If your teacher called you a sore loser what would you do? (my teacher called me that) I need some help with it. It makes me really mad (I'm not a sore loser) He is a 4th grade teacher and treats the girls in my class like poo. I need your help Betty!!

Wow, this is a good one! First thing to remember is this: Everyone has an opinion about everything and everybody! It doesn’t mean it’s a CORRECT opinion, though. It’s just an opinion. Sooooo, I never put much stock into what other people think about me.
IF you have heard you are a “sore loser” before from OTHER people you know and respect – then you might want to give it some thought. If it really is a problem, it’s best to deal with it now.
BUT, if you think he’s way off base, put it behind you and move on! Next fall you’ll have a brand new teacher and your old one will be teaching a whole new crop of 4th graders. There are other things to think about!
That’s our 2 cents. Anyone else got an opinion?

i don't think a teacher should be calling a kid a sore loser. i would tell my parents
Listen to some of Leona Lewis's songs ( bleeding love, A moment like this) the lyrics could relate to your problem (especially bleeding love but only some part but not the part that says i am in love with you other than that it can relate) A moment like this can relate to you when he is gone hehehe...(=^.^=)

I agree with you! Its just an opinion, sometimes its right sometimes it not. Maybe you should just check and make sure your not being a sore loser, and if your not then just forget about it because it was just his opinion.
Just ignore him and go on! Perhaps your teacher calls you a "sore loser" because he wants to cover his flaw... He treats you so because he wants RESPECT! He wants to be worshiped! But don't let this take you down, because a teacher like that actually can do NOTHING. Well, I'm dealing with that kind of teacher now... He didn't want to admit his mistake. I ever criticized him. He seemed to be embarrassed but then he lectured me! Can you imagine how I felt?
But you and I must survive! Don't get hurt so easily. Betty and Veronica is right! You won't meet him standing in front of the class next year! Well, I still have one meeting with him (it will be the last)...that's what I really want! What about you? Way to go, Girl!
Wow, Hannah, don't worry too much about what he says, people often say things they don't mean at the heat of the moment. He probably forgot he said, and he was probably having a bad day. Let it go, but if it continues and gets out of hand, i say head to the principal
i think this is serious i mean teachers should never call a kid a loser, i know what he thinks hardly matters BUT i still think you should tell the princable and your parents
Nobody should be called a sore loser. Everyone should be treated with respect. Though we have a freedom of free speech, we should be considerate of others. We should keep our opinions to ourselves if they are not nice. Everyone has someone they don't like, but they should still treat everyone the same. Tell your parents about or even the principal. Those who have more authority, doesn't mean they have a right to say something mean. It's called bullying. It like the saying, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.
Lucky! You've got like 5 days of school left, Bets! I'm stuck in school until the beginning of June...ugh (oops, i accidentaly wrote July, then fixed it to June-lol!!!) BUT WE GET TO DO STUFF THAT'S SPECIAL TO MY GRADE, so I'll stay in school, thank you... I think my grade is the most looked-forwarded-to grade in my school level... (btw, that's k-5, then 6-8, then 9-12, just so you don't get confused about lvls...I don't want people to know my grade, so i'll just use that... otherwise i'd used elementary, middle, or high school sorry)

Some times teachers do some of those things, so dont worry. One of my teachers in my school does that too, but he pics on like either the really not smart kids, and like tells them that if they dont start to work, the will get exppeled. So its not jsut you, it happens to everyone. but sometimes they do that just to bug you. just ignore it
about that teacher you have to tell your parents about cause what he said was so like unacceptable so he is a sore lose not you!

hannah, have you ever read ask lily if u have you wouldn't ask that question. according to lily u really shouldn't be afraid as long as you know who you are that's all that matters and if you think other girls feel that way you should protest but not a protest like lily did in lily the rebel but something write a note to the principal/other teachers or you should say something to the teacher silently like after class but nothing disrespectful,okay? oh and by the way i have been called a sore loser before 'cause i read too much lily books but you see what lily books are doing so just remember be proud of what you do, and do what you are proud of.
