Summer is one of my four favorite seasons of the year.
You know why? Grilling Out!
There is nothing finer then the smell of a burger sizzling on the grill. Except eating it. A little garlic salt, a dash of onion seasoning, then flame that burger up! I know Betty likes grilled chicken, but she doesn’t turn her nose up at one of my burgers. This is a little known fact, but outside of Pop Tate and maybe Betty, I’m probably the best outdoor cook in Riverdale.
Like I said, Betty loves grilled chicken. Now Archie, he’s a bratwurst man with just enough hot mustard to make it bite back. And Ronnie? Well she’s the hardest to cook for. She likes veggies cooked in a tinfoil bag - corn on the cob, new potatoes, bell peppers, stuff like that. I’m a big fan of corn on the cob myself, but with everything cooking in that tinfoil you never know when it’s done. Reggie will only eat steak and it has to be a T-bone, medium rare with a touch of barbeque sauce.
So, I’m thinking of having a cookout for the Archie gang at Riverdale Park on the Fourth of July. It will be BYOF (bring your own food) but I’ll do all the cooking. Pop Tate’s is closed that day; I know Pop would love to have someone else do the cooking for a change.
I’m going to need some help though. That’s where you all come in. Tell me:
What’s your favorite food for the grill, and
How do you like it cooked?
Bring those suggestions on and I’ll throw one of the best cookouts Riverdale has ever seen.

1. Hot dog with ketchup.
2. Cooked. Once I went to a restaurant (it was new and very busy) and they gave me a cold hot dog. Gross right? I don't want to go there again. So yeah, all I ask for is that it's cooked.

I love a veggie burger well done on the bbq, with tons of tomatos and lettus. To add a little extra flavor, I like to add honey mustard. I usually have my burger on a kaiser bun, but any kind of hamburger bun works. I am sure it will be a great BBQ

i like corn on the cob w/ spices, butter, & cheese. (yes i no, alot of food 2 fit on a cob) i like hot dogs cooked how u normally cook it with kechup, tomato slices, cooked pepper slices, onions, relish, and lettuce, . i also like hamburgers and chicken. i am not a picky eater with how u cook it. cook the food however (just not raw or well done) and ill eat it.
Hi Juggie! I love to eat franks and beans. Watermelon is also good at BBQ then you can see how spits the seeds farthest.
I absolutely LOVE cook outs and barbeque! People actually call me the female Juggie. *tee hee* My favourite grill type of food are HAMBURGERS. My friend makes this really good sauce... It's has a bit of melted cheese in it.. I dunno the rest though. I like my burgers cooked rare. Oh, and my mom puts a piece of cheese on the burger meat while it's cooking to melt it. Oh yeah! Coincidently, I'm having a barbeque tonight! *licks lips* I can't wait!

hot dog with slaw (yum)!!
hamburger with just ketchup and may-o (it sounds disgusting but it is really good!)
(oh and fries and may-o is really good to!)

I love eating too, it's like one of my hobbies. well i have some suggestions, i'm kind of a plain person so i like hamburgers and hot dogs, but with nothing on them lol. i also like chicken dogs and spare ribs are really good. i hope my suggestions help, later Jug

Jug, you should make hamburgers and lobster. I'm sure Bets will bring chicken and other people will porbably bring in hotdogs and stuff. But i bet no one will think of bringing lobster! And a ton of people like it! Hope this helps!

I like a burger with BBQ sause. Also I like my burgers well done. I suggust you use Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sause but, that's just a suggustion.....

Hi, Jug! I looooove corn on the cob with a buncha' spices. I like chicken, not beef, in a burger with onions n cabbage n pickles, medium. I like marshmallows n chips with soda. I also like hotdogs with ketchup n mustard[chicken hotdogs].mmmmmmmmmmmm yumm!I hate burnt spots on my food but a little smokey flavour is fine. What could b better than a summer barbeque?

I'm not sure how I like it grilled,but I like Grilled Porkchop.
Grilled peaches and cream are REALLY good. Grill a peach, cut in half, and add cream cheese. Good luck and have a nice day! :)
Well Jug....... I would have to say that my favorite food for the grill is steak.....but not just any kind of steak, mind you! LOL most people think I'm weird for eating it like this but I like mine medium rare.....another food that I like on the grill is burgers! Now that's good! Have a happy forth!

My favorite outdoor food is a banana boat! These work on a campfire or a grill. You take a banana, and peel back one tiny section of it (like a boat). Then you scoop out some of the insides and fill it with chocolate chips and miniature marshmallows. Then you replace the peel, wrap the entire thing in tinfoil, and cook it till the marshmallows and chocolate chips melt. It's easiest to eat these with a spoon. Happy grilling!

I just love beef kabobs and shrimp kabobs. Of course the beef kabobs need to be done medium rare. Glazed with a honey garlic sauce. The shrimp kabobs must be made with bacon wrap scallops smothered with butter no margarine. That stuff does not work right and is bad for you. MMMMMMMMM to me that is the best barbecuing.
Jug, my favorite cooked food is Hot Dogs. In fact, thats what I'm having for supper today!! Just make sure they don't have any/much burnt spots on them, or they just end up tasting like ashes. Oh, and you could also roast marshmallows!! mmmm....
I would suggest Pork Chops marinated overnight in Beer(Seeing how you are all underage Alcohol Free Beer adds the same flavor)....it's delicious!
I like grilled cheese,half-way done,not too much cheese,made by my mom,on Wonder's wheat bread. I'm SO piccky! lol.
