The snow is melting – finally! Now I can turn my attention to other, more important things. Like Veronica’s Birthday! It’s exactly 2 weeks from today and I still haven’t gotten her a gift.
I talked to Mr. Lodge and I know what he’s doing for her birthday. She’s gonna luv it! (Ronnie will drive me crazy when she finds out I already know and she doesn’t – but that’s part of the fun.)
Midge and Nancy talked to me today too. They had an idea for her birthday which was awesome! Now, I just have to coordinate so all these birthday plans don’t run into each other.
Hey, maybe I could have a career as an “Event Co-ordinator.” What do ya think?

The snow is already melting where you are? Man you're so lucky, Our snow doesn't really melt to about halfway through April, So by the beginning of May we hopefully have very little snow.
May I suggest that you give veronica a day, just hand her a card that says on the whatever day of whatever month, Veronica and Betty will spend the day together doing whatever Veronica wants.

These bad days keep coming, today I tried to stand up for a picked on girl on the bus, and then my braty friend said I was a showoff, The girl was crying off the bus and I felt a change in my heart, all of these times I picked on her, but now I see what she goes through every single day! Lucky! Your snow is melting! We got (literally) a foot of snow here in Canada! So unfair! The only good thing about it was that I got a five-day weekend! Snow days!

i have another question.
my mum won't let me have ANY privacy exept 2 have bath and 2 sleep at night of course. she doesn't let me do anything. she won't even let my 16 yearold sister have a boyfriend. she told her the other day that if she found out she had had a boyfriend bhind her back, she would take her out of school. she's very mean. me and my sister fell awfull about this but we just don't like mum AT ALL!!! sometimes (i home school) through school i find something difficult and mum just tells me i'm trying to find something 2 whine about and says that i'm just lazy. i need help. i try to read the Bible and pray but that always just makes me feel worse. and she pretends 2 be very wonderful and perfect but everyone really thinks she's very annoying. she sometimes makes the most awfull lies and expects me and my sisters 2 follow after her. of course i'd never dare though. i need HELP!!!!!!!!

You used to pick on a girl? I'm proud of you that you had a change of heart. It sounds like your conscience finally woke up. :)
Yes, people who are bullied get affected and you got to see the effects of it on that girl. It is torture for them to go to school each day and face the problems they get from bullies. And not only that but you saw how your "friend" is. A bully herself. That was retarded what your friend said to you. A real friend wouldn't be mean to you. A good friend is not a bad influence. In fact, they care about you and help you out when you need it (if they can.)
You did a wonderful deed on helping the girl who was picked on. With time, probably she will realize the good deed you did for her and feel grateful for what you've done. **cheers for you**** :D For all the people who were picked on, I thank you for standing up for her! I had a teacher help me before when I was picked on until I was able to stand up for myself. And I had 2 bullies on that time, lol.
What will happen next? It's all up to you. If you keep defending the "picked on girl" be prepared to hear more stupid things your "friend" or people like her could say to you. If you agree with your friend about picking on that girl, it's not right.
Maybe you can ask the picked on girl if she would like to join you for lunch? If your "friend" starts telling you nonsense again like why invite that looser girl or stuff, tell her that she can join you two if she wants but if she is going to join you, to be nice or else to wait for you somewhere else or something like that.
Whatever it is you decide to do, just be prepared for in case things change so you wont get caught off guard and you'll know what to do or say when something like that happens again.

This isn't quite on subject but I just love Archie comics so, 2 years ago when it was christmas, my mom got me a Betty doll and my sister a Veronica doll. Well, I saw in your "Archie's Story & Game Digest" magizine #29 a comic strip that is called Archie and the gang in "Dolly Delight" and it showed a Betty, Veronica, Archie, Jughead, and all the other main characters that are in Archie comics.Each doll came with accessories and personalities. Well Daisy as a bb this is a tough one but,not to worry I have advice.If your friend is saying bad things about you then she's not your friend at all.Tell her to stop saying mean stuff about you and if she doesn't don't be her friend.Who cares what she says?She's not the boss of you.She's just gonna make HERSELF look bad.And her gossipy friends are going to be back-stabbed and talked about too.So who cares?Hope it helped!

it's fun to like boys sometimes and i find it pretty fun to talk to friends about boys but sometimes you do get hurt when a boy you have liked for(in my case) years, suddenly decides he doesn't like you anymore and snobs you. i had that happen to me a few weeks ago by a boy i had liked for 6 YEARS!! he liked me for that long too but he must have suddenly decided he didn't like me anymore. i've gotten over it now and have moved on. now i like another boy. even though i only see him a few times a year.
