Jug vs. the Apricot

archieArchie here (filling in for Jug)

Jug was gonna write this post, but he celebrated National Apricot Day a bit too much and he’s lying down at the moment telling me what to write. (It’s pretty funny; you should see him.)

Today in Gourmet Cooking Class he ate:

Apricot Tarts

Apricot Pasta Salad

Apricot Stuffed BBQ Chicken

Apricot Cobbler

Apricot Ice Cream Pudding

Southwestern Apricot Salsa

Pickled Apricots

And he chased it all down with Apricot Nectar

Boy, does he have a stomach ache! I think he’ll be fine tomorrow, but he’s gonna have to learn to pace himself if he’s planning to celebrate all the food holidays this year.

Your Pal,

Arch (for Jug)

oh poor Juggie,
I hope that Jughead feels better. I love Apricots but I could never eat that many things with Apricots in them.=)

Good job Juggie! Way to show your patriotic side by REALLY celebrating National Apricot Day! Woohoo! You rock!

katy

I bet that's a pretty interesting situation. I do hope Juggie is okay though.

Yup!! Apricots have a lot of natural sugar, believe me I would know!! *Fruit has a terrible effect on my blood sugar* So all that sugar is like eating a big bag of candy...Not good for ANYONE. You can overdose on fruit the same as on candy. Hard to believe, huh?

hope he feels better soon!
