Jug here. Feeling kinda puny.
Pop Tate has told me on more than one occasion never to eat food with mayonnaise if you’re on a picnic. It goes bad in like 3 minutes.
Well, I ignored that bit of sage advice yesterday and I had not one, not two, but THREE helpings of Nancy’s Mom’s potato salad. She makes the best potato salad in the world – but I found out it didn’t come straight to the picnic from her fridge.
Nancy did some shopping first and left it locked up in the car. The lesson here: heat does wonky things to mayonnaise and that can really do a number on the old tummy.
I hope I feel better soon. This is NOT how I planned to spend my Memorial Day!
