I can't believe it! I thought you weren't gonna be the maid of honor to watch Archie and Veronica get married. I can't believe you agreed! You can move on without Archie. There's someone out there who will make you happy like Adam, Jason or Reggie.

I think it's a good thing you agreed. Why? Because when the minister/priest says "speak now or forever hold your peace" to anyone who objects to the marriage during the ceremony, it'll be your last chance to stop this wedding! You'll tell Archie you're his true love and that he's going to make the worst mistake of his life for marrying Ronnie.

I am so sorry to hear that carrot-top ( as Reggie calls him) chose to marry Veronica instead of you. I have been reading Archie Comics for a long time and this is a shock to me and my friends.

From childhood to adulthood Archie has always treated you like one of the guys, he only wanted to take you out when Ronnie chose not to be bothered with him or when Archie has no money to take her to very expensive cafes, special events, dances and shows. He has broken your heart in so many ways and you kept taking him back knowing what he would do the next day. It is time to stop torturing yourself with this and move on. Do not feel badly and see this will be another door opening for yourself. Archie wasn't really there for you when you really needed him.... just when Ronnie wasn't around. If I were treated like that I would almost not consider him even a friend! It's hurtful and he knows your feelings for him.

I never really thought about this but reading other people's comments got me thinking
maybe Jughead is right for you.He's always nice to you and always reminding Archie not to leave you out like he usually does.I've also heard that in one comic Jughead said "If I would willingly kiss a girl it would be you."

sorry betty, but im a hardcore Veronica fan. that is mostly because me and my bff made up this thing where we have everyone in our class archie names.... and im veronica, and i want "Archie"!!!! "The Proposal" is inconsistent with other archie comics because in the jughead comic with january McAndrews she says that he was about to marry one girl and then married another... wich technically means that he should have married you. and plus in the original archie comics (Im an avid collecter) veronica never really liked archie but he was in love with her, and you were in love with him, and the only reason that she liked him was to make you jelous...there goes that infernal triangle again! anyways im really mad that the proucers married archie off! im sure that the original creator would have been appaled. part of the charm of archie is that he and he friends are forever young and carefree and he is always getting in to messes because he loves you both equally!!! but im glad that hes marring veronica because maybe its an omen for me. -Emm
