When Archie comics announced the Weekly Story Contest was opened to Archie fans of all ages, from all over the world, one of our international fans accepted our challenge and became our first Grand Prize winner. Maha, an Archie fan from Athens, Greece has won the Quarterly Story Contest. Maha was the week 6 winner from our Weekly Story Contest, with her story "Driving with Ethel". The story went on to win the Quarterly Story Contest and will be featured in Archie's Pals'N'Gals Double Digest # 116 which goes on sale today, November 5, 2007. The story includes all the kids from Riverdale with art by Archie Comics' own Fernando Ruiz. When Maha received a personal congratulation from publisher Michael Silberkleit she told him "I'm really excited about winning the grand prize and I have told everybody I know.
