Greetings, gang!

Jughead reporting for duty, I’m bringing you another awesome recipe from the Archiecomics.com kitchen. Let’s check in with this month’s featured chef, Will L. of Lenexa, KS. My friend Will writes in to say, “Hi, Jughead, how are you doing? I have a hauntingly fun snack recipe to tell you about. I like to call this little specialty, Deviled Eyeballs. Try it, you’ll love it.” You’ve got my attention, Will, but I don’t know if you have my appetite yet. Tell us more:

What you’ll need:

1-6 Hard boiled eggs

Mayonnaise

Mustard

Green olives with pimentos

What to do:

  1. Get some parental help in hard boiling your eggs and peeling them.

  2. Cut the eggs in half lengthwise.

  3. Remove the yolk halves. Break them up and combine them in a bowl with the mustard and mayonnaise.

  4. Spoon the mixture back into the egg halves and add an olive (pimento side up) to make the eyeball.

  5. Serve a spooky pair to a friend!

Will, that does sound like a tasty and fun treat. I just don’t know if I can convince myself to eat something that is staring back at me, but I’ll sure try. Thanks for sending in your cool recipe. Now how about you, do you have a tasty summer recipe you would like to share with everyone? If so I'd love to hear it, just E-mail it in. You may be my next featured chef! Make sure to put ‘Jughead’s Recipes’ in the subject line of your e-mail.
