What happened when others saw Reggie’s prowl?
We know the Archies threw in their towel.
Reggie won 1st place; he beat them all.
Everyone else just dropped the ball.
Reggie’s the king; we’ll end the chant here.
Because we all know he’ll win it next year.
I have to say I was simply magnificent. I’ve signed so many autographs I think I’m getting carpel tunnel.
But being the modest winner that I am, I ask for a small - if not minute - round of cheers for 2nd (ha, ha,) and 3rd (hee, hee,) place winners (if you can call NOT coming in 1st winning?)
Ethel came in a distant 2nd with an adequate if not humorous hula dance. And my little buddy Dilton (with tons of help from me) captured third place with his remote controlled dancing robot. I personally taught it all his dance steps, by the way.
So every one now… cheer.

Ok ... my overall opinion on Reggie is that his character defines him as who he is - the comic wouldn't be the same if he wasn't so full of himself! So, yes, it's true that he's rather self-centered and vain, but changing his personality is out of the question! However, if he was capable of ACTUALLY TAKING ADVICE (hint, hint), I'd suggest that he tone it down a little ... even for just one comic strip!

Thanks, harrypotterfan! :) My brother told me that in the seventh book, (this is not really a spoiler...) there's a guy that they called Weatherbee (as a nickname or something), and that there's this other guy named Archie (Both minor characters). Weird, huh? Maybe the author liked Archie comics too. :)
