i like how it starts with a bang and how we get t see M.K really get into action after like 100 issues but at the same time i dont like who Lein-Da is still in it, she annoys me cause she is such a wanna-bee bitch :D
besides Lein-Da i think it looks awesome, bring on some M.K VS Iron Queen action :O
Sonic's nose on the cover bothers me somehow -- maybe it's too long; other than that, though, it looks great!!
I was expecting something much different from Steven Butler; like the kind of intricate and detailed artwork he did back in say, '98 with Sonic and Tails searching for Ixis Naugus. I know that a lot has changed since then, but I was expecting something along the same lines.
I got in #201 the other day, and I saw that this website simply does not do Matt Herms' beautiful and vibrant colors justice. If you think they look great here, they'll look EVEN better once you get ahold of the issue.
I don't see Espio turning out to be a villian, though. Just someone who is foolishly trying to keep a promise that is no longer valid, since someone evil is in charge of his clan now. (I am assuming that she is in charge of it.)

seriously...Steven Butler has such a classic art style. youre insane.
I just don't like it because some of the characters look way too human.
wow..I'm hoping for more Scourge...and Fiona...she kinda dissapeared, and is still on Mobius. And I wonder if she's gonna have anything to do with Miles and Alicia, and what the're planning...what has become of Rosy?...So many questions...possible answers in the future...

Such a great issue.
Of course she's a wanna be ---- No Duh! She's a villainess. The BAD CHARACTERS aren't supposed to be endearing. What part of bad do you not understand?
And the language doesn't help. Most people use cussing either because they think it makes them look cool or because they don't have a decent vocabulary. So go out, read some books, and learn something.
Oh yeah. That would be another thing. It does have to do with the way the artist draws Sally but they've changed the basic way she looks over all from way back when Spaz used to actually draw the insides. When they mess up her looks and kind of phase out her place she had in the comics people start not liking her so much. (At least the ones who picked up on sonic more recently.) If anybody has purchased the archives and some of the older backsets (around years '98' & '99') please reply and tell me what you think.
Tracy can draw sally really good. She just hasn't done it in a while.
Ever sine she started doing it with the new formula for it or however you want to put it (you know the up, diagonal down, down, and back across.) She doesn't look as good. Sally needs to be drawn with curved eyes (where it comes from the base and makes a curved arch to the other side.) That and when the cheek line comes up a little (like the way Spaz does it) would all help make her look better. Tracy used to draw her better around sth#175 and it wasn't just the hair, her face has changed and not for the better.
I've gotta add to this. Read Calvin & Hobbes comics and Foxtrot comics; there's a bunch of words in there that I didn't know when I started, you've got to look them up. Also just reading through a thesaurus or dictionary has done wonders for me; my Mom always told me, "If you don't know it, look it up."
Language doesn't help. Besides, it's supposed to be filtered out, isn't it? \:-'
But to Shadow101 and Robbie-Nik, if Lien-Da (I checked #199, it's spelled that way) is indeed a "wanna-be", maybe she's cut out to be a heroine, rather than an evil "kommissar".
I sometimes wonder if they're drawing Sally off just to make people like Amy more, call me paranoid if you like. I have the '98 and '99 backsets, and she looks considerably better there (depending on the artist, of course) Spaz always did a great job, and I like the way Steven Butler was so elegant in his detail (however, I don't like his new style in #202, I also think he's slacking).
I think Sonic and Sally should get married (if you have seen most of my other comments, you've likely already recieved this impression). I've seen several comments refering to Amy being prettier than Sally, and that that's the reason for their preference; and the way Sally is being drawn is the reason for that. Tracy did a great job with her in Sonic Universe #5, she looked beautiful in that -- so why does she look so different most of the time otherwise?
Tracy drew her alot better when Sally had long hair. but Tracey is not a very good artist at all though.

I thought of a REALLY cool idea for the comics! Sonic should start a band with other freedom fighters, and Scourge would respectivly. They could use songs from other artists like, NickleBack and Three Days Grace for Sonic and Metallica and Bullet For My Valyntine for Scourge. It would be AWSOME!

Yeah I said that in the #204 & #205 comments section. But of course it wasn't just the hair if you read the comment. Her eyes for instance were a proper curved arch instead of weird angles and angry or smug or completely distorted looks in general.

i would love it if al of the heroes that could become super by the chaos emeralds could all come together and have a major fight!!!!
No offense but... AM I THE ONLY PERSON WHO HASN'T GONE INSANE?!?!?!?! Amy's and Silver's ideas are really good but everything else I'm not so sure about. Anyway here's what I think Scourge should do. Find this mouse girl who is Silver's best friend (even though she can't remember because somehow she got amnesia), fall in love with her, find every enemy Sonic has faced, get them to destroy him (even though it fails, the girl gets her memory back,and falls madly in love with Silver), and forget about the girl (until she gets possesed by the ghost of one of her ancestors and tries to destroy the planet).

Yeah, well like I was saying about them changing the style that they draw Sally with (Spaz's looks best) none of the other artists versions (even Butler's) seem to look that good. Sally's supposed to have curved arch eyes and a little more cheek line. Tracy used to draw her much better when she had long hair and it wasn't just the hair, she actually drew her eyes right among other things.
Tracy did draw Sally better when she had long hair but he does not lack talent. He can do a lot with expression flexibility, and while I've seen him take too much liberty with that expression thing and draw the characters off color, most of the time he looks much better than say Renae de liz. Ugh.
She is NOT more skilled than Tracy. Remember how snively looked?
i hope there is a sonic saga in sonic universe and i hope king sonic gets a new outfit.(a cool new outfit) and i seriously want there to be fighting and sonic to hav new abilities.
And instead of 3DG, DragonForce would be better for Sonic's band because their lyrics talk about war's and victories
