Chuck, the artists were putting together a small hut.

Does this look right to you Chuck? Asked Nancy.

That's correct! Chuck replied.

Nancy was trying to tie the sticks together with LONG leaves. They had managed to build it to Moose’s height.

I think we will need moose to help with the roof though! Decided Chuck.

How many do we need to build? Asked Nancy, working on the second hut.

If we have 11 people, they can fit in to four, because they are wide!

That means 3 people in 3, and 2 people in one of them! Calculated Nancy.

We should make the last one for Moose! He would take up more room!

True! Agreed Nancy.

She sighed as she began to work on the third....

Mean while....

Veronica was looking for supplies along the beach...

Hmmph! Some vacation! Thought Veronica.

She found a rusted fishing pole, and even a survival kit?

All of what she found was old, but useful.

Even some bags with supplies! Although it wasn't their bags, it would be useful!

Veronica ran back to tell the others!

Mean while...

Reggie was looking for wood near the trees.

Ah! Thought Reggie. WOOD!

Reggie headed towards the trees and collected all the wood he could find on the ground...

I don't think that's enough! Reggie decided.

He began taking some branches of the tree...

Strange looking tree, Reggie thought. As he collected as much wood that he could possibly carry.

I better find every one and show them how much I have got! Thought Reggie, as he walked back...

Mean while...

Moose and midge were looking for things they could use for daily things, like tooth brushes!

Duh... Midge? How could a fish bone help us? Moose questioned.

It's not just a fish bone; it's a comb for the girls! Replied Midge.

Oh! I get it! Moose exclaimed, as Midge demonstrated by combing her hair with it.

Duh... But what will we do for toothbrushes and tooth paste? Asked Moose.

That's what I’m trying to figure out! Replied Midge.

I guess we can rinse our mouths out with the water, and go swimming to rinse off! Midge decided.

Duh... Good idea Midge! Moose agreed. We will be here for a whole week after all!

We can figure out what to do later! Let's go find the others! Decided Midge

Mean while... (Last one!)

How am I EVER going to find any water besides the ocean water? Thought Ethel.

Who knew that cliff led to the ocean? Wondered Ethel.

Sighing. Ethel tripped on something...

Huh? A big bag? Wondered Ethel.

When Ethel looked in the bag, she jumped for joy!

Water! Dozens of bottles! Enough to last a WHOLE week!

And toothpaste, and new packages of toothbrushes?

Ethel turned, to see a skeleton lying, with camping clothes on.

EEEK! Screeched Ethel.

I will count these LATER!

And so....

Betty! Archie! Every one called.

Huh? Betty and Archie turned around from fishing.

Betty smiled. Great work gang!

Duh... That's a lot of fish you caught! Exclaimed Moose.

Yeah! Agreed Jughead. We have lots of food!

And we finished building! Added Nancy.

I found some useful things along the beach! Veronica told all of them.

Every one did a wonderful job! Praised Betty.

Now finally... We can start camping! Betty Exclaimed!

Part 3

Betty, Veronica, Midge, and Nancy were working on their tans, on the small chairs Nancy and Chuck had built together.

I can't believe it, but this is the life! Exclaimed Veronica happily.

See? Betty said. I knew once we got business done, every thing would turn out fine!

Yeah! Agreed Ethel. But where are we? I found this...Lost traveler... And macadamia nuts? Where did they get those?

Somebody must have been here before us! Midge replied.

But still... Where are we? Hawaii? Asked Ethel.

Hawaii would take MUCH longer to get to! Betty reminded her.

Hmmm... True! Agreed Ethel... But we must be on some tropical island!

Uh... I don't want to think about it! Sighed Veronica.

Well we should go in for a dip in the water! Suggested Betty.

Good idea! Agreed Ethel.

And grab a snack before Jughead eats it all! Giggled Midge.

So the girls headed to the shallow water, where the boys were hopelessly trying to make a surfboard out of sticks and leaves!

No Reggie! You’re supposed to get large sticks with curves on each end! Protested Archie...

Says who? Reggie asked. My sticks are perfectly fine!

Boys! How are you going to make a board out of those sticks and leaves?
Questioned Veronica.

Well... we need some vines too! Archie Archie explained.

Betty laughed...

I made surfboards when I was in grade school! Let me show you! Offered Betty.

Wow! Thanks Betty! Archie said happily as Betty began to make MANY surfboards for them!

Oh look! Midge giggled. Jughead is headed to the snack... Stick table!

Jughead was indeed... Stuffing himself with fruit, and nuts!

What? Jughead asked. Seeing the girls staring at him.

I have to keep my strength up at a hot place like this!

The girls burst out laughing!

Duh... Hey! What are you making Dilton? Moose questioned.

The Sun Turbaned Winged Boat! Dilton replied.

It's powered by the sun reflecting on it! It should get us back home after vacation is over! Dilton explained.

Oh! I get it! Exclaimed Moose.

While the girls were taking a walk on the beach...

Hey Nancy! There you are! Exclaimed Betty.

Thank goodness you and Chuck are okay!

Yes we are fine! Replied Nancy. We are experimenting on paint colors with berries mixed with water! Nancy explained.

Sounds interesting! Commented Betty...

It is! Nancy exclaimed.

We should be headed back Chuck! Nancy said, shocked.

It's getting late!

Your right! Agreed Chuck. Let’s go!

So the gang went in to the huts they made, and fell asleep on their leaf beds.

Part 4

On the second day, they had a surfing contest! Betty won!

Go Betty! Every one cheered.

Thanks you guys! Betty exclaimed happily.

On the third day, they tested Dilton's Sun Turbaned Wing Boat. They took turns riding it all day! But Archie forgot to tie it! Again!

ARCHIE!!! Everybody chased Archie...

On the fourth day, they made sand castles... Boys V.S girls! Girls won!

Take that boys! The girls exclaimed happily.

On the fifth day... They had a tropical picnic... Jughead's favorite day!

Yum! A tropical fruit salad! Jughead drooled.

No Jughead! Every body rushed to get their share!

On the sixth day, they did every thing! Racing, Frisbee, too much!
I want to stay here forever! Every one agreed.
But on the seventh day…. They had a goodbye island campfire.
Nancy told a SCARY story….
There once was a group of friends… They got stuck on an island! Nancy recited...
Later…
They were being chased by skeletons! And all of a sudden!
EEEEEK! RUMBLING! Ethel screeched.
How did you know? Nancy asked. Did you hear this story before?
No! No! REAL rumbling! Exclaimed Ethel.
Everybody screamed!
I think I know where we are! Dilton exclaimed! Staring at something far, far, far away!
Whoa!!! Whaaa… Where? Asked Veronica, not really wanting to know.
Traverler's island! Dilton exclaimed.
It was a place where tourists went to… For hundreds of years!
But on a huge festival… A HUGER volcano named Sky Mountain erupted!
It hasn’t been alive for years! And now… It’s back! Shouted Dilton!
Veronica, Archie, Moose, Every body! Get your things... And go! Betty screamed.
Wait… How do we know it’s a volcano? Reggie asked.
Turn around Reggie! Betty exclaimed.
Reggie turned around... And saw a HUGE volcano shaking.
Let’s go!!! Reggie agreed. Swiftly!
But where will we go to? Chuck questioned Reggie. There is nowhere to go to!!!!
Just then… The lava began to pour out...
RUUUUUUUUUUUUN!!!!!!!!! Ethel shouted…
The gang ran all the way to the shallow water.
Now I don’t need to think about food! Jughead exclaimed. Throwing his pineapple away.

HUUUUURY! Betty called.
The lava was nearing the beach…
Just when the gang had lost hope….
Climb up the ladder! I repeat! Climb it! NOW! Came Mr. Lodge’s voice.
The gang didn’t want to leave their island… But they had to!
Oh no! The ladder was caught! Hurry! Hurry! Mr. Lodge shouted.
HEEEEEEEEELP!!!! Jughead shouted.
The lava was on the beach… Headed straight for the gang!
The lava was so close…. The gang could believe they were not already burnt to a crisp!
WAIT! It’s working! Mr. Lodge exclaimed, gratefully.
Hurry! Climb! Climb! Midge shouted.
Everybody climbed… Except Betty!
Come on Betty! Everybody tried to get her to.
I’m stuck! Betty called.
Betty was tangled at the bottom of the ladder.
Grab on to my hand! Archie called.
Betty reached… And Reached...
Gotcha!
The second before the lava covered the island completely… Betty was rescued!
When everybody was safely in the HUGE helicopter…
Mr. Lodge was surprised that the gang seemed to be sad to go…
When you didn’t come home, we sent a search party... Mr. Lodge explained.
Now you guys NEVER get in to any trouble like that AGAIN!!!! Mr. Lodge exclaimed…
But the gang had already decided to make it a summer tradition…
And had fallen fast asleep!

The End!

The Best Camping Story Ever: Lot 62
By Gottapename
Betty and Reggie both sat at the parking place of campgrounds

“I am not going, I don’t want to any more” Reggie whined.

“Hey you’re the one who insisted on this trip in the first place,” Betty pointed out.

“Well that’s before you let Carrot-top and Miss Lodge on the trip” Reggie countered.

“Reggie, I understand your, thing about Archie going, but I thought you would just love Veronica coming with us ” Betty teased

“I was hoping to spend some quality time with you and hopefully tell you something” he softly explained clasping his hands around hers.

“ What could you tell me you couldn’t say to Archie or Veronica, tell me” Betty said

“Yah tell her, Reggie, tell her what you cant’ tell us” a boys voice called out

Betty and Reggie looked around. The boy’s voice was that of Archie Andrews who was backing up in parking spot next to them. Veronica was in the car next to him.

“Yah tell her Reggie” Veronica said quite a bit crueller than Archie

Reggie released his grip on Betty’s hands. Reggie looked like he had come to class with his pants down. Betty gave Veronica an angry look

“If he doesn’t want you to hear what he has to say to me, then he does not want you to hear what he has to say to me, Veronica” Betty growled

She was beginning to see why Reggie wouldn’t want Veronica’s company on this trip. Sure she was Betty’s best friend, but she could be a real pain when not satisfied. There were many things that did satisfy Veronica Lodge, camping outdoors was not one of them. It had taken the fact that Archie might be spending time alone with Betty to convince her too come

“ Well since you’re here we might as well all go camping, ” Reggie said.

“That’s the sprit Reggie, it’s going to be fun just the four of us in the great outdoors” said Betty deciding to looks on the bright side of things.

“And of course Veronica and I won’t be spending all our time with you guys, we need some alone time too” Archie added giving Veronica hug and kiss.

“If you are going camping with us you might as well stop lifting each other up and give your kayak a lift to the water instead” Betty stated fiercely.

“Okay, Okay” Veronica and Archie said.

They all got into their kayaks into the water. Betty didn’t enjoy that Veronica and Archie were too busy flirting with each other. Reggie didn’t seem to mind as much as he usually did. He seemed more worried about how Betty was taking it. Which made Betty begin to wonder if those rumours about him having a crush on her were true. “Sure” Betty thought to herself, “Sometimes we kiss and go out on dates, but I bet plenty of friends do that kind of thing, we’re just friends and neither of us has a crush on each other”. She didn’t have to think about this for long. In a short time they were at their campsite. They set up their tents. Betty and Veronica worked on their tent, and Archie and Reggie worked on their tent as well. After that Veronica and Archie decided to go swimming together and, Reggie and Betty decided to have kayak races together. After awhile, Veronica and Archie got tired of swimming, and Betty and Reggie got exhausted.

“ Hey I heard they have some great cliffs for jumping into the water. You guys want to go with me? ” Veronica said to rest of the gang.

“ Sure Ronniekins I’d loved to go” Archie said.

“Why so bent on staying in the water so long Veronica?” Betty asked.

“To keep away from dirt as long as possible,” Veronica admitted, giving Betty, Reggie
and Archie, a good chuckle.

“You guys coming with us?”Veronica asked

“Nope, too exhausted” Betty and Reggie said.

So Archie and Veronica went to the cliff spot leaving Betty and Reggie alone together on the campground. Or that’s what our happy campers thought, but Betty and Reggie were not alone.

“ Since we’re alone now you can tell me what you wanted to earlier” Betty seductively cooed.

She brushed her hand up Reggie’s arm. He was about to respond when he heard crunching noises from behind him

“Hey guys” Jughead said “ I thought I was alone here, fancy us meeting here of all places”.

He was eating a bag of very crunchy potato chips. I told you Betty and Reggie weren’t alone. Jughead convinced them both to help them with dinner. When Archie and Veronica had come back the dinner was ready. When they were done they decided to have smores for dessert and to tell ghost stories by the campfire. Jughead was the first one to tell a story.

Jughead started his story.

“ One night there was a group of teenage campers camping on lot 62. One of the campers was planning to confess his love for one of the other campers but the others ruined it for him by going with them.”

“Ohh I love, love stories” Betty and Veronica squealed.

Jughead continued his story “ What they didn’t know was that there was a monster on the lot and it ate them all.”

“ That was the lamest story ever,” said rest of gang commented, except forReggie who was in Betty’s lap biting her nails.

“Aww, you’re sacred” Betty said sweetly.

“I am not scared,” shrieked Reggie.

“Good since you’re not scared get some fire wood for us” Veronica said.

“Fine I will” Reggie squealed nervously.

“I will come with you” Betty said.

While in the woods Betty asked Reggie “ Why were you so scared of Juggie’s story? He didn’t tell it that good and it wasn’t that scary.”

Reggie said, “ I am not scared. ”

Betty said, “ You don’t have to lie to me, I won’t tell anyone else, I promise.”

“ I guess it just remained me of our gang” Reggie explained.

“But in that story it had one of the campers wanting to confess their love for one of the other campers” Betty pointed out.

“Well …” Reggie stuttered

Betty began to put the pieces together.

“Aww that is so sweet Reggie. You wanted to confess your love for me while we were camping,” Betty cooed.

Betty snuggled up against him as she said it. Reggie started to blush.

Reggie sighed, “You caught me. How I could I not love you? After all, I have such great taste, but you see why I was scared at needle nose’s story now”

“ We still don’t have to worry about the monster. He is on lot 62 and were on lot 97” Betty reassured him.

All of a sudden a crunching sound came up from behind them. They turned around and this time it wasn’t it Jughead and potato chips.

Meanwhile the rest of the gang were still at the campfire.

“Firewood should not take this long to get” Veronica whined, “ Archie we’re going to get some fire wood and Reggie and Betty back here”

Archie obeyed Veronica’s command as usual and they both went into the woods.
After hours neither of them came back. So Jughead went into the woods and heard a crunching noise. He turned around and let out a scream.

Hours later the Forest Ranger went to campground. He looked at the number sign that said “9 7”. He said out loud to himself, “Man those darn vandals keep on putting this sign upside down making the 6 look like a nine and the very sloppy 2 look like a seven.”

So he adjusted the sign and cleared the two up, so the number now clearly said “62”. You see my friends and rivals, the camp lot, the gang all thought was lot 97 was actually lot 62, where Jughead said the monster in his story lived. As for Archie, Betty, Reggie and Jughead they were never seen again.

THE END

Reggie:Arch thats not me

Archie:alright gang we are safe

Dilton: wow am I smart or what!

Natasha:

Well I still have to finish my story I wrote 4 pages (MS Word) on it and still haven't finished! So I decided to split it up! THis is the First Part-

Camfire Trouble!

“And the winner is-The Archies!” The judge announced.
“Oh my gosh! We won!” Betty screeched.
“It’s not that great! I could have bought the prize anytime!” Veronica scoffed.
“The prize is-The Archies get a free flight to a very good camping spot.” The judge cried through the mike.
“Can you get us tickets for that?” Jughead asked.
“Yeah, like I said anytime!” Veronica said.
A small boy came running up to them.
“Do you want my autograph?” Reggie asked taking out a pen.
“No way I came here to deliver a message-The Archies are to report out back for your prize!” The boy said.
“They must want to give us the tickets.” Jughead said.
“Oh and Reggie if I ever wanted one of your autographs I would take Betty’s!” The boy said.
“Well well well….you got yourself a fan!” Veronica said nudging Betty.
“Gus! WE have to go and collect our tickets.” Jughead reminded them.
They ran out of the concert hall and to the back of it.
“Ah there you are.” The judge said, “I was just talking to Mr. Joker here.”
“Mr. Joker?” Betty asked curiously.
“Yeah, got a problem?” The other man asked.
“No!” Betty said looking down embarrassed.
“Well here are your tickets. Have a good trip and farewell because your flight leaves in 2 hours!” The judge cried stuffing the tickets into their hands.
“We’ll meet up at my place in an hour.” Veronica said once the men had left, “Packed of course.”
The rest of the gang nodded and they went their separate ways.
-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~

At Veronica’s House
“Well ready?” Veronica asked they met outside the mansion.
She lugged her bag over to the limo as quick as she could.
“No! I forgot!” Betty cried and hit her forehead.
She ran as fast as she could back to Veronica’s room. There she snatched a magazine and a detailed map of the whole world.
“Why do you need a map?” Veronica asked when Betty showed her what she had brought down.
“Well-“ Betty said.
“Oh my gosh look at the time!” Veronica cried as she glanced at her watch.
They quickly got into the limo and soon they were on there way for a BIG adventure.

DAIRY (written in italics)

Day 1 In the plane 10:30 a.m.
Well that’s how it started! We’ve decided to keep a diary of our journey to island where-ever (they didn’t tell us the name!)
Well hello!
Betty here!
We are in the plane! Veronica is fast asleep beside me while Archie across the aisle is busy flirting with girls! If I wasn’t so scared of flights I would have walked over there and slapped those girls HARD! Jughead is no where in sight as usual. Must be begging the flight attendant for more food! Reggie is boring the kid next to him about his life history.
Well that’s all for now.
Bye!

Day1 In the plane 11:00 a.m.
I just read what Betty wrote! I AM NOT FLIRTING! I am just having a friendly conversation with the girl in front of me. The flight has been going on for quite a while.
Apparently we are stopping in Texas before we head to Island where-ever! I just realized the girl in front of me(Sarah) has been talking to me for 15 minutes now. Better go!
Arch…

Day 1 In the plane 12:00
FOOD! The food here is just FABULOUS! I guess I’ll go and ask the flight attendant for more lemon treacle.

Arch.

Day 2 In the plane 1:30p.m.
All settled on the plane again! Sorry that Reggie has not been writing. He says he’s much TOO busy for it. So what we’re going to do is- we are going to ask him what he has done the whole day(My part) and then we are going to write it down for him(Betty’s part). We’re on a private plane to island where-ever! I wonder how long it’ll take to get there…must ask!
Ron.

Day 2 In the plane 3:00p.m.
This is Betty writing for Reggie!!
Well Reggie has been dating 3 girls at the same time! Two of them ditched him once they found out he was dating other girls. The third girl was happy because she thought everyone should have a change once in a while. But when she turned up at the airport she was with her new boyfriend! So I guess that’s off too!
Betty writing as Reggie.

“We’re here!” cried the pilot, “Here in Jamilee!”
“Jamilee!” Betty cried, “That’s an un-inhabited island!”
“WHAT?!” Veronica shrieked.
“That’s the place!” The pilot grinned.
Reggie groaned.
“Fasten your seat belts we are going to land!” He cried.
The plane landed in a small opening.
“Well I’ll be back in 1 week!” the pilot told them just before lifting the plane off the ground.

“One week?? I got food for only 3!” Veronica moaned.

“Hey where is my flashlight?” Archie asked as he walked over to the gang.
“Oh great another thing has gone missing!” Veronica sighed, “At this rate we might lose everything by the time those people return.”
“When I get my hands on those people I WILL” Jughead said.
“Don’t think such bad thoughts Juggie!” Betty said.
“I get angry when I’m hungry!” Jughead said.
“You can take my half!” Betty said pushing her box towards him.
She got up and walked to the tents.
“I guess I’ll turn in then!” Betty said.
“What would we ever do without her?” Archie said after she had gotten in the tent.

To BE Continued!
I will finsh it tomorrow if I can! I have it all planed out in my head now to just write it out...

Phua E Z:

Once, Archie was out with Veronica on a date. But, suddenly, there was a puncture. They both went out to see that there was a big hole in it. Archie had to replace it while Veronica sat in the car.
When Archie continued driving, he saw that there was a vampire at the back seat!
Veronica screamed while holding on to Archie. Archie couldn’t see right and they crashed into a lamppost. The vampire got out as it was running away from bees because he accidentally pushed a bee hive.
Veronica said: “that scream sounds familiar!”
“Help! Help! I’m Reggie! I put on a vampire costume to scare you two!!!” shouted the “vampire”.
After Reggie jump into a river and the bees flew away, Archie offered to drive him home.
Veronica: Serves you right, Reggie, you sneak!
Reggie: I’m sorry, I promise, I won’t do it again! You can make sure of that!

Jeremy :

The bear!
Written by Jeremy

I opened my eyes to see the sun rising in the horizon, the beautiful Saturday sun, bright and majestic. It was as if it knew what today was; it was the day of our annual Riverdale campfire. I sat up and stretched my body upwards and sideways, thinking through all the things I had to prepare, all the food and all the games.

Jughead had volunteered to prepare most of the food, as usual. Betty would bring the marshmallows and the drinks. Veronica wanted to bring sausages and hot dog buns, saying how it was an absolute must have, I said yes. Even Reggie agreed to bring along some bread. Not much but still better than the previous years where he brought absolutely nothing. Maybe Reggie’s changed…

I doubt so. Anyway, rain or shine, the campfire will start at one in the afternoon and end 7 tomorrow morning. Of course, there would be plenty of early morning activities the next morning but the campfire was the main thing.

I slowly packed my tent, my swimming trunks and spare clothing into my huge duffel bag, and started putting in the food. Packing the food was extremely tough, because you were always afraid of smashing it and ruining it. My dad and I used to always organize camping trips, so I knew.

After the food, I began packing in my Frisbee, my volleyball and my football. Usually, we would be playing Captain’s ball. It would be an easy thing just to get two chairs (some would be bringing ‘em). And besides, Betty and Ronnie loves Captain’s ball, they were usually the first ones to volunteer for Captain.

Holding my duffel, I walked over to my car, opened the boot, placed the bag in there and said bye Ma bye Pa as I drove out the fence and onto the road.

Stopping by the supermarket, I managed to purchase numerous tins of tuna and sardines, which I figured would be good with the bread. I remembered smiling the whole time, I was so happy I smiled at the cashier lady. She probably thought I was weird from that expression of hers.

We had all agreed to meet at Pops, before heading out for the camp site. Walking up to the entrance, I saw Betty and Veronica, toting their stuff, on their shoulders. I rushed to help them put their stuff into the car.

“Thanks, Archiekins.”

Jughead arrived with his huge, huge bag. Along with him came Ethel.

“Hey, Juggy. Hey, Ethel.” I greeted.

“Hi, Arch.” Both of them answered.

“All ready for the campfire?”

“You bet!”

I and Juggy put the bag into the car. It was difficult but we got it in.

Soon after, Moose and Reggie arrived in Moose’s van; both of them are very much engrossed in some conversation. Reggie was smiling, I didn’t know why, and Moose; he was pretty much focused on the road.

We planned to drive together, just like last year. I will be leading and Moose would be following from behind. It was 12 AM. We were well on time for the campfire! How exciting!

But, as I drove, something struck me. It was another one of those light bulb moments where the light bulb in your head would be lighted up and off you were, a brand new idea has been born. This time it wasn’t an idea though, it was something that had maybe been in my mind for quite awhile.

What is Reggie up to?

Maybe it was the smile, or the sheer size of his bag, or maybe it was just how my gut feeling felt when these things would happen. At the same time, I felt like oh well; maybe I was just imagining things, as Mr. Weatherbee always likes to say.

Well, I decided in the end that maybe it was just another one of my imaginations, maybe Reggie was just happy and there’s nothing wrong with being happy. I also decided that it really wasn’t worth my worry after all, having fun seemed more important.

And indeed, we had lots of fun. We played Captain’s ball. Betty, Moose and yours truly won 18-8, Jughead didn’t play, and he was eating of course. Poor Ethel kept dropping the balls and Reggie was spending most of the time showing off his washboard abs to Ronnie (shameless). Some people never change. We went on to play catch with the Frisbees. After that, all of us decided to do different things here and there. I went swimming with Veronica and Betty in the lake. It was great! Cooling winds and water, what’s better than those things in a Riverdale summer like this?

I do recall Reggie posing as a muscleman at the pier. And the others were fishing, under the cool, blue sky, no less. What could be more relaxing and peaceful than that?

Needless to say, the afternoon flew by very fast. The sun was no longer as high and no longer as bright, though the winds were still strong. It was turning red on the horizon. I remembered it looking like a huge white circle surrounded by a sharp reddish orange splash of light.
We all went back to our tents and we began setting up the campfire. Jughead and Ethel began preparing the food and the rest of us were piling the firewood. After that, I went into my tent to get my fire starters; I had brought them along for the fire. I figured maybe the fire would burn longer with them added in.

When I came out, Ronnie asked me a question I’ve never really thought about till then. “Do you think there might be any bears around this area, Archiekins?”

“No, I don’t think so. Dad said these parts are pretty much safe from such animals.”

“Phew…that’s good, because I don’t like the idea of one paying us a visit.”

“Me too.”

“Heh, you sure your dad know what he’s talking?” Reggie said with his trademark sarcastic tone.

“Oh, shut up, Reggie, if there is a bear here it will probably be after you first!” Jughead countered.

“Humph! We shall see, crown head!” Reggie started approaching with angry eyes.

“Crown head?” Jughead looked disgusted; he certainly didn’t like the sound of that.

“Enough! Sheesh, can you guys stop fighting, we’re supposed to be enjoying our campfire!” Betty got between the two, cooling down what could evolve into an ugly fight.

Thankfully, we managed to get the campfire up and the food all placed neatly in rows down on a ground sheet which we had placed near to the wood and fire. All without a single quarrel thank goodness. I couldn’t wait to dig into the wonderful spread of food which was on the sheet. I was pretty sure everyone couldn’t too, from their hungry looks.

The sun was now fully down, and what was once orange red was now black. We started the fire and it began crackling in the dark, shadowy night.

We sat around the fire and starting tucking in. I could hear the crackling of the wood and the soft roar of the fire and the ticking of the crickets. Everyone seemed to look shadowy and somewhat eerie even in the fire’s light, the shadows at their side and back were like capes draped over them.

The stories began and, soon, everyone was into it. We talked a lot about that time Ethel brought a iguana into Riverdale theater (a iguana!), about how Ronnie was caught unaware in a manicure shop which was really a set for a prank show (Ronnie didn’t like that at all as she was sulking the whole time that story was told, and Reggie found out the hard way why making fun of her after that was a very bad idea), about how Jughead was given Pop’s for a day….
As we talked and talked and talked, I noticed something strange.

“Where’s Reggie?!”

“Huh? Huh? Reggie’s gone?” Everyone started looking around.

“Gulp, the bear!” Jughead said (I wished he hadn’t said that).

“No, no, no…” Veronica added.

Everyone was, by now, pacing around and searching hard. Some looked under the tents and some were looking far into the bushes, trying to make out any black shape they could see. But, really, I didn’t think anyone saw anything and no one, I thought, would be brave enough to stay far from the fire’s light, the orange circle of light.

I looked at Veronica, Ethel and Betty, they were starting to look scared, and of course, they were cuddled together. Moose was behind them, standing tall, but even he was scared, I could see his scared looking eyes. I stood in the front. Gulp!

“Holy Cow!”

Sure enough, a bear appeared! From the corner of my eye I could see a huge lumbering figure stumbling out of the bushes to my left. I think everyone looked at it right away, I wasn’t sure, I couldn’t see what’s behind me, but one thing’s for certain, we all screamed! I think Ronnie and Betty screamed the loudest, I hardly could hear my voice…

Everyone started shuffling behind me. I could feel two sets of hands holding mine; they were clearly Ronnie’s and Betty’s. I felt, we all felt that deep feeling of panic and loss as we all shrank together there, deciding what we were going to do next. I grabbed my lantern and lit it up.

“Should we run, Moose?” I looked over my shoulder and said. I could see the girls and Jughead squeezed in between Moose and me. The bear was waving his paws and growling near us!

Without hesitation we ran for our lives. There wasn’t much time to think, it was about 5 seconds then we would’ve been bear food. The good thing was that I’d managed to steer the group towards the lake (we ran as a group).

But the strange thing was that the bear was running too! I think at the time we were too afraid to do much else except run, but Betty (smart girl, as always) managed to point out something to me. “Wait a minute, Bears don’t run….”

“It must be that Reggie dressed up as a bear!” Jughead exclaimed.

We stopped at that. In the distance we could see the bear waving, growling as it (or he) ran. It was so funny we all laughed! Then I could see something else, a huge hanging thing from the tree. I figured it might be some sort of hornet’s nest. And the bear’s head was heading right for it. No!!!

“Ouch!” A loud voice came from the bear as its head hit the nest with a convincing thud. Oh oh…

Before we knew it, hornets were everywhere and the screaming was louder than ever. We could see so many black dots. It must’ve been hundreds and hundreds of them!

“The lake, everyone run to the lake.” I heard Betty’s frightened voice from behind me.

I shouted to Reggie, the bear. “The lake, Reg, the lake, Run to the lake!” I could see him trying desperately to sweep off the large, looming cloud with his thick, wide paws.

We all ran then. I wasn’t sure if Reggie heard what I said, but we all were hoping for sure.

And into the lake we all jumped. Splash!!

Reggie, with his bear skin and all, followed. Splash!!

Thank goodness!

I sure hope those hornet bites he got on his head will remind him just why it was a bad idea to play such a prank on us, at night, and at the campfire. But we are sure he will never learn…

Sarah-Ann:

"This sure is my favorite time of the year, gang. Taking in the final weeks of summer, sitting around the camp fire, telling ghost stories!" said Archie.
"You know, you're right, Arch. I can't believe summers almost over!" exclaimed Betty.
"No kidding. I haven't even finished summer shopping and now I have to think school shopping!" said Veronica, rolling her eyes.
Betty and Archie scuffed under their breath and Archie asked, "Hey I wonder where Chuck and JugHead got off to?"
The three of them got up and started to look around. "It's too dark Archie! We're just going to have to wait for them, right Ron?"
"I don't know, Betty. It is getting pretty late and they have been gone awhile! We can't just leave them out there!" "I'm sure they'll be fine!" said Betty.
1 hour later.
"Ok. Now I'm starting to worry. Let's go look!" Archie said.
They creeped the camping grounds until they came up on something hanging from the trees! Archie shined his flashlight towards it and saw Chuck and JugHead hanging upside down! JugHead was happily munching down on a sandwich. Quickly they went and woke up the person in the camper next to the tree. They came out in a hurry. They cut them down and apoligized.
"Sorry. We put these here for the bears. We've never caught people before!"
"Yeah..well JugHead couldn't resist!" said Chuck angrily.
"GOOOOOOD sandwich, folks." JugHead smiled.
"Well...atleast we know through the summers that ONE thing hasn't changed!" Archie said and the gang laughed together as they had many years before and we planning to many years from now.

My Best Campfire Story Ever

The Zombies of Roanoake Island

Now, if you have studied early America, you would know that when the people with the supplies for the fist settlers of Roanoake Island found no one. They disappeared. All of them. They found no skeletons, nor any traces of life. Now some people beleive they just died in some cave. But a few scholars beleive one simple fact... the Zombies found them!

Now, the Zombies may rule the Island... just waiting to find new people on which to prey. As I stated before, most people beleive that they just died in a cave, or drowned when a tide came in. But we know the real truth. BEWARE OF ZOMBIES!

animalgurl:

This a story I heard from a friend, but I changed it so where the Archie characters have parts of the characters! Well here it is!

One day Archie and Veronica were on a date, and after the date Archie asked Veronica,"Why do you always wear a red scarf?"
Veronica:Oh,you don't want to know!
Archie:Of course I do,Sugar.
Veronica:No you don't,trust me.
Archie:Yes I do!
Veronica:(sigh) Are you sure?
Archie:Yes!
Veronica:Really sure?
Archie:YES!
Veronica:Ok,but don't say I didn't warn you.
So she slowly takes off her scarf and....

HER HEAD FALLS OFF!
The End
And I idn't wanna leave Reggie out,so here is his reaction:Holy cow! That was SO scary!
Me: ;)

Scott A. S:

Archie:Ahhhh.. The great outdoors! This is the life! The fresh air, the wild life!
Jughead(raiding the cooler): The free food!

Sam:

Sam:
It all started on a camping trip at the begining of the summer. The whole gang was getting ready to leave for their best trip ever! Betty, V»eronica and Midge were in one vehicule and Jughead, Archie, Reggie and Moose in the other. When they arrived at their first campsite, everyone was amazed at the beautiful scenery before them.
Betty:
Isn`t it wounderful! I just love nature and I can't believe we get to camp out in tents!
Veronica:
I don't know Betty. It seems creepy to me. I just hate the bugs!
Midge:
Oh Ronnie. It will be fun you will see.
Archie:
Ok gang. Time to put up the tents. Then we can make a campfire.
Sam:
So, the gang got their tents up and started a fire. Everything was going great. Until...
Veronica:
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
The rest of the gang:
What is it Ron?
Veronica:
I saw a MONSTER!
Reggie:
Come on Ron, there are no such things as monsters.
Sam:
Ignoring what had happened, the gang return to the fire and start telling eachother stories. Some are scary and some very funny.
Archie:
...And when he woke up, he spotted a chipmunk liking his spoon full of chocolate. That's what happens when people do not weash their dishes.
Sam:
They all laughed with amusement.
Betty and Midge:
*yawn* I think it's time for bed.
Sam:
In the middle of the night,it starts raining. The girls all wake up scared. Then all of a sudden they hear something moving through their gabage outside the tent.
Betty:
Wha..what is it?
Midge and Veronica:
I don't know.
Sam:
All nervous, the girls open the tent to see what it is. Too scared to look, they assume that it was a bear.
Three girls:
It's a bear! Ahhhhhhhh!
Sam:
For the next few nights, the girls kept hearing the same sound. And like the first night, they are too afraid to look. Until, one night...
Betty:
I'm tired of woundering what this Monster thing is. I am going to check it out.
Midge:
Ok. I am coming with you.
Veronica:
Good luck girls. I will stay here and guard the tent.
Betty:
Ready Midge?
Midge:
I guess so. Let's go.
Sam:
As the brave girls went out of the tent, Veronica stayed nervously hoping that the monster does not come get her.
Betty:
Did you bring the flashlight?
Midge:
I thought you had it.
Veronica:
Here. I have one.
Betty and Midge:
Ahh! Oh! You scared us Ron.
Veronica:
Sorry. I just could not stand staying in the tent alone.
Betty:
Alright. Thank you for the flashlight. Now to find out what this monster is...
Sam:
As Betty flashed the critter, the girls started laughing.
Midge:
Well, this is no monster! It's only a little racoon.
Betty:
Wow! Were we fooled easily.
Veronica:
Ya. You should have seen your faces.
Betty:
Our faces? You were just as scared as we were.
Veronica:
Ya, you're right. Boy, this will be the best story to tell everyone at school when we get back!
Midge:
I agree. It will be the camping trip that I will not forget.
Betty:
Same here. Hehe. Let's go wake up the boys.

The End

AmberLee:

Best Campfire Story Ever!

The whole gang sat around a flickering fire toasting smores. Except for Jughead who was raiding the cooler.
This is a great camping trip! Betty said.
It really puts me in the mood for ghost stories!
Ethel said.
I feel something crawling up my leg! shrieked Veronica.
Maybe it is the ghost bear of pinewoods!
said Jughead.
What are you talking about Jughead?
said Betty. There is no such thing!
Sure there is! exclaimed Jughead. I will tell you the story. It happened right here at the pinewoods campground. There was often campers just like us. Jughead began. They would always feed the bear. marshmallows, sandwhiches. it would take anything.
Sounds like someone I know. Archie commented.
Anyways, Jughead continued, This bear would come by so often that it became familliar to everyone. There was one little boy who was very special to him. The little boy would come by almost everyday and give the bear special treats. Then one day a cruel ranger came and forced the boy to leave, told him it wasnt healthy for the bear. The bear than growled and grabbed the ranger and tore her up and ate her. She had forced his only real friend to leave him.
Betty and Ethel wailed at the sad and gorey tale.
Then a hunter was hired to kill the bear. But when the bear was killed, a part of him was left behind. That was because he was usually a kind bear and when he died he was allowed to leave his ghost behind to haunt the woods forever. Ans to this day his ghost has been here to scare off the campers everynight.
I hear something! Betty screeched.
You dont think it is, that it's, could be, a, the, b-b-bear, do you? Verpnica asked right before she fainted.
A bear came out of the bushes about three feet away from the light the campfire cast off. Betty, and Ethel and Midge ran too the tent screeming. Reggie and Archie picked up Veronica and ran. Dilton took pictures as he ran away.
When they were all safe in their tents they heard a voice. i'm sorry, did I scare you? I'm campground patroll. Just checking up on things. YOu kids look fine. And the man in the bearSUIT left their campsite.
I knew there wasn't anything there! Reggie boasted.
Well why did you run then? Archie asked.
Reggie face got red and he began to sputter.
He really should change into a racoon suit or something that wouldn't frighten you out of your wits! Betty said.
It sure was funny! Jughead said.
Why didn't you run Juggie? If it wasn't the ghost bear it could still hurt you!
Betty said.
Lets just say, I have been to this capground before, when I was a little boy.

Campfire Scare

Tomorrow 10:15 a.m
Betty: I can't believe she's still packing! She started yesterday!
Midge: I'll go and check on her.
Betty: I'll come too.
They walk to Veronica's room. The scene there-
Betty: Veronica!
Veronica: Oh hey! Come to help me pack?
Betty: We can't take that!
Betty points to the seven bags stuffed with clothes.
Veronica: Don't be a spoil sport!
Midge: I know!
Betty glares at Midge.
Midge: Veronica just wants to get some excercise....y'know from carrying all those bags!
Betty giggled.
Veronica: What do you mean? You guys are carrying these bags!
Betty: No way! We are leaving NOW so pick a bag.
Veronica: Incky Pincky Poncky Father had a donkey donkey died Father cried. Incky Pincky Poncky.
Betty: Take this bag!
She picks up a bag and gives it to Veronica.
Midge pulls Veronica down the stairs to where the rest of the gang (except Reggie) is standing.
Archie: Time to leave!
They pile into the bus provided by Veronica.
Betty: Whew! It's stuffy!
Midge: Imagine if Veronica had brought her bags.
Betty: I don't want to imagine!
Nancy: Well, the journey starts!
Archie: I'll drive us there provided that some one directs me.
Dilton: I will.
One Hour Later.....
Betty: Aren't we there yet?
Dilton: As a matter of fact we are! Get out!
They pile out of the bus.
Dilton: It's a 5 mile walk from here.
Veronica: Why can't we take the bus?
Jughead: I'm guessin' it has somethin to do with that sign over there!
Jughead points to a board covered with leaves:
NO VEHICLES ALLOWED FROM THIS POINT ON WORD.
Veronica groans.
Meanwhile, Reggie....
Reggie: I can't wait to see their faces! This is going to be te BEST practical joke EVER! I'm going to scare them to bits! Good I let them take a 15 minutes head start!
Reggie presses his foot on the break.
Reggie: Ah! Here we are! There is their bus! First to chuck there emergency supplies!
Reggie moves to their bus. He quickly removes their extra food, batteries, fashlights and tents. He replaces it with a bag of slime and bugs.
He slips out without a sound and follows the gang into the forest grounds.
Veronica: I think some one is following us!
Archie: Don't be silly Ron! No one is following us!
Veronica: Me silly?
