THE NEW LOOK RETURNS! ...AND BETTY PLAYS HARD BALL WITH ARCHIE!

Archie's dynamic "New Look" caught international attention when images of Betty & Veronica as drawn by Steven Butler appeared on TV, magazines and newspapers worldwide. After two years of "New Look" stories, it was announced that the Pals 'n' Gals story "A Funny Kind of Love" would be the last and all Archie Comics would return to the classic Archie drawing style going forward.

In the wake of that announcement, letters and emails from fans expressed their overwhelming demand for more "New Look" stories and collections of all the previous 4-shot titles.

In response, Co-CEO Jon Goldwater announced, "Archie has a long and proud tradition of reading every letter and email sent to the company and listening to what our fans want. The fans want more 'New Look' stories, and in response we will give them exactly that. In April the 'New Look' will return!"

Continuing the "New Look" is author Melanie J. Morgan, author of all of Archie's previous "New Look" stories. Joining Melanie is artist Rod Whigham, best known for his work on G.I. Joe, the Flash and the Punisher.

Look for this exciting new tale in BETTY & VERONICA DOUBLE DIGEST #180...

The upcoming trade paperback is packed with 168 thrilling pages of the historic and touching tale of two paths up Memory Lane and features all seven original covers including the epilogue. Readers everywhere will finally be able to experience the heart-string-tugging twists and turns of Archie's two possible futures in one all inclusive collection to share with family and friends.
