Counting the Days

OMG, I can’t believe Christmas is NEXT WEEK!!!! Yikes! I still have sooooo much to do. Mom’s kitchen looks like a tornado hit it; I have been baking up a storm!

How’s your Christmas prep going? Got all your shopping done? Presents wrapped? Tree decorated? Think you’re caught up? Well, let Ronnie and me add ONE MORE THING to your list of Christmas To Do’s – don’t worry, it’s really fun!

Run over to the Story Starter page (link) to see our last Story Starter for THIS QUARTER! I promise, you’re gonna like it.

Gee, I hope there’s no homework this week. I still have 30 pounds of cashew brittle to make!

How are you guys doing? Today it has been a better day for me **knocks on wood.

Wow, that was kinda fast!-- I mean Christmas is next week!!! In a way, it seemed a little slow to me this year, which is good. :) More time to enjoy the Special Holiday. :D

My mom is cooking right now. She's making a Mexican food called "Tamales." I don't know if you know this but even though Tamales is a Mexican tradition, it's made differently in each particular city (or is it zone?) of Mexico. The way my mom makes it is with clean pork (fat and bones removed), I think it's corn flour, ... never mind it's a big list of ingredients, lol. But she wraps them in corn leaves and instead of tying them down like in some parts of Mexico, she just folds them closed and steams them in a huge water pot. It's a lot of work but man, it tastes so freaking good.

And also gives such a good, warm, homey feeling throughout the whole house. Like on thanksgiving when people make Turkey and the side dishes, it's a wonderful feeling in the air and not to mention a good and satisfying fillness in out tummies. lol!

Last night we bought a fake Christmas tree since my mom heard on the news that the real trees this year aren't good. People have found spiders, and even worms in them! Eeew! So this is the first time we got a fake tree but it looks so good and cheerful. It looks like a real tree except it smells like plastic, lol. Maybe if we hang a pine scented car scent on the tree? lol! Kidding!

There's very few presents under the tree since my parents haven't gone shopping yet, but I am almost done shopping. I just need to buy my mom her gifts and then I'm done! It's so much fun! :D

Since my uncle had gotten sick and died, we haven't been able to concentrate on Christmas very well. But now that Everything has calmed down a bit, we have had some room to breath again.

So right now my mom and dad are downstairs cooking and my sister is making the Christmas cards while my brother is working out and later is coming back up to continue playing a game online.

Boy, that was a long post I made. lol sorry.

Hope you all are having a terrific day! :D

I just wanted to comment on the contribution of this community here. It's amazing.

I wanted to give a little something back myself

There is a site that has been extremely helpful to myself and some associates of mine. That site is OnlineComputerHelpers.com and they offer online computer repair

I hope that my contribution has been substantial and you also are able to utilize their services just as I have.
