Flags will fly at half-mast this week in Riverdale with the passing of Richard Goldwater. Richard was like a second father to me and has been as big an influence in my life as my Mom and Dad. Richard, you’ve been part of my life for a very long time, and I will miss your gentle guidance and kind words.

I know its sad...i have lost someone dear to me before..but think, will he be happier on Earth or up there? I think you already know the answer

I don`t know how to express my condolences enough to you. I mourn his death too. And so I am so sorry he is gone. But like I wrote to Betty,he is in a better place now, remember that.
