This Thanksgiving dinner thing is getting WAY out of hand. Its okay with me if everyone wants to spend their holiday at the Retirement Village, but now Ronnie has gone and “volunteered” ME, too! She said she did it because I have such a huge heart (and I do.) So, I’ll do it… for her. But if I find out my little Beanie-Wearing-Buddy volunteered me, then he and I are going to have a not-so-friendly talk. I told Ronnie these are my terms: I don’t cook, nor do I do dishes. I will not serve, and I’m NOT going to bus tables. I WILL host and/or supervise. When dinner is over, I will croon better then any crooner from the 40’s or 50’s, so the After-Dinner-Dance will be the best. Just setting the record straight. Reg

Oh Reg! You can't fool me... I know you have a big heart; otherwise, you'd never do some of the nice things you do for others. Thanksgiving IS a time to be thankful and to help others in need. I know if you hadn't been volunteered, you would've done it yourself. Have fun at the dinner and dance!

I agree with everyone else, Reg. You're not supposed to be selfish on Thanksgiving! Being a supervisor will NOT make people think that you have a big heart. Why don't you bus tables? Then you could "shower people with your magnificence" while being of some assistance. Reconsider it, Reg. Don't blow it like you did all those other times.

I don`t want to sound mean but.....You`re being very self centered and rude. Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful for everything you`re fortunite for having. Your friends,parents,healthy living conditions, ect. A lot of people don`t have those things. And the reason you SHOULD be voluteering is to help people who aren`t as lucky as you, not just to impress Veronica. I`m sorry but I can`t help agreeing with CowLvr66.

If you want something you will do anything, even if it means hurting someone else. You do your best to make everyone around you upset so you can feel better about yourself.
