Reg, The meaning of Christmas isn't just the gifts, you should be excited about Christmas in other ways too. Of course everyone loves getting gifts but thats not the only thing to get excited about! Theirs spending time with family and friends, and much more.

I'm sorry if I sound annoying, but Reggie, there are people who don't celebrate Christmas. I know you get excited and *cough* greedy *cough* around this time of year, it's just that I'm Jewish, so I don't even celebrate Christmas, and I don't do any of this type of thing. I just wanted to voice my opinion. Thanks!

I LOVE Christmas.It's such a jolly time of year.Yes,Reggie I LOVE to open presents,I do in fact have a wish list,and I do let people know what I want for Christmas.But Christmas is a time for Jesus.

Wow Reg! I didn't know this was going to be so contraversial! At any rate, no, it's not wrong to put a list together of what you want. People ask for those all the time so that they have an idea of what would be good to get you. People should just chill out and not be so wacked over this. To others- Reggie does good things too. I actually do not need/have/want a wishlist. And I like getting gifts and stuff, but i actually help others too. Like every year, I donate stuff that I don't want, don't need or have outgrown to charity or to my church to bring overseas to the charities there. I'm not saying that getting enthusiastic is not good, I'm just saying that maybe you could help others too? And getting EVERYONE to unwillingly give you a gift is going too far!

Everyone gets a bit overly excited from time to time. Just remember that there is more to christmas then being greedy. Christmas is the time where even the grinches can be nice :3
Perhaps a secret good deed for a certain freckle face might prove to be a good start? (Santa will award you extra brownie points. u.u)

I admit that I do ask for things for Christmas, but I always try to make it convieniant for the other person. I do online price checks to find the cheapest source (what with gas prices going up and all) and I always make sure that I really want the item so I can like it a lot. I also give my own $$$$$$$$$$$$$ to the santa claus outside stores. So, yes, I do ask for things, but I do it in a helpful way =). It's not about getting, it's about giving. And I give to charity, and I try to make or buy great gifts for my friends and family. Like a lot of ppl have said, it's the celebration of baby Jesus, and not the celebration of gifts. But, it's okay to be "enthusiastic" about it. Gosh, I'm typing too much. Gotta stop.

I`m sorry if you THOUGHT we were being rude. But what me,Alex,and all the other bloggers meant is that you can`t just think about gifts this time of the year but also the true meaning of Christmas. Although,I have to admit I do get excited about my Christmas presents,too! And I`m sure we all do! but just remember: it`s better to give than to receive.
