wow pureheart your drawing is so good and you already have a chance of winngin but you have alot of drawings entered so you deffintly are but i still wonder if i send more in will they be added to this one or a different one?

I drew a clasic betty with pencils and heard about pureheart inking his drawings but I didn't have any ink, so I used markers. I coloerd it before with colored pencils. I noticed there was alot of white spots on bettys face so I colored it in with a peach marker. But the marker was so dark, Betty looks like she has a bad sun burn onm her face! :( But im sending it in anyways. And nice drawing everyone!

Okay... to Cinnamon Apple and to Amal F (or to anybody else): This is how I send my pictures in: First, I scan my picture with the scanner. If you don't know how to scan your picture, ask your mom or dad. Next, your scanned picture will be in your laptop or computer. Go to your e-mail address, or to your mom's or dad's e-mail, and click on browse. You click browse to look for your pictures. Ask your mom and dad if you don't know how... Okay, then, find your picture in your picture file. Click on it two times. Ok, next, send it in to blogfanart@archiecomics.com then put "blogfanart" in the subject area. Last of all, you send it. :) If I didn't make any sense to you guys at all, then ask your mom or dad for help. :)

My favorite shows are Archie shows such as, Archie's Weird Mysteries, The Archie Show, The New Archies, etc. ALL of those Archie shows. :) Other than that I like watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It's very funny. People think that show is just stupid, but they never even try to watch the show for days. Because if you watch a T.V show and keep on telling yourself that you'll hate it and it's stupid, then you won't enjoy it at all and ever watch it again... or even give it a chance. Right? :) But a lot of people love that show. :) Anyway, I watch that every Saturday morning. But The Archie shows are my top favorite. It's hard to tell you what shows I like... since I like a lot of different shows.

=( they USED to have archie shows on tv on my stations but they took em of the air to make room 4 the news or repeats of......watever that show is called! i cant remember the name! the last time i saw an archie show wuz in 2005! =( o well. i watch teenage mutant ninja turtles 2 someimes cuz its on A LOT at my house. its in my brother top ten [out of like, 15,000] shows. so i end up watching it wen im reading harrypotter, ghost stories, or archie comics. i get easily distracted. by the way, i didnt mean to put "evil brother" on my last comment. i meant 2 erase the word evil.. oops =). anyway, bye, my brother wants his computer bak. c? i erased evil!=)

yay! tons of good stuff happened 2day! i went to an irish festivle in D.C., then i went 2 a baseball game and the team i wuz rooting 4 won 12 to 1! then, i got my SOL scores and i got advanced on all of them and i only missed 2 or 3 questions on 2 out of 5 or so tests! then, my vampire of a brother reminded me that i cud use the computer downstairs instead of in his room. i like his better tho so this is ONLY 4 2nite! anyway, bye!

Cinammon Apple, the other website I go to everyday are: gmail and youtube. For youtube, I just check if somebody updated an Archie video and I just watch the Archie things there over and over again. :) And of course I go to gmail because...mail. :) But, I usually just stay on Archiecomics.com. For a very, very, very, very, very, LONG time. :) This is the best website. I also just go to google to look up Archie information too. :) Oh, and Amateur Artist, I borrow my sister's pens. We get them at Michaels. I don't have the inking pens that the Archie artists have, but 5 or 6 different kinds. Each of the pens I have are different in there thickness. That's why it takes me a little bit longer to finish my drawings. But if I had the inking pen that the Archie artists had, then I would finish my drawings much more faster! :) And Monica, I live in California. I don't know when Kyle XY is on. Sorry, I don't watch that show. :P But you can go to tvguide.com to find out! and--- I do stay on this website pretty much all night. But I think I got to sleep earlier. But I know that Archie's Weird Mysteries got cancelled here because I use to watch that show everyday even if it was a re-run. :( Hopefully, they'll play the shows again.) Well, bye!

2.h8s shopping
3.writes about superheros
4.sed his/her nikname is archie on some other blog, and archie is a boy name.
5.drew stars to look kewl and shuddered at cute.

harrypotterfan, my favorite game is.... okay, it's too hard to have only one favorite game. :P I like playing X-Men. I beat all of them with my brother and sister. Except for the third one, still working on it. And I also liked playing the TMNT games. Beat all of them with my sister and my brother. :) I want to get the third one for that. And I like playing Animal Crossing. I like playing all sorts of games. :) And two of my other favorite ones are: Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie. :) Right now, I have a Gamecube, Nintendo 64, and A Super Nintendo (very old). I just like A LOT of games. :) TMNT, X-Men, Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie, and Animal Crossing are in my favorites. Usually I like playing any kind of game, fighting, adventure, racing, etc. And soon, another game will be in my favorites. A very special one. ;)

Cinnamon Apple, when I watched Archie's Weird Mysteries, I woke up at 7:30 A.M to watch it everyday. Monday-Friday. That's when it was on over here. But I'm not sure when it'll be on in N.J. I think 10:00 A.M. Not sure, but I think. shea, I don't attend sports actually, but I enjoy playing them a lot. :) I like basketball, tennis, flag-football, street-hockey, base-ball, soft-ball, volley-ball (although it hurts my wrists), soccer (a little), etc. But, in every single sport, I got hit in the face a lot though, with: hockey-puck, basketball, punch-ball, soccer-ball, etc. But that doesn't matter. :P Well, gotta' go! doesnt girls just play volleyball (wel thats how it is at my school!)
but thats awesome all i really play like on teams is volleyball and softball

For my school, the sports we play are: Volleyball, Flag Football, Basketball, Team Handball, Hockey, Kickball/Frisbee, Softball, and Track and Field. In Track and Field we do: Sprints, Distance races, Relay Races, High jump, Long jump, and Shot put. All the boys and girls have to do the same things. We also have to do the Physical Fitness Test. But that's only for the seventh grade here. :) So, everyday in P.E, we have to run, and then we play the sports in teams. The sports change every few weeks later. I hate running the mile. We do that four times in the year, not too many times. :) So, every Tuesday and Thursday, we have to run two laps. On Friday, we run around the school. And miles are random. But since I'm going into eight grade, I don't know how many tims we have to run around the track everyday. I think it's two laps everyday. And we also have to take tests on the sports we play. It's easy if you study. So, that's what we do during P.E. :)

i think boys can play vollyball 2. in my small-ish neighborhood, a few boys played it. but that wuz b4 a family who lived across the street frm me moved to NJ. there wuz only 1 boy out of the 6 kids, so maybe he played it cuz we were younger and there wuz nothing else 2 do. it was about 3 years ago.it was pretty hard for him cuz the only kids in out nieghborhod that were his age were girls, including me. he was our friend,and no, we didnt make him do girl stuff. in fact, he usually made up the fun games we played. dang it! i have to write him a letter rite now cuz last time he came to visit, he sed to write 2 him more! he just wrote to us and, as always, put my name last. that has got 2 change.....

in my school we also run laps everyday or so i think
and we also run the mile 4 times (1 for each 9 weeks) and that for 5-8th =[
what we do in gym is stretch then run then do a game like dodge ball or ....basketball soccer...or just basketball, or anything the gym teacher can come up with ...
for here you have to sign up for a sport and try out if you want to make the team....and i made the volleyball team so im very happy!

in my old skool, we had to run the mile outside in the hot sun with no shade and at the time we were wearing black cuz of a graduation thing. and, as u kno, black attracts heat. i still manged to get a good time on the mile tho.

we dont have no shade either but thankfully i wasnt wearing balck as i no of...

i have been reading comics 4 a couple years. the oldest comic i have was printed in 1992. i wuznt even born then, but i got it from a yard-sale.

and,yes, i read comic 236. it was awesome! i had been waiten a while for it to come out and i finaly found it at walmart.and it was the only copy left, so i was LUCKY!!!!!

i hav less than 100 comics. i lost a lot i think. =( and those were the ones i relly liked 2!!! it is gona b chaotic in my house on october 16th or 18th. one of those days is my grammas birthday, and she and my grampa mite come over. that is not chaotic, but i they come, so will my aunt and my cousins. 1 is named Tori, and she is 3, and SO cute=D. but she is HYPER!!! and the other is loud, rambuctios,agressive Kenrick, who is 7. i fall asleep fast after a day with them, but i am always awaked by the noises they make. but i still luv them cuz they r family. =D

Monica, Archie #236 is BIG! Well----- it's a big, exciting comic that is... :) Archie #236 is not a double digest. It's just a digest. But it's a REALLY GROOVY comic! Well, harrypotterfan, if you put your name in the E-mail Address area, nothing would really happen or change. If---you are talking about the "E-mail Address" section which is right on the bottom of the "Name" section before you post up a comment. ;) If you put your e-mail there----- then if your comment was not approoved by the owner, they will confirm you. :) Which is a really GROOVY thing. ;)

Well, first of all, if ur sketching something with a pencil, draw VERY lightly so if u don't like it u can erase it without messing up ur paper. Plus, patience is very important because say, u start a pic good, then u don't want 2 rush urself n make it look bad. :]- Amal*F

Well, sarah, the cartoon-people will help you with your artistic-skills. I asked my brother and sister to teach me how to draw hands, and they both said, "Nobody can really teach you how to draw hands. You just have to practice it yourself." Because nobody can really teach you how to draw hands actually. :I I'm also going to go to a cartooning school. :) Hopefully. Or---I'll just practice at home. :) And, harrypotterfan, I can still get Archie things. I just found these Archie stuff, but a lot of people were bidding on it for A LOT of money. So----I can't get it. :( But, I can find the same Archie things again maybe. :)

Amal F, since you won the story contest, you can choose your prize between two things:

1. You can get a one year subscription to a comic of your choice

I chose the Digest Collector Set. Personally, I think it's better than the one year subsription. So, I believe that you should choose the Digest Collector Set. IT'S the best in my opinion. But, just get what you want. :) That's all. :)

Well, Amal F, I'm sure that you were confirmed that you won. Because I was confirmed too. :) Okay, umm.... you know how Patty confirmed you (that you won), correct? Yes. Okay, so... reply and tell her what you want. Which digest collector set you want of course. You get your comics in the mail. I got it in a big white package and it was by my front-door. I think you'll get it like that too. :) And Cinammon Apple, about the one-year subscription. The amount of comics depend on which KIND you want. Okay, I e-mailed Rik Offenberger and asked him about the one-year subsription. I asked him how many comics would I get, he replied this in my e-mail (He calls me Archie because that's my nickname by the way):

Well that depends on the comic you like. The collectors set is a years worth of comics that have already been printed. A subscription is a years worth of comics we are going to print. So for the same title it should be the same quantity of comics in the subscription or the collectors sets. However it changes from title to title. Betty & Veronica Spectacular is published 4 times a year. Sonic the Hedgehog is published 13 times a year. So if you pick B&V Spec you get 4 comics, if you pick Sonic you get 13 comics. Most of our comics are published every 5 weeks giving you 10 issues in a year. I hope that helps.

Cinnamon Apple, if your talking about the Digest Collector Set, then yes. I'm sure that you can choose which comics you want to have. :) And shea, he calls me Archie because whenever I write an e-mail, I write Archie at the end. For Example, If I were to say, "I have a question," I would write:

Unnumbered Day, that just a design on a shirt. Sometimes the designs on shirts DON'T describe it's owner. Jughead, he's just a misogynist. :) AKA Woman-Hater. :) ---BUT---- he doesn't necessarily HATE girls. That's a whole different story. (If you want me to tell you that "Whole-Different-Story" then just ask.) :) In my opinion, Jughead's the best as a misogynist. :) And about the other thing about Midge... Pureheart the Powerful, have you ever emailed Rik and asked him what the letter on Jughead's shirt stands for. And if you did, you post his answer?

That's confusing and can easily be mixed up...I think I'll stick to my theorys (I know I won't forget them).

First, in one comic, Betty or Veronica asked Jughead what the "S" on his shirt meant. Then he replied that it can mean all different kinds of foods such as, (and then he says a whole bunch of stuff). And then Betty or Veronica says, "SORRY, that I asked." I listen to the interviews here... and if you listen to them, they talk about that. In another story, Jughead just says that he likes the letter "S". Okay, not for the "Whole-Different-Story." Okay, first, I------uh, Cinammon Apple, I got to go now! Darn... I have to get ready. (I just woke up). But I promise that I will tell you that "Whole-Different-Story." :) So, just wait unitl I get back on these blogs!

Okay, I got ready... :) Anyway, about that "Whole-Different-Story." Well, that's just about Jughead being on several-dates before. In the early 1990s, Jughead had three girlfriends: Debbie, Joani, and January McAndrews. January McAndrews wasn't really his girl-friend. She was going to be, but, that didn't work out in the comics... that's just long gone. He also dated somebody in a wheel-chair. Anyway, in another story, he describes that the reason why he doesn't chase after girls is because of a childhood heartbreak, sustained before he moved to Riverdale. Before, Jughead, moved to Riverdale, little Jughead befriended a girl named Joani Jumpp. They sort of had this "puppy-love." :P But, Jughead had to move into Riverdale... which meant that he had to leave Joani. Jughead didn't want to go through the heartbreak again, so he swore off girls. He keeps little Joani's picture in his wallet to reminds him about his heartbreak, and vows never to fall in love. But, Jughead was up for a surprise! Because that all changes when Joani suddenly appears on his door step. Joani is a young woman now, and she tells Jughead that she never forgot him and still has a crush on him. The two shared their first kiss together. Before Jughead decides whether he wants to pursue a relationship with Joani, she leaves him -- but with a promise that they will be together again. So, that was the "Whole-Different-Story." But, personally, Jughead's the best as a misogynist. It suits him in my opinion. :)

But usually, ebay has everything. :) And, yes, my story did have Joani in it. :) But, I wanted that orangutan story to win. That one was great and groovy. I had 400 hundred comix, then I lost count, but it's not how many comix u hav , it's how much u enjoy and like ur comix:] U know wat's really annoying? Sometimes I decide I want 2 buy a comic, then I look inside and notice that I've read all the stories inside and that the only difference is that it's under a new cover. I know and understand that it's hard 2 always come up with new ideas, and sometimes it's a way 2 c past comix u didn't hav the chance 2 buy b4, but it can also b a waste of money and stuff. It would b really awesome if there were not as many repeated comix in Archie comix, so u could always hav new stuff 2 read. However, if u take the comix idea's and story from something like Archie's video vualt, I wouldn't mind that:].- Amal*F

I have an idea for a new Archie comic! This new streange girl and her older sister move to Riverdale. Nobody knows much about them. SUddenly Archie falls head over heels for the older sister )whatever her name might be) while the younger sister hates Archie. Together with Betty and Veronica they find away to pry Archie away from this new girl even sinking down to a new level of low and askin =g the heart breaker master for help...Reggie!-now that would be awsome!

SUBJECT #1
You're drawing a picture of Jughead on a piece of blank paper. Then, you look at your drawing of Jughead who's holding a burger in his hand for a while and you notice a mistake. So, you decide to go get a eraser that's on your the bookshelf. When you come back, you notice that the burger's gone. You thought that this was some joke somebody was playing on you, so you draw another burger in his hand. You look away for a while and when you look back at your drawing... The burger you drew in his hand was gone again! Then Jughead looks at you and yawns. What would you do next?

SUBJECT #2
You're in your dream and you're at Riverdale High. You see Archie and Jughead talking from far-way. Archie is holding his "R" sweater and then puts it in his back-pack. Then, Archie and Jughead begin to leave. Problem is, Archie put in his "R" sweater less than half-way and it falls out of his backpack. They continue to walk home. You run and pick up the "R" sweater with your hand, but Archie and Jughead are no where in sight. You walk and try to find him, and then you wake up. It was ALL just a dream. So, with your hands shaped as a fist. You yawn and stretch your arms out and begin to rub your eyes. Then you feel a nice-cloth against your face and it was Archie's "R" sweater! What would you do next?

I remember this one comic when Veronica calls Betty over and shows her the brand new coffin that she's supposed to collect things she'll need for marriage to put in the coffin for safekeeping. Okay, it's not really a coffin, it's a hope chest, but it sure looks like a coffin. Anyways, when Betty sees the hope chest, she bursts into tears and runs out the door, wailing that she doesn't have one. Veronica, not wanting her friend to be upset, orders another hope chest for Betty and then phones up Archie and Jughead to bring it over to Betty's house. Halfway through the walk to Betty's house with the hope chest, Archie spots Moose walking towards them, looking mad because Archie went out with Midge the other night. So Archie climbs into the chest,unseen by Moose. When Moose reaches Jug, he asks him if he's seen Archie. Jug said no and told him to help carry the chest. When Jughead and Moose arrive with the chest, Betty opens it and hugs Archie, saying that's all she ever wanted for marriage. It's SO stupid!

When you look at what is says on how many comments there are, that means that the comment on the top is that number. So, your comment would be number 184.

Yeah, the story was okay, but who in the right mind would cry over a coffin? Besides, what stuff is there to put in a hope chest? A wedding dress would get wrinkled, flowers would die, and jewelery could easily be put somewhere else. Hee hee! Betty's right! The only thing you need for marriage is a boy! Sometimes I really think those teenagers are lacking in sense. Good ol' Archie comics!

You're drawing a picture of Jughead on a piece of blank paper. Then, you look at your drawing of Jughead who's holding a burger in his hand for a while and you notice a mistake. So, you decide to go get a eraser that's on your the bookshelf. When you come back, you notice that the burger's gone. You thought that this was some joke somebody was playing on you, so you draw another burger in his hand. You look away for a while and when you look back at your drawing... The burger you drew in his hand was gone again! Then Jughead looks at you and yawns. What would you do next?

SUBJECT #2
You're in your dream and you're at Riverdale High. You see Archie and Jughead talking from far-way. Archie is holding his "R" sweater and then puts it in his back-pack. Then, Archie and Jughead begin to leave. Problem is, Archie put in his "R" sweater less than half-way and it falls out of his backpack. They continue to walk home. You run and pick up the "R" sweater with your hand, but Archie and Jughead are no where in sight. You walk and try to find him, and then you wake up. It was ALL just a dream. So, with your hands shaped as a fist. You yawn and stretch your arms out and begin to rub your eyes. Then you feel a nice-cloth against your face and it was Archie's "R" sweater! What would you do next?

Blech, so many subjects. :) Forget about mine then. Anyway, Morgie, I have an official answer to your question/subject. In one story, Betty and Veronica asks Jughead what the "S" on his sweater means. And he answer, "It means all different kinds of food such as, (He lists down food names)." And then one of the girls reply, "I think it means, 'SORRY' I asked." He also claims that he just likes the letter "S." In one story, Jughead was about to reveal what it meant, but in the end, it got ruined. So he didn't reveal what it meant. A long time ago, there was a baseball team that started with the letter "S" and Jughead might have liked that team. So that's why he wore the letter "S". Not a complete 100% answer though. It's on the interviews. It's fun to listen to. And that's all. :)

Betty is such a goody-goody... I don't really like goody-goodies.
Betty can be funny, but I believe that Veronica is funnier. Her comments and jokes make me laugh a lot. :) Veronica's and Betty's looks and styles are kind of equal. Not a bad thing. :) And... hard to explain. I just like Ron better than Betty. A LOT of people are Betty Fans, because she so kind, sweet, and yak, yak, yak. But--- I just like Veronica better. Oh, I'm in eight-grade. :) But--- middle school is the worst time out of all the school years. Anyway--- I also believe that school is torture. :) Back-pain... from all the heavy-things I need to carry sometimes. But--- today, I drew A LOT in class. I drew Archie and the Gang when they were a bit older than as they were in the "Little Archies".
I'll send it in the Fan Art later. LATER--- I'm busy. Also--- I have an art project and I have to choose a song. Then, I have to draw a picture about that song. I'm doing a song by The Archies OF COURSE. I'm going to ask my Art Teacher if I can do the Art project twice or three times. It's fun... I'm going to do a song by The Archies, and then some other songs. Maybe Numa Numa... that one is a Romanian song. You know, songs from different languages. German, Romanian, French... etc. (NO offense, but I don't like many Asian songs--- maybe some cartoon Japanese songs... but not A LOT.) NO offense... we all have our own tastes in music. Anyway, I'm not a big fan of manga... just Archie and the Gang. :) I have to STUDY. BYE... and I hope my music tastes don't lead onto another subject... Hey! I'm in 8th grade two! We should all be blogging buddies me CA HPF Shea and PTP and Purehaert...My back has been hurting all WEEK from all those textbooks....*Shudder*

Pureheart,I'm not a big fan of manga either, but I'm a bigger fan now than I was. Last year, all the kids in my class were Naruto fans. I borrowed Book 1 of the Japanese books,and I thought it was so boring! I thought all manga was like that, but this summer I got into some really good Japanese anime. So, I like the older Japanese shows, not the new ones.

Grrr... my stupid teacher is evil. She's nice to the kids who have a really hard time in school and mean to mean and never calls on me. (Well she does sometimes, but not a lot.) We were checking our spelling pre-test and the boy who checked mine were argueing because the a looked like a c. Then the teacher came over and said "I know you're used to getting 100... (blah blah blah) but if some one marks a someone test wrong but the other person didn't think it was wrong, the person would take it out on the other person next time." Like I would to that! If on this site they made a quiz to see which Archie charcacter you are most like and then they have like a bunch of questions with different choices and then after you finish them all it'll say "your most like _______" and then some info describing them you get it. Yeah...that would be cool.

A test would be cool! I don't think choosing answers to lead to your favourite character would be subconscious, it would be deliberate. I do character tests all the time! I don't cheat, because I really do want to know what character I am. Sometimes, though, when I think I know the show or the comic really well, I'll choose answers to lead to one of the minor characters. I'm pretty good at it!

yes shea, i live VERY close. it's cool, b/c in 1st grade and 2nd grade and sometimes 3rd, we go to the natioal zoo, and in summer 2006, i went to see Tai Shan, the baby panda. he was up a tree, probobly overwelmed by all the attention. I see DC a lot. It took 4 hours to get to Jamestown on a bus in 4th grade. and this summer! groan.....! but, i went in a car for 10 hours once, to Vermont [for my Grandma's funeral. sniff sniff]. i had a stomach bug....but i didnt get sick. yay. anyway, i m going to the book fest for:
extra credit in LA [language arts, not Los Angelas],
and to see authors!

1.I met shea in real life.

3,4,&5. I WAS harry potter. but i was all wrong! the goblet of fire was a cauldron, and it was in the Chamber of Secets, which was a party room or something! and i wont tell u about Cho Chang....

and i had wierd dreams:

1. All the building that r whit in DC [the capital, white house, monuments, etc.] collapsed at the same time! no one was hurt tho.

2. Some evil dude used the sea stuff [water and all] to make fabric! there was no water left, and the only way to get the water back was to dry clean the sea fabric! that one i had last night. the white house i had the night b4!

3. Hot glue exploded in the library wen ever the librarian opened a folder! wierd...

I just thought id intrest you with the wierdness of my dreams!

we do this fundraiser
where we sell cookes, and pizza, cinnommon rolls, and pretzels!!

but anyways we got it for this year and they added even more stuuf it seems like
(im drooling right now!!!)
but its so good =D
we raise the money for the school choral booster club that buys our t-shirts, to go to comepteion, honors chorus, (honors chorus you dont have to do, its optional.)

(imagine this little town with all that stuff!!)

we did last year to go to this other place and it was awesome
...
but i do think the person who desgined the charter bus was a hippy,
the whole bus, even the seats was TI-DY!!

and the charter bus was HUGE!!!
haha yes, in the town next to us (it takes i say about 25 minutes to get to the other town) (once again im telling you this "county", with of course that only has one town it, IS SOOO SMALL!!!) and yet they have BIG charter buses..(i was so amased i toke a picture!) (a couple)
but i hope we have that one again it had like 6 tvs in it,even though the tv was small, lol
and also, there where even things to put your feet on!!!
and there was a thing that like in a car to lean your arm on!!
it was just awesome,
it also had GREAT air condition,
and it even had a bathroom!!
(i didnt go in there, YUCK) (lol)
anyways yeah!
oh and if that comic convintion happens in april or you just go there i hope to see you there..

For Halloween I'm gonna be a Ragdoll. 'm gonna have stitched up ppieces of cloth from all bunch of different clothes and black and white stripped knee socks and my black boots. I'm also gonna paitn my face whiteish blueish/greenish with black circles around the eyes and painted on stitches across my mouth. My moms gonna help me make my costume cause I wasnt to make one not buy one this year. What do you think about my costume. Good or bad idea?

oooh i have no clue why i just thought of this!!
see also last year when i was on the junior beta field trip, it turns out they did the mother daughter photo shot, (its wear a couple of weeks before mothers day, mothers and daughters if they want to enter, for the newspaper, oh we have 2 newspaper in my county, town, whatever you want to call it that shows you how small my county is where ive been saying! but its no THAT small like you have to drive 30 minutes to go to the county next to us, and 45 minutes or so for the county on he other side of us, there is a mountain is why it longer. but im getting of subject, as i was saying the mother and daughter enter the "mother and daughter look alikes", that only happens for mothersday, they take there picture, and then they show every picture in the newspaper, and the person that won, and the mother and daughter that won wins a dinner for them and there family for free for mothersday, they also do this for fathers day.)
ok well they do this for a couple of weeks before they put it in the newspaper, so they can get everyone in who wants to enter.
well when i got off the charter bus from the trip,and into my moms car (who gave me a huge hug and my grandma also)and she she "gasped" she said oh my gosh i just forgot that we could have entered that contest and we forgot!
well i didnt even no we had that contest because i really never read our newspaper much, only i read the sports section to see if im in there for volleyball (looked for it in the newspaper the past 2 years because for my school and the ones in different county's around us, volleyball starts in 7th grade..but now they made a rec team for 5th and 6th but ill maybe explain that later..)
so my mom explained that every year they do that..and i was like AAWWW I MISSED IT!!!!

lol im the shortest on my volleyball team and like my best friend is a head taller than me ALMOST!!

wellll, each subject lasts 88 minutes. except Spectrum and Band, b/c they share a period of 88 minutes, so they're about 44.
What country are you fom Jackie? We dress up in costumes and walk around with bags or something, and we go door to door. We say "Trick or Treat!" and people give us candy! sometimes it's small toys tho. This year, I'm going as a witch from Harry Potter b/c my bro once went as Harry Potter, so I get to wear it! [But not the glasses or anything.] Unnumbered Days, you're idea is so creative! I would never think of that! It's a good idea! Morgie, you're idea is great too! I love that movie! I saw it 3 times!!!!! I like your idea too Cinnamon Apple! If you do change it, I'm sure it'll be great! The books are MUCH better than the movies. They changed TOO many things in the movie, but, I do like the movies. You should read the books first. So when you watch the movie, you'll notice what has changed. :)

Oh--- I also went to Radioshack... and I got the Flytechno Dragonfly. :) The green one, it's fun to fly it. :) Anyway, next to Radioshack was the store called Game Stop, they obviously have Games there. I go there to buy games etc. Anyway, I went in there with my sister and we just wanted to look around and I saw the Harry Potter game for the Gameboy (Old One). So I bought that Harry Potter game. :) It's fun. :)

I know what you mean. When they say dark they mean literally...Everything in the movie is dimly lite especially the 5 one.

Oh so right about that Pureheart!:D I was so sad when there wasn't any Quiditch in the 5th movie. That was one of my favorite parts of the book because... I usually read the HP books 1st b/c now that the movies are rated [I hate to say this b/c...I duno y.] *ahem* PG-13, Im afraid of getting WAY too scared. It's kinda wierd b/c I LOVE TO READ SCARY STORIES! Im reading one of my favorite series now-Fear Street! They're kinda...er...blech in some parts. I feel the same way about Fear Street shea! Im reading one now...but i wont say the title b/c it's kinda scary. In fact...I was so scared, I left it to come here. I like em tho. only parts of it are creepy. I checked out 6 from the library. Im on the 5th. I checked em out on Sunday. I dont know why Im saying this stuff =). I always read the last page to make sure everyone lives and they all live happily ever after. Thats all happened in each book except 1...UGH! I WONT SAY IT!

HarryPotterFan, I watched all of those movies... Sleeping Beauty, Anastasia, Cinderella, the lion King, and maybe some of the other movies in your "etc." list. Hahaha... anyway, I really like to movie Anastasia. It was based on a true story and Rasputin was actually real. Except for the fact that his arm can't stretch out etc. Hahaha... anyway... About the Lion King. I like it a lot too. Both One and Two. But NOT One and a half. :P Blech, I hate that. Now--- on Sleeping Beauty. I like that too, and Cinderella... But I am not a "Princess" person. I just think that the Plot, etc., of the movie was good. You know what I mean? And... that's all about that. And HarryPotterFan, I can not believe that you know Anastasia too. Because not many people I know- know that movie. So, I feel happy that you know that movie. :o) Because it's in my Favorite Movie list. :o) Oh, and has anybody watched: The Archies in Jugman? That movie is hilarious!

I feel the same way about thoses movies Pureheart. I like Fairy Tales, so thats why i like the Cinderella and such. Anastasia is one of my favorite movies. I was so interested in it because - like you said- it's a true story. I went to the library and found a whole lot of books about her. There's one -I think its called Anastasia's Album or something- that has pictures that were actually taken by Anastasia! Some book has a picture of Rasputan, but i don't think that it's that book. I've also read her diary. Anyway, I have that movie somewhere up here....I'm going to go find it...and, have my mom check my math homework =P.

[moan] after I posted that last comment, I was heading down the stairs. When I was near the middle of the staircase, I fell and landed hard on my......."Tailbone". It REALLY hurts. It's hard to walk, lean forward, sit, stand, lay down, LAUGH. Yes, it hurts to laugh. And move a little while sitting, standing, and laying down. Ow! I cried a little because it hurt soooo badly! Sigh..I have PE tomarrow. At least my mom said that if it still hurts tomarrow morning [I bet it will!], she'll write me an excuse. Yay mom! Anyway......I am now going to finally search for Anastasia. I haven't done that yet. I went downstairs and fell =(. It was so hard to climb up the stairs to get to this computer! At least I only have 13 stairs!

It's a Disney movie, and she was real. I checked out a book in the Royal Diary series [like the Dear America] and they have the diaries of Cleopatra, Marie Antionette [did i spell that right?] Queen Elizabeth the I, and Anastasia. They also have more that I can't remember. Anyway, that's what I meant. It's a copy of her diary. I think it's wierd, having someone reading your personal, private thoughts! I read em anyway though! It's so interesting! I hope you feel better! I feel sore too, if you read below! Oh,and Anastasia lived in Russia in....1918 or something. [just wanted to throw some info in!] I know of someone at my school named Anastasia, but, of course, it's not her! Hope this answers your question!

Oh, that was me who said that shea. There's these series of books called "My America" wrote by girls living through parts of history such as the civil war. But theres another series that are about Princess' and it's like there writing in there diary. There really really cool!:D

I don't like IMing either. Archiecomics.com is so much fun but if people started being rude and hurting peoples feelings, I would leave. All my friends have AIM but I don't, but when I do, I'll only chat to my friends.

And it's really important to be nice, too. Even if you don't curse or say anthing really bad, it can still hurt. Like if you say you don't like someone's story, it would hurt the author's feelings really badly because they worked really hard on their story. So remember the Golden Rule: Treat People the way you would want to be treated.

and one spent the night and the other one went home because the next day her mom and dad was taking her, and her 2 sisters for her birthday somewhere,

but anyways so i couldnt get on yesterday night because of that
and i didnt have time wednesday because of work, and thursday i had a volleyball game got home at like 7 (it was an away game)
so yeah =D
but now im on =DDD

Wow. I love this site! We always go out to dinner on Saturday, and the 1st thing I do when I get home is go here =). How was your guy's day? Mine was great! =D. Although the Big Apple Circus is in town, and they play this annoying jingle on the radio, and now it's caught in my head! And the worst part is....I only know 2 lines, so those same lines are stuck in my head! =(!

So even if you're really small, you won't miss a thing!

It gets pretty annoying! I already went two years ago, and my mom doesn't want to go back. Neither do I if they play that song there ;)! Plus, it's a lie kinda. The seats are pretty much the same level, so you can't really see, especially [and I quote] "if you're really small!" you won't see as much. At least I couldn't! Anyway, I'll stop insulting the circus. It can be cool. Like when They have acrobats and such and so. I just don't like clowns. Don't ask me why. I have no idea. To me, they're just not funny. Then again, I don't really laugh at things that I think are funny. I'm too much like my dad. Ok. I think I'm just babbling now. Sorry. I'm going to go shower now before I go downstairs. Methinks I shall be back! =D! Soon that is. I don't want to see a movie that my family does. I'd rather be here. I usually do watch movies though, but this one sounds a tad bit uninteresting to me. In fact, today I was reading a comic that had Pureheart the Powerful in it! That's the 1st comic I ever bought with him in it. I didn't realize it at the time though! That comic was fun to read!

I think China is a day ahead of us because the sun rises in the East, and China is way to the East of us. So, it takes a long time for the sun to rise in the West, which is where most of us live. Gee, it must be hard to adjust to the time difference if one was to visit China! The Pacific Ocean would be a faster way to travel to China than the Atlantic. Woah! I think I'm living in a different time zone here! Airplanes are the most popular long-distance travel method now! It's the 21st century!

I HATE MY BROTHER. HE IS SUCH A MEAN LIL BRAT.

Wow Cinnamon Apple. He sounds pretty bad. Is he really that horrible? My brother called me bossy because He didn't pick up his plate, almost put a dirty dish back in the cabinit because it LOOKED clean, and knocked down something, and I told him that the dirty dishes go in the sink, that it was a rule to pick up his plate, and pick up what he knocked over. Of course, he acted like I didn't do my chores either. In fact, last night, he left something [really messy plate =P] on the table, and I picked it up. His friend is so annoying! He always demands my mom to do stuff! He says this: "Mrs. _ _ _ _ _! Bring my pizzas now! I'm ready for them!" and meanwhile, my mom is trying to clean or read or do paperwork or something, while my brother and friend are playing video games or watching TV! It drives me crazy, because I think that my brother is becoming his friend! And, once my mom said that, since I was sick, my brother's friend didn't have to come over. But, he called, and she couldn't say no because he gave reasons why my bro couldn't go over there! Such as "My sister is crying and my mom can't stop her!". I don't wana say hate, so I'll say this:

I really really really really REALLY don't like my brother's friend! >=(. Ok.Sorry about all that. I just wanted to get that out because I haven't told anybody!

Wow, HarryPotterFan, his friends sounds evil. You know, whenever something like that happens, you got to do something and take action. Such as that "Plate-Incident". Don't pick it up after him, you have to tell him that you need some respect and that it's his problem and not yours. And if he keeps on saying mean things to you and keeps on telling you to do things, don't listen. That just shows him how it's so easy to control you. And about him saying mean things, just ignore it. Even if it's so hard to ignore. Just keep on saying, "Okay", every time he says something mean, that really makes the other person a little bit more irritated, but that doesn't really matter. This is going to be hard, but you have to tell your brother that he's making the wrong kind of friends. I think he is older, yes? Well, if he is, there's a big chance that he wouldn't listen to you. But, you have to tell him that he should not be his friend. He's your brother, so you have to do some things for him, even though he might get annoying, etc. Just try your VERY best to tell your brother that he's not the right kind of friend. Whenever I made a new friend at school, my brother just looked at my friend and said, "Don't be that person's friend." And I never did listen to my brother because I just BECAME that person's friend on the very first day. And later on, we became enemies. I made more that seven NEW friends, and my brother always told me, "Don't be their friends, they're not good." But I always said, "No, they're really nice! Really." But, guess what, later on, my new friends weren't my friends anymore. My brother was always right, so whenever he tells me not to be somebody's friend, I'm going to listen to him. ;)

Shea, the comic had something to do with a villian called the Looker. If she stared at a man, he would become weak. If she looked at him in the eye, he'd become a puddle of boiling chicken fat! [wierd, huh?] IN fact, just like in Pureheart's story, Archie could turn into Pureheart! So, Archie didn't know that the Looker was the Looker, and he'd give her directions to the bank she was about to rob! Thn, one day, he still didn't know she was the Looker. But she knew he was Pureheart! He was abou to look into her eyes, but Veronica [dressed as a man, but no one knew at the time, including the reader] can up, and the Looker looked her in the eye. But, since Ron was a girl, the stare bounced back to the Looker, and she was defeated! The End!

I have a question for Patty: How long does it take for your comics to arrive? It's been 5 weeks and still no comics.

OMG! EVRYODY, RICHARD H. GOLDWATER DIED! did I spell his name right? HE DIED!

I don't watch Archie on T.V mainly because I don't have the channel, but I don't think I would watch it anyway because of their voices. I mean, the voices are okay, but after you've been reading the comics for years, any other voices for the characters just doesn't seem right. I feel this all the time when I watch anime. My brothers and I usually watch the Japanese version with English sub-titles rather than watching the dubbed version. I like the Japanese voices and become used to them, and when I hear the dubbed version some time later, it sounds REALLY stupid! I hate Veronica's voice on the shows!

Well Jackie, I'm on now! I just wasn't when you posted that! I didn't think you were a boy. There's a kid in my class in Language A. who looks a little like Jackie Chan, so we call him that. He doesn't mind.

I used to watch the Archie shows, but they got pulled off the air for some reason. Maybe I'll wright to the TV station. I don't know what they have in it's place. I think it's, The Little's or, Sabrina:the Animated Series.
The last Archie Show I saw was 3 years ago. It was Archie's Wierd Mysteries. I think it was about the giant worm that invaded Riverdale, and Archie and his dad saved the town.

HarryPotterFan, I love Archie's Weird Mysteries! :) And The Littles too. :) Anyway, I remember that show! That is one of my favorite shows out of all the Archie's Weird Mysteries shows! It's called The Day the Earth Moved, Episode #27! I love that episode! They had to ring the town bell and they also had to say, "Till ambulation, at three and twenty one, will cease the sensation, and the deed will be done." Because Three Twenty One equals March 20, which is the first day of Spring. And every spring, they have to ring the bell to prevent the worm from coming and causing trouble. And Archie had to wear a Kilt! Hahaha... and the worm was the cause of the "sensation" and they had to ring the bell to "cease" the sensation! :) Love that episode... okay, I'll stop talking about that episode. :)

You are SO lucky to need rain to go away! We Virginians are in a drought. The fruits and stuffs are priced kinda high, since they're hard to grow. It looked like rain today, but no such luck =(. There's a rumor [only a rumor, but still] that if you use too much water, you have to pay a fine of $500. If you do it again, they shut off your water! That's only here though. We haven't had rain since late July to early September! Sometimes, we hear thunder, but no rain. I hope there will be snow come winter. It wouldn't be right without it. Next time it rains, a long, heavy rain, I might go out in it a walk. I miss the rain....

Ok. Now I feel like I'm writing a book. I'll just stop about the rain now. I might even use that in a book.......

shea, Archie's Weird Mysteries came on PAX and on UPN13. Maybe some other channels depending on where you live... BUT--- that show got cancelled. ;( Anyway, I'm going to be busy at school and probably over summer. This is what I am going to do:

1. Guitar Lessons
2. Drum Lessons
3. Vocal Lessons
4. Piano Lessons (I quit it before, but as in the Archie Comics: A winner never quits! And a quitter never wins!)
5. Practice Alto Saxaphone
6. Archie Club -I must plan everything that we will be doing everyday, etc.

That's what I'll do during the school days (All of them are not in school) and during the summer. ;) I enjoy doing ALL of those though. :)
