Hi gang!
Yesterday while Betty and I were running, she mentioned the “Back to School Dance.”
It’s a casual dance with a rock band, sounds awesome. It’s in a couple weeks. (I wonder if Ronnie knows about it, I’ll have to ask her and see.)
Anyway school starts next week and I think I’m about ready.

I am so glad that Betty is not running w/you anymore and that she chewed you out last night!! I'm glad she's going stag because she doesn't deserve anyone like you!!! I hope Adam asks her because then it will make you jealous and she can chew you out some more. Have a fun time in the dog house!

oh and i thought i should MENTION THIS TO EVERYONE!!!!
in one newer betty and veronica comics betty went with adam to the movies even though her and archie made a date to..wel arhie made the same mistake to and they both told each other because are forgot he had made a date with ron
and and betty forgot she made one with adam.
when she told him she did the same thing and she had alreay made a date with adam they both laughed then archie walked out of pop's then he thinks "adam?" hes such a creep!" he thinks so he then takes ron to the movies where betty and adam would be and it gets hectic so see he does care and really you guys...
ron likes archie alot just because betty does!

archie never asks betty out and even if she really hopes so, he only takes her when ronnie says no..i agree with pureheart and julia they're completly right...dont make archie feel guilty.Archie obviously likes veronica better so let him enjoy his life take veronica, and i bet you betty will be overwhelmed by all the love and cherish shell have if Adam of Jason Blossom take her out especially since if archie will take her, all the time he will be looking at Veronica.

It seems quite a few of you lack the intellectual capacity to notice that Veronica does in fact possess a number of merits. Yes, she can be spoiled and arrogant, but she is also generous and nice when she wants to be. Contrary to popular belief, her perennial pursuit of Archie is not merely the result of her rivalry with Betty, but because she sees in Archie a humble, warm hearted teenager who is worthy of her affections.
Betty, granted is a very sweet girl, but has foibles just like any other human being. She too, like Ronnie, schemes in order to win over Archie. In addition, Betty is supposedly one of the more intelligent teenage citizens in Riverdale High; thus, why would Betty remain friends with Ronnie if she didn't see qualities in Veronica worthy of veneration?
Betty and Veronica and most Archie characters have personalities beyond those embodied by tired teenage stereotypes; ergo it has been in print and retained a faithful fan following for over 60 years.

Archie Andrews! Are you really that insensitive?! I bet that if Veronica were'nt pretty, you wouldn't like her at all! If you made a checklist of Betty and Veronica's skills, Betty would win hands down! Ron only has her looks and her money! (okay, she gets decent grades) But, I can't beleive this. Yeah, it's your choice, but for ONCE in your life, put Betty first! She is way too good for you. You just don't realize that she could have any guy she wants! You don't realize that she has Adam, Jason Blossom, and occasionally even Reggie to sweep her away! You don't deserve someone like Betty, and although I have always hoped that you will finally choose her, if you choose Veronica, I think Betty will be just fine. You will be the one who is unhappy. Phew! I'm glad I got that off my chest. That had been bubbling up for years! :) Sorry if I offended anyone, I just needed to vent a little. :)

i kno its ur choice and all, but u should really ask betty for once. in 99% of the archie comics i've read (and thats a lot!), u've always taken ronnie to the dance. why cant u take betty for once? u kno ur favoring ron.... betty was REALLY looking forward to going with u.... she'll be heartbroken if u dont. just thought u shoud kno before u ask ronnie.... veronica should just go with reggie (which she probably is!) u kno she prefers reggie over u!
