Thanks, caitlyn. :) Oh, and you can save your picture by jpeg when the file opens up... I'll explain:
(This is for the scanning version)
1: Scan your picture
2. Copy and Paste it into your pictures file.
3. It's automatically jpeg...
4. If it is not automatically jpeg, copy and paste your picture into "paint"
5. Click on "File" and then press "Save As"
6. A pictures window will open up.
7. Write the title of your picture in the "File Name" section.
8. Then, on the bottom of that, it says the type of file you want to save it as.
9. Find jpeg and click on it.
And that's about it. :) If I didn't make any sense to you... then ask your mom and dad. I'm sure that they'll know how to do it too. :)

do you have a cellphone plus does it have a camera in it ya no?
well you take a picture of your drawing even though i may not look as clear and good as the scanner does it it still owrks ive done that before with pics my friend told me this! you take a picture and you send it though a message to your email then you right click and save it to paint a LALA!!!

Well, Unnumbered Day, all I can say is: Just try your best to get that scanner working! :) Or---you can take a picture of your drawing if you have a camera (better if digital). A really good picture. :) It still comes out clear. :) Well, bye!

i have a question: does the art have to be of just archie and the gang, or can it b other ppl in the world of archie, such as sabrina, josie and the pussycats, etc.????
Yes! Woo-hoo! :) :) :) I finished drawing six more drawings! All colored! :) One of the drawings I did is different, you'll notice it. :) Phew... my hands hurt. Well, only my right-hand. After coloring with the color pencils really hard and never taking a break for SEVEN hours excluding dinner. I've started at 5:00 P.M to 12:00 A.M. Talk about hard work. ;) I thought my hand was going to fall off. My mom said, "You work so hard on your Archie drawings, try doing that at school." That was a joke though. Hahahaha... :) Maybe she wasn't joking... but I do try my best in school to get straight A's. :) Anyway, it was really fun to draw those pictures! The hardest one was my Betty one. The "different" one. I used construction paper and cut out A LOT of pieces. Plus, it took me a REALLY short time to draw the other five. But the reason why it took long was because of the coloring... and the fixing. I cut out my drawings and...hard to explain. I just messed up a few times... I think three times, so I had to do some fixing. I think I'm getting you guys bored of this comment... maybe this sounds like one of Mr. Weatherbee's speeches to you guys. :) Hahahaha... well, Good Night and Good Morning! 1:50 A.M right now... not tired though. :) I just had a snack. Very delicious... oh---- I'm typing more again. I have to stop myself...

pureheart i need some advice!!! i am a great artist and i have drawn a great picture of archie, but now i cant do it anymore!!! how do u start off when u draw pics of the characters?
meghan, when I draw the characters... I:
1. Draw the eyes first
2. And then the nose
3. The the eye-brows next
4. Then the mouth
5. Then the face shape
6. Ears, hair, etc.
That's how I usually do it. BUT--- we all have our non-drawing days sometimes, which means that we can't draw them suddenly for no reason. :)

When I draw someone, I always do the outline of the hair and face first, then I fill in the face and finish the hair. Next comes the shoulders, then the shirt. When I'm done the shirt, I'll move on to the arms. That's about as far as I go. I usually concentrate on the face, not the body.
