Is Christmas Eve! I am NEVER gonna get all these gifts made in time. I might just give everyone the supplies and the finished picture and let them make their own presents this year! LOL That would be tacky, though, wouldn't it? I'll worry about that later.
This is a big week in Riverdale. There are tons of Christmas events - a band concert, 2 church programs, a canned food drive, a Christmas Bazaar, and an open house at my favorite sporting goods store! PLUS Mom wants me to help her put up the tree tonight and decorate the mantle.
I hope the teachers go easy on the homework this week, because I don't have time to do it!
Perhaps the biggest day this week is Friday - you know why, don't you? Yeah, it's Archie's Birthday! You know, 3 months ago I had all sorts of birthday gift ideas for him - so, I'm glad I picked his present up then. :) It's been wrapped and stashed in the closet for weeks now. I hope he likes it. I'll give you a hint: It's NOT Christmassy... or even wintery!
Okay, time to head to the attic and drag all the Christmas decorations down for Mom. Hey bbs, who is the holiday decorator in YOUR house? LMK.

lol, you almost sounded like reggie in that first paragraph. hope he doesn't get any ideas.
(just as a hint, maybe you should buy a few gifts. make some for those you are really close to and buy gifts for others. you're gonna stress yourself out if you don't. it was a really thoughtful idea but this is something you probably shoulda started over the summer)

I am mostly the decorater in my house.I have the most holiday spirit in my house.Whether it would be Canada Day,Thanksgiving or Christmas, I LOVE HOLIDAYS!!

I mostly decorate and get in the spirit of holidays than the rest of my family. My Mom comes in a very close second. But my father and brother are ,like, who cares? I know even in Christmas time. I write the family newsletter/card and make the cookies. I love doing it though:D

relax pal,you still have three weeks to wrap all your presents..wow,archie's birthday is fast approaching...how old is he again?
and oh,,i love the holidays soooo much,and love decorating our house with christmas ornaments,christmas lights and so much more.what i also like about this season is that there are lots of fun activities happening everywhere and of course SALE on malls that we girls totally love...
At our city,a lot of christmas bazaars(or tiangge,as what we call it here in the Philippines) are visited by all of our friends and families.
well,goodluck decorating,im sure you'll enjoy it...and just a suggestion try listening to christmas songs while decorating you will definitely feel the spirit of christmas=D

Happy early birthday Arch!!! I am the big holiday decorator in my house! I love to make my house awesome and all christmasy looking! My other family members like it and once they get going they get into it but sometimes it takes a little to get them going! lol!

Hey! Weird, but me, the kid, is the main decorator in the house! I have the spirit of the holidays, but my parents think it's too much work to decorate the house. They even think a tree might be overdoing it. So they put the lights on the tree and I do the rest! I'm ambitioning to be an artist someday, so my artistic eye is giving my decorating skills a huge hand!

WoW ya got alot of stuff goin on girl!
this year will be the first year we have a ranch X-Mas! since we live on a ranch, we are going to save a tree by just ging outside and decorating a pine tree outside, we are going to decorate it with popcorn and stuff the little birdies and other critters can eat! whaddya think?
im making all my X-Mas gifts too!mostly jewlery and stuff i knit! ( im makin some rattles too )

That sounds cool tree huggin' hippie (sage)! We were going to use a real tree this year because we have to cut some down anyway but instead we decided to use our fake tree. It's like, over 20 yrs old! Older than me! My Mom got it way back in the 70's and it's been the only tree I've known since then:) I do feed the birds though. My fav. is the cardinal or the finch:-)
