Now Archie Comics will listen to the cry of fans around the world and in ARCHIE #603, Archie Andrews will propose to Betty Cooper!

Then he would know that he should not have treated her so badly. Please, please, PLEASE have Betty and Dilton fall in love and marry and then have a long and happy life.

I know what happened don't worry people cuz Archie didn't actually marry either of them what he does is that when ppl are remembering stuff it's called going down memory lane no? so what Archie does is he goes up memory lane and sees his future.
He chooses the right lane and says he'll leave the other one for another day.In the lane he chooses he marries veronica which is shown in issue 600-6001 and he sees what it would be like if he married betty in the left lane which is shown in issue 603-605 BUT THEY STILL DON'T TELL US WHICH LANE HE CHOOSES and the famous mystery continues.

Okay guys, please don't all roar a big angry ship-obsessed roar, but I'm actually a little annoyed with this new development. Betty was very gracious during Ron's wedding, and the talk she had with Archie during that seemed to offer her some closure of sorts.
Also, everyone knows about Archie's infamous wandering eyes syndrome. He needs someone who has a bit of a spine (titanium spine) to snap him back into focus.
What Betty needs, is time to get over the guy, because she's already had to adjust to life without him. Archie making another adjustment would just be unfair to both girls. They demanded answers from him for so long for a reason. Neither liked to be strung on.
Besides, everyone says that Betty deserves him, but I have to say that Veronica actually deserves him, because Betty deserves so much better. Betty wouldn't have too much trouble finding someone who would really care about her and solely her.
This sudden turn of events is just like the Archie writers, we think they've finally made a decision, and then suddenly they go back to square one, and I've got to say, at some point, people start to get tired of it. I think that they need this storyline to clear things up. But to do that, they shouldn't do something based on fan response, they should do it based on whether or not it's in character for the characters. Otherwise, this storyline isn't closure for us, it's kind of fake.
