THE EVOLUTION OF A COVER

In an homage to the original Sonic the Hedgehog #0 cover, Sonic artist Tracy Yardley! has produced a cover on the up coming 2009 FCBD Sonic Comic that brings forward all the key elements of the original cover. Without a copy of the original cover, Tracy paid tribute one of the Hedgehog's defining moments from deep in his own memories. Sonic #0 launched the title on a run of more than 200 issues and it is still going strong. When comparing the covers side by side it is an amazing homage and a striking similarity, truly capturing the evolution of a hero.
