It is not vain of Archie to call his band The Archies. Think about it, Archie was the ONE wanted to start the band, so why on earth would he want to call HIS band The Reggies? That would just be weird. It was his idea to start it, so he should name it. The Reggies would sound weird, The Archies is a perfect name. It's like Josie and the Pussycats. Josie named it after what? Herself. Reggie may be very egotistic, but don't expect him to do that. It was Archie's idea. :)
