Hi guys. Arch here.Well, it’s Groundhog Day. That means January is O-V-E-R! My extra-credit report is done AND turned into Ms. Grundy (who smiled when she saw the subject I chose) AND it’s Friday! Woo hoo!
Now I can concentrate on more important things – like what I’m going to do for Valentine’s Day.
You know, this is the first year I can remember that Valentine’s Day isn’t stressful for me. I can do whatever I want because Betty and Ron have made it abundantly clear that they are NOT participating in it this year.

When a girl has made it 'abundantly clear' that she is not participating in Valentine's Day, that really means that you are 'obligated' to surprise her with Valentine treats regardless.
If you don't, Betty and Ron will hint to you (when you least expect it) for the next 366 days afterward. They will think that you 'neglected them' not 'respected their wishes.' They will remind you that 'everyone else' got Valentine treats, and so and so was 'sooo thoughtful and remembered me.'
Now, you don't have to stress out too much. Just get the same gift for both of them and make sure it is something that beams, 'I know you made it abundantly clear but I just want you to know that I am thinking of you.'
Emmy is right Archie. Betty thought today was the day too.
